!! EDIT - SOLVED !! - Customer service fixed my issue with DIM and now the items appear in the list.
Another fantasy bundle DIM issue. Like some others reported above, I purchased the Dain 8 fantasy bundle and a couple of related add-ons. In my DIM list, the add-ons appear but not the elements of the bundle. I checked my account and the fantasy bundle is listed as purchased.
Submitted a ticket.
There seems to be an increase in the number of hiccups on the website, in sales, and in processing. Makes me wonder if they have made some recent behind-the-scenes changes to software and personel. I'm relatively forgiving on this kind of stuff as long as they make it right when it is brought to their attention, but hope they get it all sorted out soon. Everyone has a first month on the job, and every new system has to iron out details. It feels like we are dealing with growing pains.
Or, it is the same as it always has been, but it just seems like more.
Yeah, I'm trying to decide if it is worth it to me to take the Bouncer suit into a modeling program and assign material zones, etc., and then substitute the obj for Studio. Could attempt to make parts of it DForce compatible while I'm there. Wouldn't be able to share the altered obj as a freebie (right?).
The old Dane

a goto hubba hubba dude.
Dane for M4
28 Aug, 2009
Dane for Michael 4 is a SEXY!!!! ruggedly handsome male character sure to set your runtime ablaze!
Love the old blurbs
Dane for M4 looks more like a Valea/Raiya char to me, but whatever.
The bundle was setup incorrectly, apparently it wasn't actually linked to the individual products (there was no "this bundle contains..." section earlier).
The product page for the bundle seems to have been fixed, so now Daz needs to fix all existing orders.
I like Dain 8 HD. Used Diego 8's beard on him.

Ditto! In the same situation awaiting resolution.
At the risk of being a constant moaner (!), this appears to be an increasingly common issue with Daz last few months. When I submit a Helpdesk ticket my browser almost automatically fills out most of the form fields as I have had to complain so often before! Daz needs to get it's act together or it will lose customer loyalty. I for one am starting to run out of patience with the company.
Great picture! :)
It's McGyver! :)
Their turnaround time on tickets has been pretty horrendous as well. I'm still waiting on a resolution of missing files for something I purchased back before Christmas.
I'm very interested. He's in my cart as I type this. Still deciding on a couple of things. As for the cont
Thanks, L'Adair! That'll come in handy. :)
Sounds to me like they're optimizing stuff for that VR crap that I have less than zero interest in.

@Leana and @Odaa, Thanks! I see the McGyver now. Before I had thought of Peter Fonda. Maybe both men and the others mention so far in the thread are an archtype? Sexy, adventurous man...
Or at least how I remember them. :-)
My download issue for the Fantasy Bundle has been resolved. Thanks, customer service.
Looks like Dain-8's newbie status is over after only 1 day! Price is the full $134.95 from the introductory price of 30% off that normally goes for a week??
Offer is still good, there's a problem with prices right now.
Something is weird. Every part of the Dain 8 Pro bundle is 51% off -- except for Dain 8 himself, which is full price. And the bundle is full price. This is probably not intended, and I guess I will delay purchases until it is fixed.
Yes, it seems some discounts are broken right now.
Had they done the military clothing a bit better and had another military clothing outfit or two or three instead of bouncer clothing & such I could see the bundle selling to game hobbyists needing generic characters for UE4, Unity & so on. I mean C.O.D. and those type games are still a thing, 30 years after the original Wolfenstein 3D.
Seem to be OK now.
AH .. that explains it then. The depends thing was a winner for me though/
so confirming the chest hair in the promos comes with Dain? It's not listed in the product anywhere, unless whiskers suddenly means body hair.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one to see that. Yes, it looks to be fixed now.
Heh, don't rule them out...
So has anyone figured out where the dogtag in the promo is from?
If it helps anyone feel better, for those that received the purple banner, if you think of it as paying the 'sale price' for the other G8 Pro bundle you pick, and hence are getting the Dain 8 Pro Bundle for free instead...
OK, I know that's not how it works, but for those that haven't bought all of the G8 pro bundles yet, that might still want some of them...
I was pretty happy to have ended up with some 'soccer mom' clothing as part of my purchase with the Jenni 8 pro bundle. Jenni 8 didn't interest me back when she was released for some reason, probably because the 'deal' wasn't as good as other deals at the time if I had to guess, but in my case it helped sweeten the Dain 8 deal.
But paying a lot for a G2 or G3 bundle doesn't have the same thrill by said logic.
Just a random thought I had.
As for my stab at 'Mattifying' Dain 8, it turns out that I have X Morphs, now known as Shape Splitter, so that might help with the asymmetrical morphs thing. I bought X Morphs back when it was released a while ago, but never messed with it. I guess now is as good a time as any to try to figure it out.
I already used a few of the SY200 asymmetrical morphs to throw the face off balance a bit. My search didn't turn up a whole lot else r.e. asymmetrical morphs. There's one morph package in particular that II don't have that has a few more asymmetrical morphs, but I didn't see the morphs I would need for the asymmetrical eyes in that package. Shape Splitter should do the trick however.
As for sharing, it occured to me I could just dial Dain 8 out and go from there with the morph. Not sure how my 'Mattified' dude will look without Dain, but it's a thought. People could then dial Dain 8 back in on their own, but that with just the G8M base hopefully he won't look the same/should look sufficiently different. Plus, based on my research, as long as I don't name him "Matt", using some other name instead, well that's what a lot of other people do with their 'inspired by' morphs apparently.
Time to learn something new! Well, new to me anyways...
he looks very familiar but cant put my finger on it.
Like ... Matthew Rhys meets Simon Baker or James Tupper or something.
What's that hair if I may ask?
