The huge skyscrapers in the background give this a nice twist. It's like a tiny little drive in, frozen in time! Kinda spooky...lol.
:-)
There are probably far more drive ins out there just like that, more than we realize anyway!
The 1968 Ford Mustang "Bullit" fastback. 351 Cleveland, four speed.
:-)
1965 Plymouth Belvedere in Chrysler's Peacock Turquoise. Dreamland's City Blocks for the background.
64 Mercury Parklane.
Building Her House!
A bunch of bikes.
Isn't that called...a motorcycle gang?...hehehe.
:-)
Where did you get this car? I need it!

Funny you should mention that. :-)
My (second) entry into the Stonemason competition:
Finally a 56 Chevy Nomad I was able to successfully convert in Blender, this one is off of the Russian site, N-Gine.
Looks real nice Betsy.
:-)
Thanks, I still need to put Some decent tires on it, those, those balloons that came with it are horrible!

Looks even nicer with the new tires on it!
Spotted this Philippine Jeepney on one of the GTA sites and downloaded it. Then did some research on on the Jeepney and realized these things are fascinating. As it came, it only had solid color textures. I scanned through many pages of Jeepney's on the net and spotted one that really caught my attention. So, I used the graphics from that one on the one I posted. Had to repaint part of the graphics to hide creases and shadows. Re-textured the top and reworked the other graphics on the downloaded version. Added some parts that were missing on the model. All in all, it was fun to work on. Reminded me of all the work I did one the Boston Ducks in the old forums.
Still lurking about while looking for a place to live
Oh yeah, we're still around, just things like life getting in the way!
I was having withdrawals from no car rendering so I had to stop real life stuff and kick back and bake one out. I rendered this Camaro before but I repainted it for this one.
Hmm! I guess there ain't much going on with the PC this week either, seems like a lot of un-interesting stuff, while I have a couple of items, and will compete, this weeks offerings were just lack luster!
Heres one I did the other day, for those interested, all of Nationale7's cars are on sale until the 15th.
...so here's where this thread is hanging out. Haven't made it all the way through but what I've seen so far is some amazing stuff.
Now that I have the supercharged workstation up and running. (and a lot of time on my hands as I lost my job a couple weeks ago) I can start messing about in the "garage" again.
Yeah I know, life gets in the way sometimes!
...what is the city backdrop in the first one. Looks bit "familiar".
Denver.
...almost looks like the skyline in Portland. The bridge there kind of looks like the Burnside Ave bridge.
Oh, sorry, I was referring the second pic, the first one is of Austin, Texas, the bridge is the Congress Ave. bridge, which spans Town Lake.
...OK, that's why it looks familiar. have a fellow member here on one of the other forums who lives in Austin. Thought about moving there myself to get out of the damp rainy Pacific Northwet.
I was in Austin until the fire that burnt my apartment.
Insurance has finally paid off and as of the 1st I will have a new home, surrounded by sand, mesquite, palm, and fruit tress, along with Border Patrol agents and the USMC Academy.
Get to order new computer components and build new system next month:-)
I used to live there myself, I was there for around 14 years, live in Florida now, and often wonder why I made that move!
That's good news Robert.
