Thanks, but I downloaded this and it looks to me like it's just a mod pack for a regular F1 truck that's used in a game.
There is no useable geometry file included.

Shame because it would have been perfect... cheers anyway. :)

Indeed, no useable geometry file included... maybe for you, not for me... but thanks anyway.

What your seeing is the files for the game. The file slamvan.dff needs to be converted to obj file before it can be useful in 3d graphics programs. File conversion was gone over in several messages several pages back, started on page 25 of this thread.

I have nothing that will open a .dff file.

And in the time it would take to gather Mac compatible versions of all the software you mention in your explanation starting page 25, I've started and completed the other one so that it now looks more like a 51... At least good enough for what I need it for.

As much as I do appreciate your trying to help, Pfffttt, to all that technical stuff, it's not for me. :cheese:

Ok, I think I've finished the front suspension. Did I forget anything? Do you think anything should be changed? Let me know as I plan to start on the steering in a few days.

Wow!... this is such a detailed model and it comes with 3 seat types, 10 wheel types, 5 handlebar types, 2 exhaust types, plus options for engine covers, nitro packs and turbo charger...

... and if that's not enough, it can also be loaded as a trike, a snowmobile, a streetfighter or a cruiser.

1948 Packard Standard Eight touring sedan...been working on this on and off for awhile. Correcting and changing textures, researching 1948 Packard colors and paint schemes. Car on left is Sardonyx Brown over Egyptian Sand and on the right. Serpentine Green over Golden Green.

I was just playing with the 1949 Mercury today in Poser can wanted to use something other than the Car Patio (I've used that to death, LOL).
Never could decide what to use for a background but the reflections off the car with this one looked so cool, I decided to go with it for now.

The huge skyscrapers in the background give this a nice twist. It's like a tiny little drive in, frozen in time! Kinda spooky...lol.
