Morre than three vanished. The total number of items dropped from 400 to 315. DAZ probably pulled those items that didn't have a main promo image.
Down to 302 now. The promo banner, and the promo page still hint 400 products.
LOL. Isn't this the second attempt at this sale? I checked out quickly before anything ELSE disappeared. OMG, this is not the way I like to shop. It's like guerrilla warfare or something. Hit and run!
Llynara, are you taking chances with poser objects in Studio, or do you use Poser too?
Both! I have Poser 11 Pro. I'm not great at it, but learning. I do use a lot of Poser items in DAZ without too much trouble. Some materials need tweaking. Usually it's worth it though. Some Poser-only characters aren't rigged for DAZ at all. I was able to get S1M Scarlet into DAZ. She bends kind of funny, but here she is in Iray with her Angelic Armor and Feathered Wings for All. Those are the original textures too (click for full pic):

I suppose as I am starting to learn how to do object modeling, in the worst case if an item in .obj format doesn't work right, I could still use it as a base for making a more DAZ compatible version, at least for personal use.
I'm just not quite there, yet.
This stuff, cheap as it is, is still too costly for me to bother fixing it for Daz. There are a few items that I like the look of. But, I'll wait and see if they get the problems ironed out. A few of those 3DS models could really sell well on here if the PA does a Daz version. I love the old Corvette.

The ones that were pulled from my cart haven't returned. Oh well, probably saving me some money.
I'm kind of bummed because I loaded The Colliseum for Poser and it's REALLY low res. I'm used to working with old models, it doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure this one is even usable in DAZ. I tried reshading it, and that looked awful too. I don't think it's going to look any better in Poser, but I'll give it a whirl.
I was worried about that from the promos. The Poser Mill and the Cloister look good in Iray though. The Chateau wll need some work.

Okay, here's the really weird thing about The Colliseum. It looks bad in Poser Firefly but halfway decent in Superfly. I have no clue why that would be the case. This stuff is probably almost as old as the original colliseum, LOL. Just for fun, I'm going to try rendering it in 3Delight, just in case there's something good there. I'll post the results on my art thread.
That makes sense to me. Firefly is a very biased renderer, where as superfly is a version of the cycles renderer which is more unbiased and professional grade. Kinda like how many 3DL products look better in IRAY in general.

Maybe with some better texture and bump maps, it could be usable in other render engines, but for now I would only recommend this product for Superfly, and only for distance shots. Anything close up falls apart because of the low res textures.
What are you seeing, Horus, I see the items in blowout with 80+% off.
It's a bit hard for me to check since I don't know what items changed their price. But so far everything looks like about 84% off which is pretty darned good.
Is it correct that the Base Centaur G3F is only 30% off, while the Starter and Pro bundles are 51%?

Could be, I don't recall as I wishlisted Ophelia, although Ophelia and both bundles are at 51% off right now (but I don't recall the price at introduction). Doesn't really matter for this one, since the Base at 51% and the items I really want work out only a few dollars cheaper than the reduced Pro bundle. It just seemed odd/yet another sign of higher prices overall if it's correct.
There's no artist listed! How strange is that? Centaur 7 for Genesis 3 Male(s) shows up as a Daz Original with the DO 30% discount for PC members. Seems the female counterpart should also be listed as a Daz Original, which would mean an additional 30% off for members.
Really hoping for an extra banner or discount of some kind for being an buyer of the Centaur 7 Male bundle. I can dream...

I was willing to gamble on Centaur 7 for G3M in case I might use it some day due to the discount. I had actually planned to buy Centaur 7 for G3F, but the discount seems very miserly. Not willing to gamble at today's prices. Too bad. Oh, well, I'd probably never use her anyway. It's probably my desire to collect things that would prompt the buy.
