    I forgot to bring sauce for the nuggets I brought to the program.

    I need to set up my desktop again.  I want to start rendering again.  I just got Kiri 9.  I want to play with Genesis 9 again.

    Dreams are OK. Philosophy perhaps, as long as it doesn't turn into politics or religion.

    Non-complaint:  During today's mini-adventure I noticed that the principal 2-lane road through this town toward the city had been newly blacktopped.  Nice clean blackness with just yellow dots down the middle in preparation for proper painting of the centerline(s).  On the way back I noticed that they were still finishing the shoulders along the southside of the road.  Looks like the road is now a bit wider than it used to be.  Cool!cool 

    Non-complaint:  Grocery shopping today resulted in three big bags-o-stuff.  No cherries though.  I guess the season is over.  But I did get three kiwis (Mmmm... fuzzy & green), also bananas and apples, and although I like a good watermelon, I couldn't see lugging one (or even half of one) home in an Uber, so I just bought a good sized plastic container with pre-chopped chunks each about an inch cube.  (Mmm... sweet watermelon.)heart  Seasonal craving sated, without the mess.yes  Grocery is selling pumpkins again already.  I could have gotten two beautiful big ones for $5, but again lugging them home in an Uber was not in my schedule.indecision

    Complaint:  I didn't buy any snacks, unless you consider pickles a snack,​  I don't.cheeky  They're just part of my late night ritual.  (Mmm... a Vlasic kosher dill pickle spear before bed.)heart  Gettin' old sucks:  No chips, no puddings, no cookies, no chocolate.  Doctor is threatening me with insulin.frown  However, my weight has continued to drift downward.  Back under 200 again.smiley

    Non-complaint:  More roadwork:  Wheee... The State road crew came through town again today.  This time the big blacktopping machine was working the northside shoulder of the road.  I don't think I can stand all this excitement.indecision  Smooth, jet black roadway now all the way from this town, westward into the city and through to the far side, franchise row, mall area, and perhaps beyond to the terminus at Westfield on Lake Erie. smiley

    Complaint:  Unfortunately, there's a spot of about a mile within the early part of the city that will always fall apart within a year.  Poor substrate, never properly fixed.  Buses and Ubers avoid it when it gets bad.  Ever since I was a kid (i.e. the last 70 years) that section of road is just covered over then falls apart after the first winter, with major cracks & potholes.  That whole section needs to be completely dug out, proper drainage put in, and a proper substrate built through that area.  But I'll never see it happen.frown

    A Few Hours Later

    Wheee... More excitement.  The blacktopping machine and its attendant truck just came back through, backing up all the way, picking up the traffic cones.  They must be good drivers to drive that massive machine backwards several miles, close enough to the line of cones for the guy on the back to grab them as they go by.  Cool!cool

    I read somewhere that everytime you see a person in your dreams that it's a someone you have seen in real life, even if only in passing, since the human mind cannot make up faces. I've always wondered how much truth there is to that; if any.

    I've read that as well. I wonder if 3D models count as human faces?

    Well, you're not supposed to be able to read things in dreams, either, and I do that all the time.

    Considering the thousands upon thousands of people we see, I'd think this would be a really hard theory to prove or disprove.
