Laticis Imagery delivers as usual.
His new LI Space Cadet Hair for Genesis 9 is just gorgeous.

It might be too early in a day, and I might be grumpy, but can someone explain to me how these are braids? I know English isn't the first language for many PAs (it isn't for me either), but dictionaries exist. You wouldn't make a model of a car and call it a bicycle, then why hair is allowed to be inaccurate and misleading?

Those are, to my mind, pigtails.
I actually like https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-elegant-double-braids-hair-for-genesis-9
The hairline in front is very nice and looks great.
Some creators does not care so much about hairline,
but for me it is very important.
Too bad, I have already purchased many hairs with the pigtails,
so this one goes to my wishlist at the moment.
well I did a google to see if there was a variation renamed that but everyone had some form of braiding either in the tails or scalp even just a small section. Lokking hard at the promos can's see any unless and this is stretching it it is where her hair is knotted as it appears twisted using her hair and not wearing hair ties like some do. Magic Brush has done some nice hair styles looking at them
Stonemason's Sunset Motel was an instabuy for me. I only had time for a quick render, but this looks like a great addition to what appears to be a 50s/60s American town. I hope we see more along this theme.
Oh, if i could have my druthers, I would love your take on
an American Amusement Park in the Disneyland vein: https://www.thedisneyclassics.com/blog/main-street-dedication-windows
Something in the Frank LLoyd Wright/ Greene and Greene style: https://gamblehouse.org whether optimistic or more Blade Runner like https://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/homed/houses/117473970/frank-lloyd-wrights-blade-runner-house-sells-for-28-million
A drive-in the Googie/ Atomic age; your dinner hints at the earliet period but a later version would work well with your suburbs set
Something like Desert Cyc in the desert of california which has been used in loads of photos: https://www.instagram.com/weesespiecesstudio/?hl=en
Something in that exagerated Chrysler Building/ Art Deco style; I dream of a skyscraper in the style of the Hope Memorial Bridge
And, of course, some Maxfield Parrish architecture like the type that inspired the buildings in the Wizard of Oz and Wicked such as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maxfield_Parrish#/media/File:Dinky_Bird_by_Maxfield_Parrish,_1904.jpg and one of his models: https://sothebys-com.brightspotcdn.com/dims4/default/80f5286/2147483647/strip/true/crop/1450x1221+0+0/resize/684x576!/format/webp/quality/90/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsothebys-brightspot.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fdotcom%2F2c%2F58%2Fa57120aa49b683e7e6d26d9f5193%2Fmaxfield-parrish-romance-model.jpg
Thank you for letting me vent.
An amusement park is seriously lacking in the Daz store. The carnival ride assets (helter skelter, cups, ferris wheel, children's coaster, etc) are well over 10 years. I have no idea how someone could do a rollercoaster right. But mostly a high quality "Entrance to cool ride" asset would be awesome. A multistage funhouse (sliding floors, rotating cylinder room, tilting room, warped mirrors room, etc) would be cool.
I buy anything that hints of late 1800s through mid 20th century. There are numerous "fallen"/"ruined"/"destroyed" items that would be from that period, but ... I'm looking for environments of that time that are still nice and in everyday use.
not wanting to derail this thread so created a new one:

New PA for me. How are the shoes (or their other shoes) in action? They look good.

Really...a body "suit" ? I have a different perspective of a suit, but this sure ain't it.... Asking again for the option to block certain PA's. I asked before, but that got deleted, because it might be offensive to certain PA"s. The fact that this is offensive to others makes no never mind to Daz.
it could have been worse
Hope the title of the thread looks better now
You edited it between my opening the thread and my going to fix it - thanks. Just be glad the heat hasn't so addled me that I added another r.
Yes, I’d also like to be able to block certain PAs. It’s completely pointless to keep showing me their products over and over again – I’m never going to buy them anyway.
Hi, sorry for that. Just want to help a little.
There are a couple of hair artists that put up some really nice hair models but misname them constantly. There was another the other day that stated "curly" ... there was barely a wave in the hair and hardly curly. I've taken to not buying hair that's misnamed like that. If your from another country and do not understand simple terms like straight, curly, wavy, braids, pig tails... then reach out to someone that knows and that will help you name your hair product correctly. While it's silly, it's also ignorant and annoying. PS. I'm a hairdresser in the real world so this really bugs me! LOL
A block or hide function would honestly be really useful. Not in a harsh or negative way, but after a while it becomes exhausting scrolling through the same kinds of products every single day.
For me a lot of things start blending together, and weeks pass where it feels like nothing genuinely new has come out. There are PAs releasing multiple characters every week using the same Merchant Resource textures and morphs over and over again, the growing amount of blantant and undisclosed AI generated/assisted environments, outfit parts and props, endless pose packs, and a few creators asking for feedback while only seeming receptive when it’s praise. There are also stores focused entirely on this "bodysuits"/skimpwear, or the nonstop stream of teenage looking girl characters. Being able to hide creators or categories I already know aren’t for me would make it much easier to discover content I’d actually be interested in.
None of these things are inherently bad, and clearly there’s an audience for all of it. The issue is simply that it becomes harder to filter through everything and find more original or varied content. Some days the shop might barely show me any new products at all, and honestly, I’d be completely fine with that.
