Got the idea from another post ..... Is there a way generate a list of core figures for G8? G3? G2? I want to stock up on whatever I have missing put when I do a search, I get other things besides the base characters. I get hair, clothing, etc.

(As I think that while they changed the way they did bundles late in the G8 era into the G8.1 era, I think all the G3 and G2 characters had an associated "Pro Bundle", so you can search by that)
As I say in my post, it misses a lot of late G8.
Don't quote me on this, but I think Honni was the last G8 to have a straight "Pro Bundle", and after that it moves into things like Tara 8's "World Adventurer Bundle" and Holt 8's "Wild West Bundle".
Wouldn't "Bundles Only" Figure = G8M,G8F,G8.1M,G8.1F, and Artist = Daz Originals find all the "Daz character bundles"?

LIST OF G8 CORE FIGURES WITH 1+ THEME BUNDLES (below)
This may or may not be complete. I made it by a search based on @jmucchiello's suggestion above. I selected Characters/Human from Categories (upper left dropdown on main store page), then sorted by Artist=Daz Originals, G8 male and female, Bundles only. I also sorted High to Low, since most large character bundles will be near the top, and unchecked Hide Items I own to lessen the chances I missed a figure.
Note some of these have a second Theme bundle that doesn't include the figure. (Like a G9 add-on bundle but more content.) Originally Daz had the figure in multiple theme bundles, but buyers objected to what they thought of as having to pay twice for the figure. I didn't include those bundles in my list but most of them have the figure as part of the bundle name (e.g. Millawa 8 Cryomancer Bundle) so a search for the figure will show them.

Characters are morphs and need a base figure.
Figures do not need a morph to work inside DAZ studio.

They inexplicably deleted the 8 and 8.1 versions.
Despite slightly mixed terminology, I would say context (asking about things "for G8", "G3", etc) makes it clear that the OP meant Core Characters (not Base Figures).
To clear up some slightly nebulous terminology:
Base figure: The underlying framework upon which characters are built. This includes Genesis 9, Genesis 8 Female, Genesis 3 Male, etc. It gets more complicated pre-Genesis when the base figure itself was also a character, such as Victoria 4 and before.
Core character: A premium character made by Daz's own in-house team, usually accompanied by a high profile launch and bundle releases. These characters tend to get more shape support on clothing releases. These characters follow a "Name-Number" format, and this list includes Victoria 9, Michael 8, Eva 7, Monique 6, David 5 etc.
Until Genesis 8.1, it was expected that there would be at least a few characters released that specifically built upon core characters as their underlying shape.
Daz Originals character: These naturally include the core characters, but a lot of characters published under the Daz Originals banner are not considered Core characters, even if they may get a high profile release and bundles (Caryn and Tobyn are examples, even in spite of some vendors mistakenly referring to them in add-ons as "Caryn 8" and "Tobyn 8") . These are characters made by vendors which Daz themselves have bought the full copyright to, rather than characters specifically made in-house or under commission as the core characters are. These characters instead follow a "Name for Base Figure" format.
Huh, I never even noticed the change. Daz did the reverse with a few G8 figures, too. Tara 8 and Underbelly 8 only got the 8 after their releases. I have no idea why.

@acb: the only problem with searching for Pro, is that in the later G8 era (& the entire G8.1 era) Daz switched from Pro bundles toTheme bundles - cyberpunk, Christmas, Vikings, etc. So a search for Pro misses those figures. See my post above, with 14 core figures, not included in your results. You, or anybody else, is welcome to edit them in. (It is possible I missed some.)

Cool! And it looks like you found some I missed, like Underbelly 8. I also didn't list the bundles that don't include the figure.
