    You're right! The price goes up. It is limited to 5 items per cart.

    It is best to reword the ad but that's not gonna happen on a weekend. We are "abandoned"!

    This is one of the bugs in the store at the moment. It works for some people apparently but not others so rewording the ad is not the way to go. Other people are having different issues but they all seem to revolve around the 2.99 products. As the DAZ staff can't replicate any of these errors, and they are not the same for everyone, troubleshooting a fix will probably be a nightmare.

    To add some info regarding this illusive issue. The $2.99 deal worked for me three days ago as advertised. It didn't work for me two days ago (item kept reverting to full price with a paid, debut new item in cart and no freebies). I didn't try to use it yesterday even to test. Today, it once again worked as advertised. So I wonder for those of us that are having issues if alternate days are part of the puzzle. Works fine one day, not the next, then it works, etc.

    Adding to what I mentioned earlier, today the $2.99 deal worked as advertised and I made a purchase. I went back now to test it and I cannot get the "new item" discount to work on the offer. A new, paid item raises the $2.99 item to $9.95. With no new item, the $2.99 reappears. I suspect in about 23 hours, it will work again.

    But I didn't make yesterday's purchase until 8:10 DazTime. So, it'll be awhile. Surely someone else can go ere that.

    +1   This was back this morning, around 3am. I got the prices correctly until I added a new release, then they all went up!  So I just took the new release out of the cart. This really does the opposite of what DAZ would want, folks NOT buying new releases.   I did test it and it did that with and without the freebies, so they didn't have an effect on the problem.  I don't know if it's still doing it.

    And what was with the Cloudfare for an hour or more? Anyone else get that in the wee hours of the morning?  My gateway is Atlanta and it said Daz servers were the issue. Did they take the site down to fix all these errors? (Curious.)

    $2.99 items still at $9.95 in the cart.   I cleared the cart, logged out and added them and they were $2.99.  Logged in  to checkout and they were back to $9.95.
    However, if I add a new item they go to $2.09...

    I just tried signing out, repopulating my account, and I still get $9.95 with a new item and $2.99 with no other items.

    Hmmm, tested it. Which raises a question. As I said, earlier I bought three things and got the discount. I'm allowed to buy as many as I want if I have a new release in the cart, so I just put one in and it didn't work- so the fact I bought earlier shouldn't have anything to do with it, right? (And I didn't get as many as allowed, AND there's nothing saying it only works once because as long as you buy a new release, you can buy as many as you want.)  So not to introduce another issue, but if it's working for WandW and not for me, I wonder if that kink is also in the system. 

    I don't want these, I'm just testing the cart for you

    No, unfortunately that doesn't seem to be it (in my case at least).

    I successfully placed an order that included one $2.99 item yesterday - 15.33 Sat 21 Dec my time (08.33 Sat 21 Dec Daz time). The $2.99 items haven't been working for me all day today (unless I put a new item in the cart) and it's now 22.10 Sun 22 Dec my time (15:10 Sun 22 Dec Daz time) - i.e. coming up to 31 hours later.

    Actually, I meant to say 47 hours later. I think it is every other 24 hours that this seems to work.

    I gave the DIM a try again, the two orders I did today are still not showing.  I mean it's fine, they were freebies, but still...  I have the feeling that would happen with a paid purchase as well.

    Small print says   "* Usable once per customer. New Release must be priced over $1. Items must be in cart simultaneously for discount to apply."

    We've been spending so much time back and forth trying to get this weird bug sorted out that I think I almost know the sale page text off by heart.

    We have flagged this for Daz, but in the meantime they are listing in the Product Library so you can download from theer and place the zip in the Install Manager Package Archive, the Downloads folder, from whence DIM will be able to install it through the Ready to Install tab.

    So, I did not buy any of the 2.99 items yesterday.  I put six in today and and it's all working fine right now.  PC+, 30% discount.
