This is the first time you have used the offer today?
I wonder if that is connected to whether people are in Platinum Club or not, and what level of holiday loyalty discount they have.
For what it's worth, I'm in Platinum Club, I've a loyalty discount of 30%, and my errors are as shown in screenshots above: The items that should be €2.99 are actually €9.95 unless there's a new item in the cart, at which point they drop to €2.09 / €2.10.
Does anyone with the same profile (PC, 30%) still have different errors?
Edited to add: Yes - it's the first time using the offer today. (Actually haven't used it yet because of the faulty prices.) However, I did successfully put through separate orders for the Chritmas freebies (thanks PAs!) and some of today's select artists which had the correct 65% discount plus my additional 30% loyalty bonus so 76% discount overall. That was done in between the $2.99 cart errors - i.e. the $2.99 cart wasn't working so I dumped it, did the freebie and today's select artist orders and then tried the $2.99 cart again which still wasn't working.
I'm PC with the same discount and have Exactly the opposite error. Items in the cart are 2.99 until I put a new item in my cart when they all go to the same higher price 9.95, 10.95 etc.
If that questions is for me then no. It started on the 20th and has been the same for the last two days as well. I cannot get the over 5 items at 2.99 (should be less with the extra 20% discount) no matter what I do. As indicated as soon as I add another item the prices go up so I have resigned myself to just buying 5 items per day at 2.99.
Edit - still a great deal but not what was advertised.
I have a 30% deal and I'm getting the same issues: only drops to $2.09 if I buy a new item. Rather than deal with refunds I will just hold off on buying anything. Don't seem to have any issues wit the free items. Grabbed those and then tried a separate cart with $2.99 items but still not working so giving up for today.
Yes, that's true - and it's not just when in the cart. On the ordinary sales page, the full range of €2.99 items to choose from are displaying at $9.95 for me (although this requires different discounts to bring their various prices to that point). This doesn't change when they go into the cart (unless a new item is added to bring them to €2.09/$2.10).
It was to anyone, and specifically for today - the offer is usable once per day.
While it's the first time I've (tried to) use the offer today, it has worked fine for me in previous days, with < 5 items for $2.99 each. I don't know what would have happened with a new item/over 5 items on those days as I didn't try it.
ok, let's make things clear, when i first looked to that product, it was "after" the sales changes" after the 00:00 it was 2 hours after the new sales come, then after check and report i decided go to sleep then when i wake up today indeed the price changed again
To clarify, it has worked in the past but stopped working on the 20th and hasn't worked since. I've tried the last 3 days with the same result so troubleshooting might be narrowed down to what was done to alter the sales process on the 20th.
Strange that it works properly if you are logged out. More than five $2.99's and a new release reduces them to $2.39 and -20% off the new one, as advertised, but not when logged in.
It's frustrating for us to be unable to be unable to recreate the problem to show Daz. Can just imagine what it is for you guys. But when it works for some and not for others, it's a real conundrum. I just tried another cart. Items are 2.99 and lower when I add a new item.
And I'd already bought four of them earlier.
Yes, I can confirm that is the same for me.
Logged out, the sales page shows all items at $9.95 but they are $2.99 in the cart and reduce to $2.39 when a new item is added.
Logged in, it's back to the error - $9.95 each on the sales page and in the cart unless a new item is added, when they go down to $2.09 (because of the 30% loyalty bonus being higher than the 20% extra discount).
Did I misunderstand? How are you adding things already bought to your cart? Are you logged out?
This has been quite frustrating with the $2.99 items at $9.95. Will this be fixed today?
I can even go into incognito, not logged in, place one in the cart for $2.99. Login and it's $9.95. I've bought nothing today.

I believe there are actually two offers, one of five items for $2.99 and one of any number of items for $2.99 with a new release - though of course if you can get any number with the second offer the first is redundant. So the issue where one version works and the other doesn't is not, perhaps, so surprising in itself though it's no less of a mystery why different people have different combinations of works/doesn't work.
Yup. Showing up at $2.99 but when I log in, goes back to $9.95. Very frustrating as there are some very nice items I would have liked to acquire at this great sale price.
i think that was exactly the same issue i was having yesterday, the price was one in the page then when adding to the cart it become another higher than the page price.
The $2.99 deal for the day is not working for me, either. I haven't bought anything yet today, It goes in the cart and stays at $9.95.
Did anyone else have a problem with today's free items not showing up in DIM after checkout? I clicked download and install. but when DIM opens there isn't anything in the "ready to download" section.
Not just the free items. Nothing I've bought today shows up in DIM. Tried on two different computers.

Same here, neither my purchase, nor todays' presents show up in DIM. There's other people experiencing the same in another thread.
What I do find noticable, is that DIM logs in way faster than usual, but after logging in hangs for a while searching for stuff to download (as usual). Just nothing shows up.
I wonder whether it's possible that the sales didn't properly propagate to the server handling the downloads, or something like that.
Could be server overload too I suppose. An everyone downloading things at the same time scenario.

DIM doesn't find them though, so that seems to be a persistant problem.
I was able to download freebies this morning. Over the last week, exactly one item would not appear in the cart at $2.99: Predatron's lo-res skeleton set. I didn't think to drop in here to mention it. :( Another time, I guess.
The image I showed was the first attempt at adding stuff to my cart since my purchase yesterday, with the exception of the freebies, which I added to the cart and then purchased before trying out the other stuff. I wonder if that's important?
