Honestly, with the amount of 'If That Then This' statements built into the current sales scenarios I'm amazed the store software hasn't run away crying. Someone said in another thread that if this happened at Amazon the would be a major outcry. My response is if Amazon tried to run a sale like DAZ do their site would probably be down for days.
Not being an apologist, just that I think DAZ are tying themselves up in knots. I've benefited greatly from the discounts so I'm torn between wishing they would simplify and being grateful for the low prices.
Having the same problem as above, no Rynne banner.
Same here (Tennessee). I do have the Rynne banner, though. These problems have become daily, haven't they? I mean, between sales not working at first for a large portion of the days, the incessant "page not found" when clicking on items from the main product listing or email. They have certainly lost sales from me because the promotion didn't work and I didn't have time to check for a workaround....which, a store really shouldn't require workarounds...

The sales are def too complicated. A part of me likes complex sales: they appeal to the gamesman in me, seeing how ot stack things for the greatest total discount. But I'm nothing resembling "average" and DAZ should take my comments as what not to do. Wiz likes it? Yank that sucker.
But the part of me that likes the complex sales gets really, really ticked when they break. Maybe 10% of the time I put in a ticket, the other 90% I just dump my cart. I hope DAZ's analytics show them how many people dump their carts, because that number is incredibly important.

I'm seeing the exact opposite - up-to-5 items doesn't work (full price with nothing else in cart) but adding a new release and it works for any number of items (both less and more than 5).
I don't own Rynne 8 and have no banner, don't know if that matters.
Just to add my two cents to the cart issue. I do not have Rynne 8. I do not have a banner. Not long after Daz Midnight, I purchased a new item and about 10 of the 2.99 deal and it worked for me.
Well, to add to the confusion.
If I add a "2.99" item to my cart without a new item it lists as 2.99.
And if I then add a new item it lists as 10.95
I think people had noted that the up to 5 items was working. What I am trying to get is the more than 5 items and extra 20% with a new item working, still not playing ball yet.
I do not want to sound like a broken record, but it is at the 12 hour mark and I have not even heard that the RSSY clothing converter problem has been reported ... much less actually worked on. I recognize we are near a major holiday. I recognize there are other problems happening in Daz World. But these items have been on my wishlist for awhile and now seems a good time to purchase. Thank you.

What new item? Is it free or over $1. It works for me with a paid new item; but may not work with the free iones.
Same issue with a paid Debut new item. The $2.99 one reverts to $10.95.
I am having same issue. New item is https://www.daz3d.com/briareth-hair-for-genesis-8-females. $2.99 item is https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-modern-romantique-outfit-for-genesis-3-and-8-females. Added https://www.daz3d.com/dd-risa-for-rynne-8 and https://www.daz3d.com/alt-robyn-8 as new items, and same problem. Same with other $2.99 items.
$2.99 items by themselves works, but I'd like to get the additional discount.
See attached. 5 items at 2.99. Add a new release and the prices jump to 10.95 for me.

I, too, cannot get the 2.99 sale to function correctly. 4 items are fine, 5 items with or without a new release are not.
I ran into the same issue today… I can only get up to five $2.99 items, and as soon as I add a New Release they jump up to $10.95
I think this issue is only affecting those of us who own Rynne 8 and have the Purple Banner.
My workaround is just to purchase my New Releases in one transaction and the $2.99 items in another, although I lose the 20% additional discount off those items.
I do not own Rynne, and have no purple banner. It seems to be broadly broken.
It’s a bummer that the problem is so widespread, yet a fix has not yet come for it, and it’s probably costing Daz lost revenue in sales.
I did try opening another browser and did not log in and the discount seemed to work correctly once I added a New Release the Holiday Countdown Items dropped to $2.39 each. But, once I logged-in the $2.99 prices jumped back up to $10.95 although the new release showed the proper discount.
I was also disappointed to see that the g8f to g3f clothing converter was not included.
Someone of you bought a gift card with the extra 10% off from the purple banner today?
I know that the store calculates the result differently when adding those percentages together, but to be sure, should it really only be 28% in the end?
Example: A gift card for $500 costs $360 not $350.

500*0.8*0.9=360, so that is correct.
Yes. The extra 10% are taken from what's left after the 20% discount, so you remove 10% of 80% of the original price, which is 8%.
Of course the bigger sale on gift cards comes the day after I buy one...
Thanks, I already thought - but hoped otherwise - they calculate it in this way too.
