i'm shopping for Metallica audio dvd.  one new one listed on amazon @ 195.00 and case has a crack in it.

wanted to ask a question if the mp3 version is as good as the audio dvd, surround sound an everything. but there is no option to ask the question on amazon detail page.

i want to lay on the floor surrounded by speakers and listen.

Unless that DVD is gold plated and has autographs from the entire band on it...nope, not worth that kind of money!  Even then...

...many years ago I was eyeing the complete organ works of J.S. Bach performed by Marie Claire Alain. 15 disks, price was something like 225$.  Now I can get it for under 50$ on the same label.

I was going to suggest that, but I thought that KK probably doesn't have a data plan.

BEER n pepperoni pizza like magikal combo

    FRIDAY !!

  • kyoto kidkyoto kid Posts: 40,825

..for me that would be the magical combo for a restless night as well as a bottle of antacid tabs.

Now Sausage, Mushroom, and Onion pizza with a good IPA, that's different.

...hmm, may go out for pizza tonight.if the weather lightens up.

membring when my friday night was shopping the old pc items, the 1.99 days, then installing it all, sipping white wine, my buppy laying on the bed watching me sit at pewter
    exe installers (doh)

is prolly time to reinvent friday night relaxing time.  ...

Not terrifying at all.  Well, not any more terrifying than standing at the windows at the top of a skyscraper.  However, I'd be petrified if I were driving a car on a road like that.  But the tracks kind of make it seem a whole lot more reliable.  After all, trains generally go where the tracks go.

Iz a real cold southerly wind off the bay here complaint, not the best kinda day to go wandering along the beach but there's something seductive about the deep waters and elongated swell of a wintery ocean :)

Morning. New day dawning on a so far cloudless eggshell blue sky bleached white where the sun is peeking over rooftops :)

American robin's egg blue here. What lays blue eggs down unda?

I don't know about Austraila's feathered beasties, but up here on the top side of the world I'm pretty sure all birds lay eggs down under.  Never saw one pop one out of its mouth. cheeky

..ahh the Adirondack run to Montreal.

My favourite ride, back when trains were still classy  (southbound Afternoon Hiawatha at the Milwaukee Station).

    Those are some cool trains!

The Texas Eagle was a great route, I took it fro L.A. to Austin, but it  runs to Chicago.  Great observation car, pretty comfy seats, and some  AMAZING scenery between L.A. and El Paso.  I'd like to take a month off and just ride the train all over.. le sigh.
