Today I especially like Laticis Imagery's Freebie 'LI Choker & Pendants for Genesis 9'. https://www.daz3d.com/li-choker--pendants-for-genesis-9 Thanks a lot!

In case you don't know about it, Falcontruth also offers a display case as a freebie on Renderosity or Renderhub, which could be a nice addition to the frame and display cases you just bought.

Many thanks, @Elor! Downloaded and had a look at it. IMO it is a great addition to the very useful https://www.daz3d.com/metropolitan-museum: (the freebie is on the right):

If you're looking for more display cases,  https://www.daz3d.com/i13-clothing-boutique-interior has one... it isn't a freebie, but it's often cheap.

You know that saying, 'There is always another sale!' or something along that line? Well last year there was a pair of items released that really impressed me but finances didn't match up to buying them at the time. Today, I struck gold.

    https://www.daz3d.com/ffs-tlt-cameras-with-poses-for-genesis-9-

The Artemis might be a niche item but I can use it, and the cameras and poses are really well done. Thank you to nEO and FeralFey.

    Mary

Thank you! That is very kind of you to say. *Blushes* I had a blast working on these sets. Neo did an amazing job with the modeling and the texturing, and I couldn't help but make poses for them. The cameras and anchor system I developed were during my time working on these sets. I'm so glad that the cameras are getting used!! This really made my day! Thank you!!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't really have a use for display cases (at the moment, anyway)... I just remembered seeing that one in the i13 set when I was harvesting it for other things. I'm sure someone else will find the rec handy, though!

Just jumping on here to say thanks AM for the goats! I'll be buying https://www.daz3d.com/goat-by-am-bundle later today.

I am an educator, not an artist, and my big project right now involves visualizing life in ancient southwest Asia — for which goats are a must! I’d been using older models and kitbashed solutions previously. This will enliven my choices!

You and the other fellas you are all welcome. Cheers.

Is there a trick to changing the textures of the fur? I can change the texture on the goat itself, but not the fur. When I load the wearable fur it is the standered white. Try to change it though and it is black, no mater what color I try. It also tels me that it can't find this file /data/DAZ 3D/Built-in Content/OmniSurface/OmniHair Root-Tip Blend.dsf

If you load the Goat character, which comes with a white coat, if you the Goat bundle, then you go to Materials/Adult and there you can load the one you need.

As I remember, it didn't work in Smart Content, so I went to the product to find it. Haven't really investigated why.

What version of Daz Studio are you using? The OmniHair Shader was introduced in version 4.22.0.16  I believe. And you have to make sure you've updated the Default Resources, too.

That doesn't seem to work. I do have the bundle. When I go into the surfaces tab I can't even find the texture I want to use. Though it is listed in with all the textures used on the image I'm creating. The only way I'm able to change the color is to manualy place it in the Diffused Color slot while the white coat is loaded.

    I have DAZ Studio 4.24 loaded but the /data/DAZ 3D/Built-in Content/OmniSurface/OmniHair Root-Tip Blend.dsf file can't be found.

You need to update the Default Resources package by the sound of it - that is, download a fresh copy and install it (if you use Install manager or install through DS itself you should see the new version/updates as being available)..

If anyone has bought Eastern Pangea, can you tell me if the background/?hdr is included? It's set to the east of where I live and while the Moai and coconuts are not present here, the river, fern flora and background are very similar and would be good for my NZ scenes.

Thank you, I never remember I can check the file list. and now I'm sad because I really wanted that background.

I would say the promos are a little misleading, because it is not clear what you get, and the background has a significant role in the images.

    My guess is it's included!

    But, it's not an HDRI.

If you look closely at each promo image, it's always the same mountains in the background. That suggests it's a 2d texture acting as a billboard (always facing the camera) but rendered behind all the 3d geometry. That's probably why the camera angle/height is similar between promo renders, and why the fog planes are used to add some variety.

I do feel that way, I really wish the PA had either not used it, or had at least indicated it was not included.

I do wish this was the case but as Elor indicated and I then checked, it's not listed in the file list. I might be considered silly to be so disappointed but it's so hard to find anything that looks like our mountain native bush, complete with glowering sky.

I wanted to highlight two of my 15 purchases for style.

Sveva's https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-hot-caribbean-nights-for-genesis-9 which is simply lovely. Sexy and real, and with the heat dome over the world right now, I am happy to dress 3D ladies in it.

IH Kang's https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-hnc25-mens-office-outfits-for-genesis-9 for the guys. Look at the collars on the shirt and jacket. Nice and crisp. Just wish the jacket had a zipped up version. Regardless, I also plan to use a buttery, camel leather shader on the jacket. So many ways I can change it.

I don't suppose you could create your own in Bryce or Vue, I am not familiar with the terrain and climate or would I have a go in Carrara

Nvidia pulled their HDR site sadly https://build.nvidia.com/shutterstock/edify-360-hdri-early-access

is this the sort of thing you are after? https://locationtextures.com/panoramas/hawaii-beach-0177-30k-hdri/

A real surprise for me today is E3D Asha https://www.daz3d.com/e3d-asha-hd-for-genesis-9. She's in today's HoliDAZ Deals for $2.99 ($1.79 for me with Premier and 3 punches). Everything about this product is top-quality, and for a crazy-good deal price.

You were curious to see how characters would look in the Polish Tropical Club environment. Since I got the bundle the other day and saw your post, I figured I could render something that might be of interest to you.

What you can see is the view offered by the first of fifteen cameras included with the Polish Tropical Club product. I loaded the set and a render settings preset that comes with the product, which uses the Sun-Sky environment mode and basically adds some bloom via the bloom filter. Then I loaded those two base Genesis 8 females, gave them their clothes, hairs and poses, simulated the scene and rendered it. Nothing else is included in the scene.

Thank you so very much! That's perfect and to the point. I wanted to see how much the lighting affected the characters and if they looked flat or had depth. I must say, your image is Jumbotronic! Thanks again for your kindness.
