I'm really quite cross about the gallery image embedding being broken, but I've gone a little bit nuts with the new version of Mechasar's Beverly (although I've mixed the morph around a little and thrown on Tara 9's Succubus materials) and have a load of renders that need posting, so let's struggle through with the attachment upload.
Most of these also have other stuff that I've not yet rendered properly (some recent purchases, others less so), so I'll link those too.
(I will note in the name of openness that I've also used some of my normal tricks to improve the fit of clothing; what you see here is not using the included solutions and isn't representative of them).
I had a little music challenge come up and thought I'd render some images out this week (with post work) for a music video for my song. I got Vyk Leanan for Girl 8 recently and she just seemed like an appropriate cute character for this project. I did change up her materials a bit. Also used some other recent buys from a little outside the 2 month window.
The song's simple, mellow, folksy. Its about nurturing ourselves, so those good things inside us will bloom. It's night time in the images - symbolizing a time of quiet and solitude and self-reflection that allows for self-nurture and this blossoming inner garden.

Oooh, I liked that, both the music and the visuals! You have such a lovely voice really. And the dolly watering flowers on the moon is adorable.

tsroemi Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. There are just so many cute/adorable things in the store - I always want to do more with those, so I always feel extra good when I finally do.
Now everybody, pretty sure we've all bought stuff in the Outlet Store and probably some more things in the Memorial Day Sale, so I hope we'll see all your new buy renders in here!! I know I've got more than a few items to install and test out...
Trying to get myself back into a mode of creating art stuff - I've been away for a long time. I just realized that I have posted only one thing in my gallery since January! Anyway, this is just more fine-tuning of one of my story WIP characters using some recently acquired new stuff:
Not that you can tell from this, but the pose was also from a recently acquired set. https://www.daz3d.com/idg-portrait-studio-2
Gets honorable mention as it was pretty close to being in the time window, and I haven't done a lot of Daz stuff lately.
I still have no idea what nearly all of the roughly one gazilion options in the Omni Suite do, but I did do a bunch of random twiddling with them here.. It's the Hot Mess hair with Omni Suite color as I tinkered my way toward trying to get a natural red of this shade, which can be kind of elusive. It's also the eyebrow color but that's a work in progress as I try to find the right reddish-brown shade that this figure's eyebrows shouold be.
I really like this furry coat add-on.
Of course this isn't Lauryn. I buy almost all of the human G9 core characters, but I don't use them as characters - I use them for their parts: their skin, eyes and shapes. She is constructed using the Lauryn skin with the base color set of this particular character substituted.
These aren't new outfits, as these are sets I'd already modified for the Genesis 8 centaurs which I've quickly made a clone to refit to the Genesis 9 centaurs, but I figure people were expecting some horse from me regardless.
You guys are absolutely right and my role models for today, enough with the slacking off! I'll try and render something today as well. Paula, how did you feel the LI cape behaved? It's pretty resource-heavy I've realized, and I'm kinda scared to try it on my poor little laptop
I hate to be a spoil sport. But many images on the first and second page are missing.
I stopped looking after that.
This is due to changes to the gallery links - those links are now temporary. This was discussed here.
Going forward, we're all just uploading attachments to the forum itself. It is what it is, but I don't think we should let it spoil everything and stop us rendering our buys and sharing those.
However you must also understand that someone starting from the beginning might figure this is a thread that died long ago, and not pursue it any further.
I don't recall any notice in the first page explaining the problem.
It might help if a note provided a link to the pages where the problem stopped.
Personally, I am still fuming that Daz broke forum links to images hosted on their own gallery, and haven't provided any kind of response (in what is increasingly approaching two months) - even a casual message from the moderators to say that it's been considered but isn't practical to fix.
The community has been suffering anyway because other changes (like removal of gallery message notificaiton and searches) have made it harder to actually share and discuss art, and then they drop this steaming turd with not even a "sorry, but we had no choice".
It might help if a note provided a link to the pages where the problem stopped.
This page - page 34 - *is* where the problems stop; It happened around April 9th, and the page before this has missing image links. There will be images still here and there in the thread because people used different hosting that - ironically - was more reliable than Daz's own, but
Enthusiasm for posting to the thread hasn't been the highest after Daz gutted it.

When I was a Daz newbie a few years ago, I was taught by - someone on the forum, don't recall now - to upload the file to the post. I've only ever linked to my gallery on the odd occasions when I really wanted to share something and the load file feature was broken.
But yeah, posting is definitely down. After a long gap in which various things kept from doing much Daz stuff, I'm ready to re-engage and it definitely feels like fewer people are out there.

Yes. I agree-always upload the file to the post. Never had an issue that.
That's what I have to do now, but the problem with using attachments to upload images is that every time you want to post the image, you either have to find the original post you uploaded to - a considerable pain with how bad the search is here - or reupload it every time.
The Daz Gallery should, in theory, have been one central hub where I could host images to post to the community.
Okay, it took me a day longer than I thought it would, and the result is once more pretty much a render doing whatever it wants, but here goes anyway. I have been itching to take my new Nebula bundle out for a spin, along with some Toyen hair that I purchased earlier. Here they are, I really like the bundle, although I did have to tune the character (Sadora) down a bit, her features were just too harsh for my liking. But a little softened she's a great ballet dancer character I think, lean and strong and with just a hint of arrogance about her. Will be playing with her more in the future. Clothes also behaved well, the shirt is from Sue Yee though, because I wanted bare arms rather. Everything I used is linked in the gallery of course.
Edit: I think the leg warmers should have some more thickness, I forgot to add it with Thickener. By themselves, they look a little too painted on I feel. The pose is also mainly from the Nebula bundle, but I changed the legs.
My usual disclaimer goes for the G9 figure reference. No it's not Isla, but I am using Isla's skin under the Base Color textures. (He's using Charlie 9 under the Base Color textures, but I got Charlie 9 back in March, so it's not "this month and last month," even fudging with using April/May items.)
Yes that's the G1 outfit, with the current freebie texture.
In case anyone was wondering, the "Centaur" items here work just fine on plain ol' G9.
But yeah, posting is definitely down. After a long gap in which various things kept from doing much Daz stuff, I'm ready to re-engage and it definitely feels like fewer people are out there.
I'd post more (at all?) except that what I'm rendering is so very rarely anything new. It's usually stuff I'm just finally getting around to using after buying it ages ago.

I sometimes go months or years before I again find the creative energy to do a render.
Last month, I was thinking of our current "political situation," and decided to express myself artistically.
I joined the Premier club and got a great price on the Presidential bundle.
Then I recalled a very controversial politcal discussion prompted by that product.
Now I am afraid to display anything I might create to express my own views on that topic.
Then I got over that creative surge, and quit the Premier club.
You could keep a list of links for the images - stiill a pain, I realiise, but better than having to use forum search.
