Where are the texture templates? "Beach Volleyball Set", for one example, used to have them on the store page, but I'm not seeing them there now (or in my Product Library).

Can I highlight this question and ask it again - several pages ago and no answer yet?

Most of the products have the templates in your product library for the item, but a number of older products didn't get caught in the big update for them. We'll be updating that shortly and they will show up in the product library for the product.
    Thank you, that's good news.

Whatever you boys and girls at Daz have planned for the site, please please PLEASE bring back the drop downs for the forums at the very least. Having to always go back to the 'root' page just to branch off to Daz/Members/New Users forums feels like a step backwards from the previous site.

Now the rest of you know what it feels like to have a thread in Art Studio. Every time, we have to go to Forums root page to branch off into the Art Studio section. But I'm sorry everyone is in the same boat. I'm sure it's just temporary though.

None of the online readme files work for me. Everything just says "This is a placeholder for the product Read Me - this product has not yet been publicly released. " The URL is http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/15933/start for example, for Yunko Hair.

The same problem's been reported in the PC Updates thread for older (some of them very old) items. Looks like it wasn't just a glitch with individual product updates... :-/

Um, OK... I was disappointed with the lack of dropdown menus to go to the forums quickly but now I just went into the catalog for the first time. Which empty headed suit thought that it would be a good idea to put those huge product icons on my 23" display? I can see why the people with even bigger screens are screaming. Oy! Just because you can doesn't mean you should, and not every new tech trend needs to be followed without thinking it through.

I'm going to bow out now and go calm down for a day or so before I get really vocal here and get myself banned.

Still logging issues. The auto log on the new store front works great but the older forums are not synced or something. I had to log out and then back in to get the forums logged. Annoying. Hope it's fixed soon!

I went in and checked it hadn't processed the order anyway and tried adding them to cart again and buying - still tells me my cart is empty. I played with the beta, and did checkout in it - so this is a new 'feature'. :-(

I was having the same problem. However, as a workaround, I opened each item in a separate window, added the item to my cart, then closed the window that said the item was added. After all the items had been added, I opened my cart from the main store page and went though the checkout process by clicking on the "Proceed to Checkout" at the bottom of the page, which worked. Trying to use the checkout from the top of the page after clicking on Proceed to Checkout from the last page advising the item was in the cart simply emptied the cart

I had the same problem. I was able to fix it with a slightly easier process. I logged out, then logged back in (my cart was "empty" at this point), I added something else to my cart, and magically it had two items in it (the original and the new one). Then I could open the cart with both items in it, and delete the one I didn't want.

I don't post much but I had to leave some feedback on the new mobile site. I don't like jumbo icons and navigating with cumbersome, scrolling, menus. I wish you would serve up two versions, one for the web and one for mobile. I mean, who browses this site on a phone or tablet? I'm sure the majority of us use our monster PCs with large monitors. You know, the tools for the job. Just saying... Maybe I'm too old?

(Mod edit: merged with main thread as it wasn't a product suggestion.)

Ah Thanks - I was using the one at the top of the pages because I HATE having to scroll off the bottom of the screen to find button that should in on the screen. I was taught that was bad design.

Incidently IE9 is not holding the Theme I selected yesterday, though I am still logged in from yesterday.

I did try logging out and back in and it didn't work - and it wasn't until I hit Purchase that they evaporated, so it wasn't the old 'there is nothing in your cart but your can't add it again'

In the last form presented before submitting your order in checkout....If you use store credit your available credit displayed changes to the amount post order before you submit your order.... the math for the order is done correctly but I hesitated because the available credit displayed before I submitted my order wasn't enough to cover it. I think it should stay the before amount of credit until after the order is processed.

It's not a much filter out as a filter by Software that is needed, as we used to have.

The new shop made me find the twelfth and the thirteenth Generation 6 females. I can't tell you more, I guess... I just want to say that searching is much more fruitful in this iteration than in the past :).

    Bug report:

Weekly Freebies shows no entries if you already have all items on your account.. with no "HIDE ITEMS I OWN" checkbox in the market area... you must go back to the market pages to uncheck.

Can you possibly add that checkbox to this page as well?

    http://www.daz3d.com/freebies

The page Freebies is set up to remove the items you bought - this way you can easily see what’s changed. BUT… You can go around it and use http://www.daz3d.com/shop/ sort ,by price - lowest to highest and uncheck “Hide owned items”. After doing this, I saw the following despite the fact I bought them as freebies from Freebies seconds before:

    http://www.daz3d.com/garden-escape-arbor-gate
    http://www.daz3d.com/garden-escape-bridge
    http://www.daz3d.com/patched-casga
    http://www.daz3d.com/morphable-meerschaum
    http://www.daz3d.com/raelyn-for-stephanie-4
    http://www.daz3d.com/ds-dynamic-skinny-jeans-and-blouse-for-k4
    http://www.daz3d.com/steam-bike-pro
    http://www.daz3d.com/sophisticated-celia
    http://www.daz3d.com/garden-escape-pergola
    http://www.daz3d.com/garden-escape-well
    http://www.daz3d.com/speedlights-outdoor-light-set-1
    http://www.daz3d.com/breezy-wear-textures
    http://www.daz3d.com/printers

I just did a checkout from the new site and one thing I miss is the 'Confirm Purchase' after entering payment information. Every once-in-awhile there may be a price change or loss of PC pricing during checkout and this extra step helped catch the error before committing to the purchase.

Yup, perhaps they have yet to fix it.

...never saw any mention of a store beta test and I've been on the forums daily. If this is now permanently "live" for everyone, then it is no longer a 'beta". So that aside, when will the forums see the update that was mentioned about months ago?

    http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/47353/

...ahh, no wonder, never really go to that forum very much.

One other issue this causes is that it denies non-PC members the chance to input their suggestions so they just end up having to deal with the end result. This should have been presented in one of the General forums that are open to the entire community.

Well, as the beta is alpha now, I can admit I've been perusing the beta for several weeks. I found it unintentionally and the staff asked me not to utter a word to you. But I agree, things like that - including the speculative thread about Belle 6 (mine was merged with one in the Members-Only, therefore denying me entrance to my own thread) - should be available to the widest public possible. Posting such things in Members-Only is just wrong.

Second time this has happened on checkout - the cart is failing on simple math. The price is correct, the discount is correct - so why is the grand total wrong?

Do you really have problem with this particular situation ?

Seriously, DAZ has an unwritten rule that, if the system errs in a way that makes you earn more than you're paying for, then you are entitled to this unexpected discount. And expect to see such quirks in the nearest days (a week, I guess) - if you move a catalogue of over 15000 items, it is bound to get bouncy.

How can you be so light hearted about this?!

And why was I the only one getting 404 forum errors until just 5 minutes ago, since 1 AM PST?!

BTW, the PC coupons aren't working either. I tried to purchase 2 DAZ Originals from the New Look sale, and the DAZ Originals coupon is only giving me 2.50 off!! This is close to the holidays when sites are offering the best bargains of the year!!!!!!

At least Rendo and RDNA had the common sense to pull their crap in the middle of summer. >:0 You know what, screw this, I really badly wanted M6 Pro, but I'm not even going to bother if DAZ can't get its act together.

Oh, and to add insult to injuryt, my ****ing browser crashed in the middle of this POST SO I HAD TO RETYPE IOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used the PC coupon (old style, I am still not PC+) on the new http://www.daz3d.com/elven-armor-for-genesis-2-female-s and it worked ...

But it may be a problem with the stacking sales with coupons - which happened before the new store too:

I'm not light-hearted, Opal, I simply know how such things work. Moving any database is difficult. Moving a database as big as DAZ's is a challenge. If there weren't various sales with discounts overlapping and so on, it would be A BIT easier, but you wouldn't get a chance to get a steal if everything was full-price.

I have a solution: I write bigger messages in Notepad and then just copy-paste them.

I’m not web, but I figured I would just chime in and say that these changes to DAZ are mainly cosmetic. Nothing ‘under the hood’ is drastically different - so the store software is still the same, and security is still as tight as ever.

    No, it isn’t.

I got this pop-up on the login page this morning:

    Security Warning

Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party.

Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?

I never got that before the site change. DAZ3D keeps a copy of my credit card number. The optics here are double-plus-ungood. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

I’ve just tried on 2 different browsers and don’t see anything like that.. anyone else get it?

I got the security warning when changing settings for the platinum club, see attached image
(it is in Dutch, but it is that security warning)
    Using FireFox33 btw....

The store and the wish-list need an "on sale" filter, not just "price high-low"/"price low-high". Being able to weed out PC/PC+ from the on-sale items would nice, too.

If you mean scrolling down as well, I know what you are going though. I run into the same problem with other sites that use the same technology (facebook for example). I hate such sites and as a result I don't use them much (if at all). From what I can tell the site is not loading the tiles or info until you actually scroll over them. If you try to scroll faster than the load happens it whips you back to a earlier location that is loaded. OR it moves to far jumping ahead and you end up searching the place you were at before..

As I said such sites drive me totally crazy and I tend to avoid them. Sadly it seems that all the larger sites are doing the same thing spreading like a plague.

For me, it is most aggravating on my wish list. If I have it set to show all, then scroll, once I get down a screen or two everything starts "rubberbanding" all over the place sending me back up. Or even if I have taken the time to SLOWLY scroll down the list carefully loading the whole thing, if I scroll back up it will need to reload after about 60 items and more "rubber banding" if I go fast. So it would seem that even if you have it set to show all of your list, after about 60 items you will still have to reload and have more "rubber banding".

Unless this can be fixed somehow, I doubt I will be using my wishlist much. Which is where I bought about 90% of the items I have purchased. And I have a feeling it won't (can't) be since it is so prevalent on other sites.

...I find the search quite the opposite. As I mentioned, having to deal performing a "second search" through a bunch of scrolling banners rather than simply getting a page with the results listed in order as to relevance makes it pretty useless unless you know the exact name of what you are looking for.

Yes, I should have used a smiley, my bad . Though I did receive a note about keeping it secret before it goes live. I was kidding about the search, so far I cannot say it is better. That's the problem with the Web - to demonstrate irony, you need tons of smileys.
