I got an error in the cart too when I placed an order. It was:

Mage registry key "_singleton/enterprise_pagecache/observer" already exists

It looked like the order didn't go through but the items showed up in my account. I'm glad I didn't hit the purchase button again after the error.

that's it!! that's the exact message I got - i remember the "observer" thing cos I immediately thought of Quantum Leap. LOL.

Yeah, it looked like the order didn't happen at all - no confirmation page or anything. And like you I was REALLY pleased I didn't hit that purchase button again. :(

Thanks for the warning - I think I'll wait a bit before I place my order today...

Ouch - over 3 minutes load time under Mac Safari 6.1.3 compared to seconds with old store and I can't log in from store page ("page not found" error). Log in from forum works fine.

I checked it for you and no, if you use NoScript on DAZ, the whole site will stop working. It simply won't load.

I normally use NoScript with Firefox and turning it off is an added hassle (I have to restart my browser each time). However, even after turning it off to see if I could get the site to load I still cannot access my wishlist or the store (it simply says "calculating" and never loads the list). I could not even log in until I came to the forums (I couldn't find any where to log in on the front page).

This is exactly what happens if you try to do that. The same will happen with the products.

You log in from the front page, and indeed any store page by clicking on the little icon at top right of the page, next to the shopping cart icon, If it is white you ar not logged in, if you click on it it will take you to the log in page, and once you have logged in it turns blue, with a little tick beside it.

I'm having trouble in the gallery. I can't get to the edit page for any of my pictures. The edit pages are there but for some reason they don't load all the way. The loading circle overlay thing doesn't go away. Tried on both Firefox and Chrome.

We pushed up a gallery fix late last night, so if you do a hard refresh on the page (so it will grab the latest javascript files for it) you should be able to edit the gallery.

Still not working for me. Win 7, FF 32

Have cleared cache, cleared cookies, rebooted modem, rebooted PC, tried a hard refresh (Several tines, both before and after the reboots), still no joy.

Since, according to what I read in another comment, this is primarily "cosmetic" and not an actual change in site software (as we had in 2012), why couldn't they roll back to the previous version of the site and fix some of this stuff first (and listen to the additional suggestions and feedback by many here as well as on the other threads that were closed) before taking it live again? Seems just like I heard the last time, "it worked fine in the test" but when launched for real, it turned into a train wreck.

...and they should wait until we're between sales.

BTW I get more relevant results on Share CG using general category as a keyword than I have seen here.

Then it would never get changed because DAZ always has something on sale, KK.

I added 2 new images to my gallery yesterday, and want to add the credits for products and software used etc, which I guess is just a general edit image thing.

I haven't had any problems with my gallery before this.

Would updating FF to 33 help? BTW I do have a less than optimum broadband connection. our area is apparently the 12th worst in the UK for Broadband and my current BB speed is 1.5gb as compared to those with high speed connections

It looks like a caching issue of the javascript files, but probably with the CDN not you. I'll flush out the relevant files there which will take a bit of time to propagate. If you wait a bit and clear your cache out (no need to do cookies), you should be good to go. Just tested it out with both admin accounts and non-admin accounts on the gallery and it worked fine with the correct code loading on FF.

Oh, another thought. You might be able to grab a correct version if you change https to http or vice versa. Force the browser to hit a different URL as far as it is concerned and get the different asset. You might get the updated version if the CDN has only cleared out one version of the file so far from the last flush calls.

Sorry about that error, it looks like that was getting triggered when buying something that was on your wishlist. Should be good now.

I had a hard time with my wishlist this morning. First, every times I tried to add an item to it, I got an error (red exclamation mark at top of page and item didn't add to wishlist). Then I couldn't pull up my wishlist from the store, had to get to it from forums. Next I had 5 items in my shopping cart, but was unable to check out.

"the CDN"? What do Canadians have to do with anything?

And a site that deals with credit card information (however peripherally) should not be usable with http, only with https. That's both basic security and basic perception-of-security.

The http/https bit was for the gallery, not the store.

As I thought, CDN is Content Delivery Network - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_delivery_network

Yeah, that is totally false. You should actually only use HTTPS on pages which have secure data or are transferring secure data. Your statement is basically saying all shops do it wrong, including Amazon (amazon forces HTTP on most pages and only goes to HTTPS when it needs to). No where in the PCI-DSS specifications nor actual practice is that correct.

Just added something from my Wishlist to cart and the pricing went wrong, but I added the Sharecg voucher to see if that would work, which did work - unfortunately there isn't Remove option on this website so I take out the voucher before I backed out of the whole transaction. Added it again - not using to pop-up window to go to the cart this time - Pricing was right, but now the sharecg voucher is no longer valid, even though I never completed a transaction with it and I am applying it to the same item. So it looks like I am not buying it. :-(

    That fixed it, thanks Jon.

Now the only problem seems to be adding Categories, and I think that applies to everyone.

Thanks for the fixes. I am able to get into a gallery image and edit now. Still having some trouble in other less critical pages of the gallery with the loading forever thing but I haven't cleared my browser cashe yet. I'll try that first.

There's a display issue with the add product field in the gallery. If you are on the dark theme when you start typing a product, you can't read the drop down list until you mouse over.

New Releases page was turned into this URL: http://www.daz3d.com/shop - it sorts by "new arrivals" which means the newest things are on the top and the oldest on the bottom. If you use the old New Releases bookmark, you will be redirected to the URL I linked to.

OK, cleared my cashe but still having some gallery trouble. If you navigate to a picture page in the gallery from the main list everything is fine. But, if you navigate from your gallery dashboard - view your page - and then click on a picture, it loads forever.

Today’s DAZ Original items do not show discount for non-PC members and only 40% for PC members.
Tried different Browsers but no way to get correct discount.

Richard Haseltine said in this thread that he sees the correct discounts.

But the advantage to the 'new releases' page was that neither the oversize scrolling billboard nor the "what's hot" carousel showed up.

I'm going to keep campaigning to get rid of the "What's Hot" carousel. Don't need it, don't use it, and I don't want to keep downloading the details.
