    So frustrating.  I logged out and back in to see if the sales tax issue would clear, and now all the PFAD in the cart are back up at full price.  But the sales tax amount is still the same amount, which doesn't make sense unless it's being charged on pre-discount prices.  My default address is in Canada.

    PFAD not working for me.... they are full price, but membership and coupons restored. Would like to buy some of the PFADs, but won't at full price.

    I figured out why I am getting the wrong URL for those links. It has to do with the page formatting of that black header with the SHOP TECHNOLOGY GALLERIES, etc. The formatting causes the link problems when the page width is narrow enough to cause the text links on the black header to wrap around to a second line, as I showed in the original post about this problem. If the page is wide enough so that the black border doesn't wrap to two lines, then the links in the blue area (People and Wearables Animals and Creatures Places and Things, etc.) work correctly. If the page is very narrow, so that the black header links (SHOP TECHNOLOGY, etc.) are completely hidden, the links in the blue area also work correctly. It is only when the SHOP TECHNOLOGY, etc. is wrapped to a second line that the problem occurs.

    BAD - window width forces SHOP  TECHNOLOGY  GALLERIES etc. to a second line. Links for People and Wearables  Animals and Creatures, etc. don't work.

    GOOD - Window is wide enough that SHOP  TECHNOLOGY  GALLERIES etc. is on the same line as Daz3D. Links for People and Wearables, etc. work OK.

    GOOD - window width is so narrow that the SHOP  TECHNOLOGY  GALLERIES etc. line is completely hidden. The links for People and Wearables, etc. work OK.

    That's interesting. So would this create problems on the iPhone? Hmmm...doesn't look like those links are available on iPhone. I'll report if I don't see it on their list.

    I have an android phone. Neither the black header links links nor the blue links below it are visible at all.

    Yeah, all PFAD is back up at full price. They've spent the better part of the day not working for various reasons, they finally did for a little bit, and now Daz has pulled the discount from every last one more than two hours before midnight? Predictably with no word.

    There'd better be a significant catchup period with PFAD prices and a functioning store to close out the sale. Plus additional compensation. We've put up with way more than we ever should have been asked to during the course of this, including spending days functionally and at times actually stripped of our paid privileges.

    So, I walked away for a few minutes to walk the dog. I come back and check my cart thinking that I'll finally be able to buy a few things and this is waiting for me...

    Grand Total $2391.44

    In the half hour I was gone, the prices reset again. Unreal... The Plat for a Day were all regular price, as well as the debut/new items.

    Daz, this is no longer a funny little interlude. Its now downright frustrating. I think I'm off to Renderosity with my mad money. I can always find a few goodies there.

    That's impressive.  I've never had that much in a cart, LOL.  Daz should pay attention to you; certainly they don't want that kind of change just left on the table.  I hope they extend this sale one more day as well.

    Yeah, same happened to me: the cart I had not been able to consummate yesterday vanished; I re-carted my choices using a screengrab for ref, and was waiting to see if the checkout bugs were settling since there was still time before the day/deals died at dazmidnight; so, just now I checked my cart thinking I'd risk trying to check out, and the prices had gone crazy, discounts removed etc.  Why doesn't Daz test new store on a small, separate system and actually, you know, see if it works, before crippling the actual store?   WHY DID DAZ THINK THE BEST TIME TO CHANGE STORE is during a SALE WHERE EVERY SINGLE DAY THEY SET UP A SPECIAL DAY OF DEALS?  As opposed to some time before the PAfestival/PC+festival times, back in summer when it's just new debuts and random flash sales and Daz is not literally driving all the customers to live there all day every day because of the super-sale events with nonstop unique deals/product lineups like these festivals.

    My cart also reverted back to full price from $50.05 to $492.74.  I'm sure the PC+ For a Day discount will come back again in a bit.  If not, then maybe when I wake maybe it will be back.


    No big deal.  

    DAZ IT always gets things ironed out eventually.  And besides, there is always another sale after all.  If I can't get these things in this sale, they will pop up in another sale down the road.  My favorite part about DAZ is the sales rotate so often that if I procrastinate on one sale and miss it, often I'll wait a few weeks and the item that I was eyeing pops back up but at an even better deal.

    The portion of that blog that says, paraphrasing, "today's sale will be available tomorrow" is visually in a separate entry on that blog page and dates to yesterday I think; and the date stamp at top for the LATEST edit to the page refers, I think, to just that last separate entry section at the top; that's why I was able to recart earlier today the irtems&deal the store wouldn't successfully check out yesterday nov 1 (sunday), but unfortunately also did not get checked out today (so I expect I won't be able to get that cartload/deals/price tomorrow, since they'll be changing the items in the various categories like PFAD and relateds etc when the deals change over. )  I hope that I'm wrong & you're right, tho!   Or, that they Groundhog Day these exact same dealspage yet again for the 3rd day to make up for wrecking the store in the midst of an already complicated daily-deal-marathon sales event.

    Also, an actual DazPerson posted in one of the forums that the Gift Card deal was going off, which also suggests today's deal slate will not be IDENTICALLY repeated tomorrow...  unless, of course, Daz changes their minds again, which totally could happen.  ;)

    After the PFAD prices shot up to full price yet again I gave up, dumped the cart, and went and bought a long wanted and half price writing seminar instead.

    PFAD prices have been corrected. From what I can see...prices are applied in the cart. Same thing with the freebies.

     . Well, I did manage to consummate my cart reconstructed from ref screengrabs from yesterday when it wouldn't go through successfully! Yay.  The cart showed the expected amount (I'm not convinced it is exactly correct math, but close enough I was willing to go) as I checked out and entered a new cc info profile instead of using my old info as someone in the forums suggested as way to avoid getting that odd, unhelpful "OK plus numbers" message but not checkout, but after the cart went through, I checked my order history and it showed the transaction for that order as $$$$waaay more;  very heart-attack sort of moment.   I went to my CC bank though and they show the pending transaction at the correct amount... so, super great relief.   SO: #1, Daz needs to make the lists of people's orders & dollar amounts show up CORRECTLY so people are freaked out like this.  #2, I'd suggest people follow up after each transaction by checking their bank/paypal/cc accounts to verify the charges are as expected immediately, so you can file a ticket and/or do damage control. :)           Hello, Daz: SHOPPING is not supposed to be an episode of playing russian Roulette with your finances,, or a gambling session.   It's too scary to be pressing that button if you can't trust what you'll be charged. (Yes, they'll straighten later but what might happen in the meantime to your account if you suddenly and unexpectedly were struck by a Dazberg or the Daztanic of cart errors?!

    ETA: Yes, now that I'd raced the DazDay timecrunch to checkout and then posted this note, I had time to actually check the math in my cart which I suspected of being 60 or more cents off (not a deal-breaker at the time) and in fact, the item price total was actually EXACTLY $1.00 LESS than the amount the cart showed and charged me.  So, add #3 to the above numbers: even when the prices of items are correct you apparently must vet the total yourself since it appears the Cart is not reliable yet.   In my case, it's not worth fussing about but in some cases it might be, so be alert, shoppers! :)

    Freebie (Foxhole props) shows free in the cart, but when I attempt to check out, I have to pick a payment option which suggests that the item isn't free. Looks like I'll be saving a lot until all this actually works.
