If you put in a ticket on these problems, you should be able to type in N/A in the Order # field and explain and show images with date/time stamps without actually purchasing, to the best of our knowledge. Tonight, I'm in the same boat and not getting the expected discounts, but for another moderator, it works exactly as it should. As usual, we will also report to Daz
Yes, the 2.99 is not working on the last day either :(. I'm not even looking at the items, no point in making myself feel bad.
I have a question for you guys though:
I have bought 3 items from top 2019 items a few days ago (when the max discount was only 60%) and toghether with a premium coupon they were 45$. Now the same items, without a coupon are 46.65$. Is there a way to get back my money and coupon and repurchase them today at the lower price ?
It seems unfair that I get "punished" for buying them the first time around for Daz to make a better offer on same items only 2 days later.
Just started culling from my wishlist all items I don't absolutely want. My frustration has to go somewhere. I'm still complaining about this non-working 2.99 sale. But as long as I'm complaining, I'm still a customer here. A very unhappy customer, at the moment.
Maybe DAZ has lots of customers. Maybe the customer base grows every day. But maybe DAZ is losing customers as well. People who don't complain in this forum, but go silently away.
Can't go back in time and make pictures of carts not working yesterday, or nine days ago.
What's a Time/Day stamp and how do you make such stamps?
Do a full screen grab with the windows clock in the corner if you are using a suitable computer. Alternative possiblility would be to submit during the sale so that your ticket dates it appropriately. Not sure if that would work, but it is an idea.
It's not only the customers suffering from failed promises. It's also the PA's missing out on a lot of sales, and thus missing out on their income for this month. And, honestly, this is NOT a good time for DAZ to slip up like this. Not with their main competitor in asset sales aquiring Poser. Who knows what the near future will look like? It would take some effort, but the crew at Rendo could do the unthinkable, and add the iray render engine to Poser. Or even worse, figure out a convenient means to use Genesis 3 and 8 figures in Poser. We don't know exactly what improvements the people at Rendo are implementing to the software, but it also wouldn't hurt Daz to consider the worst case scenarios, and make sure both PAs and customers stay happy with them, rather than risk them migrating.
Generally what I try to do is get my computer Time/Day Stamp (Using Print Screen or something like LightShot works well)

Reporting.
We do apologize to all of you experiencing this issue. We have tried to troubleshoot it but it is proving to be difficult. As you can see from my screenshot above, for some (like me) it seems to be working and for some it isn't and at the moment we are trying as best we can to sort out why it is happening. We thank you for your patience and understanding while we work towards resolving the issue
How do you see the total % of reduction? Is that an option we can turn on?
It's a plugin for FIrefox that a lot here tend to use so I use it sometimes to test with to be sure there isnt something even with that somehow LOL
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/daz-deals/versions/ for firefox, each browser has it, I believe.
Thanks guys, will give it a try. Who knows, maybe adding it will fix the 2.99 items having full price instead :D.
Any suggestion on my earlier question?
All my countdown items, which I think should be at most $2.99 are showing up at $9.95. Absolutely everything in the New Year Catchup 299 list for me is $9.95.
I think this is the problem you know about already but I don't recall anyone saying they were all at the same [WRONG] price.
@Alex86fire this is the support thread here at daz for it: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/106296/announcing-daz-deals-browser-add-on/p1
lots of info in there and the add on is brilliant
a lot of us are getting them all at $9.95. Doesn't matter if we put 1 in or 5, or have a new release or not.
I'm a long-time customer and PC+ member and the $2.99 deals haven't worked for me since the 2nd day of the offer. On other items my loyalty discount sometimes gets applied, sometimes doesn't. Logging out and then back in (immediately) often changes the cost of items in the cart. Deleting an item from the cart and then adding it back in will often change its cost. Items supposedly on sale sometimes appear at full price when added to the cart (and with no loyalty discount applied either).
In summary, in my experience it's a total mess. Have tried a number of different browsers, cleared cache etc., just in case, but with no success. Can't be bothered to raise trouble tickets to Daz because reading the trail of messages on the forum many people are experiencing similar problems and these issues should have been resolved many days ago.
Daz have lost out on a lot of orders from me. I'm a big fan of Daz Studio but billing admin has gone to pot, reflects very poorly on the professionalism of the site I'm afraid.
For the record, I even tested going to the "Checkout" page, I have had occasions in the past where the price on the page where you decide on the payment method is different from the page that lists the shopping cart. Usually just one or two cents, which I'd attribute to minor rounding differences, but on rare occasions, it also had discounts disappearing or properly applying. Sadly, it made no difference today, but I do think it was worth checking. (there's gladly still a button on that page to go back and edit the cart, lol, so that page is still not a point of no return).
Thanks, I installed it and it is awesome. Besides the percentage of price and lowest price it also has links to Gallery and Forum posts. I can't believe I lived without it until now :)) .
Let's render our frustration. I'll use what I already have. Goodness knows, I have enough.
I peaked in the window of Daz HQ. I can confirm that they are doing everything they can to fix the sale.
Here it is in my Gallery.
No wonder it's not working, that computer isn't plugged into anything!!
This is awesome! :))) Nice job! :)
Just submitted a ticket with a request to buy ten $2.99 items at that advertised price. (Missed out on nine sale days so that should make me entitled to 45 items in total.) Let's wait and see....
If possible, we'd like the thread to be used more for reporting problems. This thread has been useful to not have a ton of threads and possibly miss problems. But the same goes for a lot of discussion going on only because it's easier to miss the actual problems. And in the end, that's what we'd all like is to get any problems resolved.
We understand there have been frustrations. Reporting those problems allows to keep Daz informed and hopefully get them addressed in a timely manner. This has been a particularly ardent, but intermittent, inconsistent problem with the 2.99 sale. We know you want answers and responses, but they are really addressed best with the ticket system. It logs the problem and keeps a record. It also shows them how many people are involved. Remember that these forums are peer-to-peer and there is only so much the mods can do and little your fellow forum members can do to resolve the issues. If you need to comment or quesiton, the ticket system takes your words directly to Daz.
In the meantime, we will facilitate with the limited means we have and hope, along with you, that we find blissful ends to issues encountered. We'd all like a Happy New Year.
Typical. The $2.99 final day sale is now bursting with products I'd like to buy but they are all loading into the cart as $9.95. I probably could've gone for 30+ items at least, but I guess I'll have to settle for zero.
Silence the complainers - yea thats the way to go. This thread logs the problem and is a record but I guess that's not something Daz want in a public forum.
Great pic, barbult!

I seem to recall that these sale threads first started out as primarily discussion (both positive and critical) threads about ongoing sales, and the being used to keep track part came later - seems to me there should be room for both.
Maybe in the same thread, maybe not (although policing that would be hard 'sale not working? no that's the other sales thread' ad nauseam rinse and repeat).
If indeed this thread logs the problems, that is exactly my point, that we'd like to keep it to the problems themselves so it makes it easier to go through the thread and see them. Nobody is asking anyone not to report the problems. If you have to wade through tons of posts, that are not actually describing the error, to find the problems, it becomes counter-productive.
However, in terms of being able to help with refunds or resolutions to cart problems, etc., those are not things handled in the forums. Too often, people believe that presenting the problems in the forums is the equivalent of showing them to Daz and this is just not the case. We can, often, bring sales problems to the attention of Daz to fix a category discrepancy or items which are not showing or getting their proper discount. We normally test the problem and verify it for Daz. In this case, this has proven very problematic. All in all, some things we can help with, others need to go through the ticket system.
