Not getting free Pro Bundle with Tristan if I add Pro Bundles from the Top 2019 (and having Tristam gives extra 20% on these so...).
So here I have my cart with Tristan items, Free Pro Bundle and Top 2019 items $52.87.
When I add one of the Pro Bundles from top 2019 items it goes wonky...So it was $52.87 and now $95.71 after adding Mr Woo Pro Bundle for £16.07
Please send this to support, it does sound like an issue that may need lookng into - even if it is not related to the Countdown problems.
I saw someone post earlier, not sure where that post went but the idea behind it was that the offer someone takes into consideration the last purchase you have made, not the last purchase from this specific offer.
And because it is once per day, if you have made any other purchase the day before, you don't have the offer.
I believe this is consistent with what happened to me and some of the other people i've seen on this forum.
If there is anyone who hasn't encountered this behavior, please say so, because to me it sounds like the problem.
Also, I've seen somewhere else someone saying that DAZ are not able to reproduce the problem. What does that mean exactly. The offer works on all of their accounts? Or, they can't make it to not work for an account that works? If there was a direct communication between the troubleshooting and us (the test users) we might be able to help them fix it. (Yes, I have opened a ticket and I do not think they will answer to soon since I expect they are overflowing with similar tickets)
I have had the offer working despite making a purchase the day before, and even despite making a purchase with a Countdown item the day before.
They can't make the offer go wrong for them.
Ticket sent (I prefer to send as few tickets as possible, I always feel sorry for people working at support, especially during the winter holidays)
The sale worked for me again today. Two days in a row. Not sure why. It applied the $2.99 price and the discount for having a new item in the cart.
Has not worked for me for several days, with or without a new release.
How about repeating today's sale once everyone is back from the holidays and this is figured out? A "ok, now everything is working" catchup sale?
I think its more complicated than that. If that were true, I shouldn't see the 2.99 today when I add one to an empty cart, but I do. Though I'll say prior days that was not the case.
Now it is blowing out if I add a new release which would trigger allowing greater than 5 items and 20% more off.
Also I went back and checked and I did check out with some kind of order every day since the sale start. The 2.99 worked the first day. And there was one, possibly 2 cant recall for sure, days where the 2.99 did reappear but I was PO'd because the couple things that had been on that list when it didn't work were off it. So I bought nothing off that list offer that day. But then the following days, of course after the good ones got back on the list, it wasn't working. So if it was related to having bought or not bought anything the day before... I should have then never seen the 2.99 again.
Again/still not working. I placed items in my cart yesterday that did show $2.99, until I realized I was not logged in. Logged in, they went to $9.95. Added a new item to the cart, they remained at $9.95. No point in buying them. Today, opened my cart, they were STILL $9.95, with a 2-day gap between purchases, so I cleared the cart and started over. $9.95 for each; I haven't tried adding a new item, yet, and I shouldn't have to. This is absurd.
Today's attempt at the $2.99 sale, I can put 5 items in at $2.99 each but if I add a new release (not debut but still new) to the cart they all go up to $9.95. Less than 5 plus a new release also doesn't work so it's not just having over 5 items in the cart that triggers it. More than 5 plus a new release doesn't work either. The more than 5 items plus new release did work for me before Christmas and I got the loyalty bonus on the $2,99 items then so if it is a problem with my account it has only started recently.
Well, this is the last day and it's a pity since there were a few things i would have bought if the sale worked. I'll probably just settle for 5 of them and accept that I won't get the loyalty bonus.
Maybe Tristan is causing the problem. Bwahaha..... My issues with the sale began when he arrived.
Today nothing worked for me... $9.95 for each item no matter what I did. But there were many that were repeats that I missed so I have submitted a ticket to request buying them at my price. Since I got a CSR response on my first ticket that said they needed all sorts of items screenshotted to complete my first request as I hadn't made myself clear about my problem with the sale I made screenshots of everything. After putting it all together I then get the error that I cannot submit the ticket because I have too many supporting files attached. I put them all into a jpg and resubmitted. There really are not words to express my level of frustration with all of this. The person helping me acted like they didn't even know what was going on - I had submitted a copy of 5 items at $2.99 in one order and another order with the debut item to prove that I had purchased it and CSR was confused why I hadn't just put the new item in my order and gotten the deal myself. I referred them to this thread. This whole thing is so painful and last time I checked shopping and spending money was supposed to fun. Enough of my frustrations. At least this is the last day of this misery...
Why not just use an account of someone with the problem, since the problem is linked with accounts?
Now that I think of it, it is the same with me :))). Stupid Tristan, I was better of not buying him.
Nope, no Tristan but same 9.95 prob here... :/
I bought Tristan and the sale is working for me. No consistency on the problem. Inconsistency and intermittence are the bane of troubleshooting. I do not envy the programmers. It's too bad that the software is not better.
I don't think it's because of his purchase, maybe just his sale running at the same time. See dortybassa's post above.....I remember the same thing happening the first day of his sale re the pro bundles. Today I can put the 2.99 items in at 2.99 until five, but a new item added makes them 9.95. Just saying....
Unless you are buying an adittional debut item, that's actually the correct behaviour. Five maximum per day.
If I had to throw my 2 cents in I'd say the consistent thing being the "day counter reset" simply doesn't work as intended. Possibly simply set to "week" instead "day" e.g.
Since today is last day, how about they set to never for the new item in cart at least since you are supposed to get unlimited items anyway. I think this will please plenty of us.
I agree that part is correct, but if I put a new item in it should trigger the loyalty discount. Instead, the prices go to 9.95. For the past several days, it's all been 9.95 regardless.
i just added a 2.99 item to my cart with 12 other items..it came in at 9.95. no workee .............. again
I bought Tristan, and the offer works just fine for me, as indeed it has all month. I have rarely taken advantage of it as mostly it is stuff offered cheap before, but I have not suffered any of the issues some people are having. Pot luck I guess, that one of those with least interest in the offers is one of those where it works perfectly.
The thread I opened in Commons has been closed by ChoHole, in favor of this one. Okay.
So, just to weigh in, again, this website bug has been happening for days. Not like Daz doesn't know about it, it's just not being fixed is all. No point guessing why.
The thing is, my Library is already enormous. These 2.99 items, many oldies, are not urgent for me. Basically, I was bored and decided to scan the Daz site to see if there were any products of interest for a cheap price. I did find several, but definitely don't "need" them, just thought they might be of occasional use, maybe only once, even, but for $3 bucks, what the heck.
Sempie suggested screenshots and petitioning Daz to honor the sale price eventually. I don't agree. I'll give them till close of business, and if the problem hasn't been fixed, I'll empty the cart.
The issue I really wonder about, though, is the PA's point of view on this. They are the ultimate losers, here. At the sale price, they won't make much selling these older products, of course, but I won't purchase these at the listed price at all, so, go figure. There's also the issue of "goodwill." Website problems that persist for days, with lots of customer complaints, and no resolution, leave a taint, for me at least, around the products and PA's involved. That's just the way that is.
Basically, I've seen these sorts of problems before. It's my money. If they don't want it enough to maintain their own wesite, that's that.
Time to get back to rendering...
I totally agree with you. This issue is really bad for business but I believe they will find a way to make it up. Either by having the offer for one day later on when they fix the problem or whoi knows what else.
There is also, at least for me, the issue that some items were at offer (special offer on the shop event page, not just random discount) a few days ago, and today, being last day, they get even cheaper.
This, in my mind, rewards the ones that don't buy when they see a good offer and has determined me not to buy something at offer anymore unless I absolutely need it at that point in time.
P.S.
I just tried one more time, before leaving for New Years Eve party, the offers.
The normal 5 items for 2.99 is not working, but the one with unlimited items if a new item is in cart is working. I don't know when they fixed it, since yesterday it was not working for me but I haven't tried this version today until now.
Well, at least I got the items I wanted(mostly scenes and props) for a good price. Not sure how many of them I will use since I was pressed for time to choose but at least they were cheap, I won't regret 2.36 $ for an item if I don't get to use it.
I hope some of the others with the problem get a chance to buy the items they want and I wish you all Happy New Year and a wonderful time tonight!
Proof that it isn't working.
Tried it on two different computers. It is specific to my account and I suspect to certain other individuals. To what purpose, let's wonder about that.
Ditto on sale not working. If it's not fixed by the time I log off the computer tonight, then I will not buy. I m not into creating more work for myself for stuff I don't really need.
Well, the 2.99 sale did work for me this time, sort off. Several items + 1 new item and the discounts were calculated correctly, afaik....
(just adding 2.99 items wouldn't work, they were priced in the cart as 9.95)
Last buy for this year (
) have a save new years eve everyone....
