Either they just fixed it, or that earlier theory about a non-related separate purchase blocking the 2.99 for the next 23 hours was spot on.
Nope. It does that for somelucky individuals. The rest of us don't see it.
I already owned the vast majority of the $2.99 items already, but I did periodically stick some of the older ones that I'd passed on in the cart to so what they were with the discounts stacked, and while the five per day offer initially worked, the minute a new item was put into the cart, the prices shot up. Easy enough just to not buy those G2 items at p[rices I'd passed on them before. However, once I actually bought an item, I stopped getting the discount altogether, and the offer has never worked for me since. Clearly there's a screw up that's misflagging accounts as no longer being eligible for the deal, and the question now seems to be if it's in the individual accounts or buried in conflicting codings of the multiple promotions in the current ad. The problem is that the only sure way to way to determine if it's actually the ad coding that's causing it is to stop using the same ad template. To start from a blank slate and move the $2.99 off off the main ad to a side ad like a flash sale. People have been saying to try doing that that since before Xmas. Unfortunately, the simplest, most basic, and frequently most effective diagnotic test and quick-fix known to the world - ie unplugging the thing and then trying again... seems to have been ignored as the store continues to run what seems to be the the exact same basic ad with only day to day product changes. Maybe something IS being done behind the scenes, but there's no visible sign of it from out end and that's what's so frustrating.
Neither way has worked for me in days (the buy a new release and unlimited 2.99 items, or just the set number. I've tested it with 4 of the 2.99 items. Did everyone note it says UP TO FIVE- not five. If you were doing 5, perhaps check to see if 4 or less works. For me, it doesn't and I've been testing it that way. But hey, maybe it will make a difference for you.

I'm trying to post two images, but, it's being a little weird, so, I'll just type it for now. The product is; "Jazz Corner, SKU: 53149". It is 61% off, but, when I aded it to my cart it's $2.99.
There is another weird thing, which I do not know if is normal or not, as I have not been on here is awhile...in the preview window for images, there is this Latin text "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. On Google translate it's kinda' nonsense, but, "Nunc imperdiet gravida mauris." means "Financing pregnant now start.". So, I think I'll wait until items are fixed before ordering.

The Wall Street Journal had an interesting article on December 28, called "For the New Year, Say No to Negativity (How to Counteract the Power of Negative Thinking)". The take away is "It takes four good things to overcome one bad thing". And "You get relatively little credit for doing more than you promised, but you pay a big price for falling short." They suggest going on a low-bad diet to improve personal happiness. So, I'm going off to render more of the nifty products I've purchased here over time, for great prices, and have fun. Let's leave this bad behind. We are just making ourselves and each other miserable.
I have on-again, off-again performance of $2.99 sale. Yesterday was OK. Right now, if I buy a new item, I get $2.39 for $2.99 items. That's right, I think. If I drop the new item, I get $9.95. There are a few items I missed earlier. I can buy them with an inexpensive new item or wait for the stars to align again in the future. Either way, this has been a very weird sale!
I have major problems with coupons I was sent on Sunday but I cant communicate with anybody at daz. I have tried multiple times.
If you're talking about gift card codes, be sure there's no space at the beginning or end (just to be on the safe side) One code works, the other doesn't usually.
As far as I can tell, nearly every non-new PC+ item is in the PC+ sale category at the moment, including nearly every goldtassel hair... except https://www.daz3d.com/coco-hair-for-genesis-8-females
Its texture add-on is in the category and newer hairs are in the category, so I'm not seeing any real reason for it to be left out. I'd kind of like to clean up some of the hairs I haven't got, so can we confirm whether this should actually be in the category?

I am talking about a regular coupon.I have tried about 15 times and I have done a few hundred times over the years without a mishap but I have never seen such a lack of commuunicatn but I have been having problems with the robots which seem to be taking over in many parts of the business commuunity

Well it hasn't been fixed. Maybe by reading the comments in this thread, if there is such a thing where my other regular purchases interfere with this sale, then it would be helpful to know. It shouldn't as far as I can see and I am on UK time, so it isn't like I can stay awake every damn hour of the morning to check. It is already 11:33pm here in the UK. So it would be nice to know what is going on. 2 days ago, which is far more than 24 hours ago, I was able to get 2.99 items. Prior to that day I couldn't for several days get anything. It's almost like it is every 48 hours or more I am able to get it, and then the next day when a new sale comes on, I am forbidden from doing so.
I'm sure I don't own it.
While I can definitely see it as a PC+ item, it's missing from the PC+ sale category as part of the holiday sale, (which is descibed as "All PC items", and does indeed seem to be including almost every non-new PC item).
where many other goldtassel hairs (and the Coco hair's texture add-on) are discounted below their base PC+ price. Between the 60% off for items in that category, my 30% loyalty discount, and the 10% discount on DOs, other goldtassel hairs with a base PC+ price of $4.99 are discounting to $1.26.
It is discounting in the cart for some other reason, but only to $2.83 (which doesn't appear to relate to any combination of those discounts). And while $2.83 isn't a bad price for it and I may well still pick it up, I'd obviously still rather pay $1.26.

I've tried adding new items, multiple its, one item just baout every possible combination. There are things I want to snap up for 2.99 but still no worky. The new items have insane discounts, those will work, but I don't buy things I don't need even if they're cheap.
I finally got rid of all my credit cards, so like you pay with debit. So I get it.

Still doesn't work for me either. If not logged in, the loyalty items show in the cart as $2.99. After login the pice jumps to the $9+ price. What a mess. Had problems earlier in the week and over the weekend but it did work sporadically. Now not at all. Also tried in Firefox...same bad results.
I guess I'm just grateful when the countdown items work and they typically do2.pp

Taking a screenshot takesless three minutes if you have over 100 items carted. Help desk email takes another three minutes. No big deal if you're really a buyer.
Last year we complained about how DAZ took away the holiday discount before the year ended. Daz learned and this year it worked right up til now.
Nobody is perfect. And when thingsa are promised and not delibvered it bugs me too, but when I think about how much work the PA's put into these products, and the countdown discounts, to squander them off at 2.99, coupled with their generous holiday freebies, I really don't resent them getting the odd Christmas bonus and for the few products I took a hit on, I considered a giving back. Glitches happen. But all the glitches I encountered rectified themselves at times. I owned a brick and motar (not online) company for 30 years and I always got complaints. Every business does. But the complaints were like 2% of the sales. Still important, and I learned from them and worked to make things better. Given the difference in invoive numbers and the amount of compalints her I would say Daz is doing better.

The PA's and Daz lost bigtime this year with the discount fails.
If you say so but I thinkk they are making big money. Most people buying don't post here. I have bought every day spent 8K this year and since 2017 an average of 10K per year amounting to just shy of 30K. Needless to say, I have a shitload of invoices and took courses for projections and ROI, and the difference between today and yesterday is off the charts and so is three days ago compared to two days ago. This sale must be working for tons of people and bases on the incremental invoice numbers, amd what I would surmise the success of Daz to be, if DAZ had shares I'd gobble them up.
I don't get what part of this is not working. Here is a 2.99 just added and a new release
