    You will find you actually got two emails. Gmail lumps them together, if that is what you are using. Find the second one and use it.

    Still at $9,95, at the final moments of the sale....

     

    (Other than that, I cannot be certain that the DAZ store software will not exclude me from future sales...)

    LOL! now the $2.99 items are actually going into my cart at the full price less 25% discount (my loyalty discount) instead of either $9.95 or $2.99

    I GIVE UP!!!

    and all the 65% category are going in at full price. It's not change over time yet.....still about another half hour to go I think.

    You can see that some people are getting the correct discounts, some that hadn't been, some are getting somewhat right along with some not getting it at all. How do you fix something that is this all over the place. Daz has been trying, but they cannot reproduce the problem. If they can't, how can they be expected to fix it?

    It should be usable once a day. You should not put any freebies into the cart with this. You can put in a ticket. We apologize for the inconvenience, Daz is doing what it can.

    Why isn't someone going through the sale code, or whatever they put in there, one line at a time, to find where things could go wrong? Failing that, why do they not create a new set of sales because this set is obviously flawed? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result clearly isn't working. The sale code, if it is an ongoing case of modifying what went before, probably has some ancient test as part of it - e.g. does the person own all Victorias, or did they buy whatever the previous pro figure was, or something like that.
    I had a single item in my cart- a so called $2.99 item, and it was $9.95.

    While I appreciate the effort you're putting into this, I find the fact that you have no clue at all what's causing these glitches most disturbing of all.

    Does not arouse much confidence that next sale, you'll be getting things right...

    Unfortunately, there's none there that I want. LOL. Typical.

    Despite all the posts stating that the 5 item limit without purchasing a new item is per day, I start to belive that the problems are related to this and the counter is not reset after each day. When I add a new release the prices drop from 9.95 to 2.99 and 25% (loyalty discount) are substracted. Then the items end up with 2.24US$. I tried to count the items I bought at 2.99, but since the order history shows the items not at the prices they had in the cart, this is pretty difficult to say. 

     

    BTW: If you have to give a programmer the advice to log in with the users account that has the problems, he/she should find a new job. I do this all the time one of my colleagues has trouble with my assignment database (small LAMPS project).

    Ok, but when I just put the "Momiji Trees Extreme Detail" (SKU 35515) from todays selection in my cart, it is 9.95 US$. If I add a new release, for example "dForce Classic Fur Cape and Textures Bundle" (SKU 66071), it comes down to 2.24 US$

    Did not buy a 2.99 offer today or for the last two days because of the troubles.

    $2.99 items do not work at least when you haved more than 5 with a new release in the cart. Other promotions seem to be working for me though.

    Does not work either even if you only have 1 to 5 $2.99 items because the price is $9.95...

  • The GC offer was last night; the text mistakenly moved over to the new banner. It wasn't on the promo page which made me suspect the banner was in error. The errant text is being removed.

  • Those guys need to do some alpha testing and proof reading!

    I'm not blaming anybody personally. Just have this feeling that the DAZ staff is no longer in full control over its store software, that is randomly inventing entirely new parameters without being instructed to....

    Everybody can make mistake, as in old Japanese saying "Saru mo ki kara ochiru" (even monkeys fall from trees), especially when somebody must deal with complex sale in very limited CMS solution (Magento).

    Anyhow probably anything will be back on 31.12. if  I follow correctly DAZ marketing logic.

    Demanding to somebody get fired just because we didn't get our nick-nacks in this family gathering time is blasphemy for me.
