    Well the $2.99 sale is working for me now, at least I think it is. The items are now $2.99. I'm pretty sure I got the loyalty discount on them before but it isn't happening now even though I had a debut new release and some PC+ stuff in the cart as well (I got the loyalty discount on those). Anyway, I'm not going to bother about that, I bought them and $2.99 each is a very good price.

    If you have a new release over $1 in your cart, you should get an extra 20% off of the $2.99, as I understand it. Last I checked earlier tonight, that was not working. The sale text says:

    Get unlimited "Holiday Countdown" Items for $2.99* when you buy any New Release over $1 - AND also get an EXTRA 20% OFF* them

    (20% OFF replaces your Loyalty Discount if its bigger)
    Offer usable once per customer

    If you get the 30% off, and you also pick up the Tristan pro bundle, you get an extra 20% off, which would be 1.67.  Which is what I missed out on yesterday because the sale wasn't working.

    I bought a few of the "$2.99" items on December 25, along with the Tristan 8 Pro bundle (new release). The "$2.99" items were $1.67/$1.68 in the cart at that time. I honestly do not know what combo of % off resulted in that price, or if today's sale terms are the same as yesterday's.This is an excerpt from my email order history for that order.

    Thanks so much! I think there was an extra discount when you bought Tristan. I think, from what Novica and Taoz said, that these should be $2.09 or $2.10 without that added discount. Wish I had been thinking it through and bought them when I bought Tristan. But still a good price. Just got to noticing some that would work with a current project.

    Because the wording is a bit confusing, I'm not sure what I should be seeing now. After being away for a few hours, I came back and logged in, and the $2.99 items are now $2.99, along with the 1 New Item in my cart getting my 30% loyalty discount. However, the 'additional discount' of 20% - or my 30% loyalty discount - is not taken off the $2.99 items. It did on one of the previous sale days - was that a once-per-entire-sale offer or once-per-day?

    You need a linguist to parse the wording of these sales.

    Yeah...it seems to only be working with Tristan in the cart--which since I bought him yesterday means I can't get the deal to trigger today. :-/ Even with Tristan in the cart, though, it's still not getting down to the great prices from yesterday. Ah well. There' salways another sale. ;)

    Verified, a $2.99 item goes from $9.95 to $2.09 if Tristan is in the cart.  Same thing with a random new release "Cira for Genesis 8 Female "

    Price is currently dropping to $2.99 if a new release is added, but remaining at $9.95 with none. The loyalty 20% off is not applying. The Tristan Pro bundle "Get an EXTRA 20% OFF* Holiday Countdown Items" IS applying.

    Well, what I would do if I already bought Tristan is put him in the cart and screenshot that, then take him out and submit that cart to get the difference if it really adds up for you.

    Yes, I agree. Even with Daz Deals percentages displayed in the cart, It is difficult to know whether the price is correct. The sales terms and stacking rules are too convoluted, with 10% off for this and 25% off for that and 30% off for PC+ and loyalty discount and top seller discount and featured artist discount and... but not on new or PC+, even though they are shown in the list of sale items... but not Today Only... and typos and contradictions...     I don't wish the Daz store to go out of business at all. I don't believe they intend to cheat anyone. But perception is sometimes more influential than reality. It seems that a lot of forum posters are feeling cheated by sales that don't work. When people would rather dump a cart than complete a purchase because of a store that doesn't work reliably, that is troubling. When I hesitate to buy a gift card, because I wonder about the longevity of a store that works this way, that is troubling. When I am left with an uneasy feeling about whether the price was correct after a purchase, instead being left with a feeling of excitement over a new Christmas toy, that is troubling. 

    160.000+ orders since dec. 1st, that's 30.000 more than during the same period last year.  100.000+ new customers a year during the last five years (about 3.000.000 now).  Doesn't look like DAZ is having problems.

    The items are going 2.99 in the cart with a new release, but my loyalty discount isn't applying. ($2.09)

    I got the email but it says "Wrong gift card code." when I try to redeem the code sent to me.

    yeah me too, i lost a gift card and others too, it's looks like gift card is also "broken" for some peoples like us from this nightmare sales.

    You will find you actually got two emails. Gmail lumps them together, if that is what you are using. Find the second one and use it.
