    Generally, to tel the difference between HD and normals you need to be very close or to have strongly directional lighting to catch the elevated and recessed areas.     Yes, that is probably the case. I’m not using this test render for anything but it could easily be fixed in post. I just thought it was strange that that would happen on a Daz Original. Not a deal beaker since I always bring everything into post anyway, but still surprised because the expression doesn’t seem that extreme...

    This test render was originally just to compare Kimo and Sanjay's skins on the default G8M, but I ended up throwing other similar skin-tone characters into the mix, including Darius 8.

    Surprisingly, Onhazi rendered the fastest that I didn't even realize he was done. X') Sanjay was the slowest, so I'll have to figure out how to tweak his skin so it could render faster. For Maxx HD, it's tone 13 (the second darkest).

    I'd love to see a large environment (like Stonemason's 'Streets of...') for Sanjay and his (hopefully) forthcoming companion. We have plenty of Chinese stuff in the store, but I can't think of anything Indian.

    The Pro Bundle flash sale let me pick up the Landon and Sydney Pro Bundles for about $5 after taking off Sanjay's $70 discount, so picked up the Pro bundle and 2 other pro bundles for a bit over $60 with PC pricing and the $6 coupon. I'm going to have to scrimp like crazy for the rest of the month, but that was too good to pass up, particularly on a base figure I was definitely planning to pick up anyway (yay males! yay diversity!)

    As soon as the kitten wakes up and climbs off my lap so I can get to my PC, I'm going to take him for a spin :D

    So while I might not be thrilled with the "limited edition" HD Add-on, I will at least say that DAZ's support team has been as excellent as always with adding the add-on to my library after I'd missed picking it up when I bought the pro bundle. I do still hope they change the policy because I do have some concerns about the long-term feasibility for supporting products that have disappeared from the store, but at least I have the product that I was entitled to.

    How did you get it that cheap? I did two Pro Bundles and 4 addons w/the free HD, and it was $79 after tax. I'm a PC+ member and had already used my coupons. But even if I had used my coupon, I wouldn't get the price that you are saying you got.

    I did the same. I'd even emptied my cart of the Sanjay bundle and then the Pro Bundle flash sale tempted me to fill it again. I picked up the Landon 8 and Tasha 8 pro bundles.

    I went for Nix and Zelara (I already have Lee and Christian) - I almost went for Landon and Nix but decided to go with a matching couple for now.

    I did exactly the same - Owen and Tasha's Pro Bundles. (I actually had both the core characters already, but the rest of the bundles seemed more useful to me than the bundles for the characters I didn't have at all).

    I wouldn't have been too sorry with the selection I was originally considering on day one, but as those bundles actually had some of the things I was considering getting in said selection, I think I did a lot better by waiting.

    Same! Which sucks! Seems like there would be some sales structuring notes sent out to help us make the best decision available. I have been out if work since October due to a back injury and am the father of children so while I want to support things I also want to feel like I am able to make the most of my dollars.
