Quite a nice one; The deal isn't the best, but it's reasonable enough once the purple banner kicks in to appeal to my sense that I should be supporting the more diverse characters. (I would have liked to support Mr Woo, but I was completely ticked off that after weeks of being pestered to buy Bridget 8's HD add-on at a discount, the same offer wasn't applied to a character who would have much more benefitted from it. As such, he'll be picked up as and when there's a reasonable discount on the core character).
Also, I'll add that he's very useful to me as a British artist, as South Asian is the second most common ethnicity here, so to finally see it represented in a core character (with hopefully a female equivalent on the way) is particularly welcome.
I'll probably have to take a few days to decide on a cart (also, I'm away from home on a mediocre laptop, so the "I want to render that NOW" impulse isn't in play), but I'm sure I want something.
There is this Disney movie called Aladdin coming out this month. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Nice figure... too bad that I don't like too much of the stuff in the Pro and Starter pack to make it worth buying either...
And when I only put Sanjay in my cart, adding the stuff from Pro / Starter pack that I DO like doesn't count as "Sanjay Addons" so there's no price reduction...
All in all: I wishlisted the stuff I want and now wait for a better deal...

I like Sanjay. I don’t care for his outfits which is usually why I buy pro bundles since men’s clothing is so scarce. However I don’t have a pressing need for Indian fantasy garb and dforce thin clothing doesn’t work for me as well as conforming outfits. I’m thinking about it. I also think his eyebrows are kinda high for my tastes.
even the 70 percent coupon is sort of not tempting since the items on the list are full price. I still remember the days of free pro bundles...so not sure about it.

I’m glad to see the different ethnicity available. I will most likely pick up the base figure just to give myself options for creating unique characters. While the pro bundle is nicely put together, there is literally nothing in it that I would likely use so even with the purple banner discount on other content it’s not a deal that I can really justify taking advantage of. No criticism here. It’s a solid offering.

Odd, they had their regular (Platinum Club) discounts for me, and the discounts did stack. Are you sure you were actually logged in on the store page? It has a habit of logging me out once or twice a week.

It's fairly possible that the Sanjay HD will be in the store, but that they need to create a new product entry for it to actually turn into a properly priced product.

Bravo! Thank you Daz for a realistic male subcontinent character expertly executed - especially in the lips/nose. Instead of going for Bollywood features they have created a more adaptable base. As India is predicted to overtake the population of China soon - fingers crossed we explore this diverse gene pool more.

Random thoughts with Sanjay Pro Bundle in the cart:
Base character: very well done. Good skin, good face that evokes several Indian celebs without being any one of them in particular, physique that's a bit different from what we've been seeing on the Genesis 3/8 men (more typical of working class South Asians than celebrity ones) and the more useful for it.
Characters: Sai is awesome, can't place who he reminds me of-maybe a very idealised Ranbir Kapoor or a younger, very very idealized Ajay Devgan? Devansh is a great skin with a bunch of options, plus an appearance that's well-done and interesting. HD component makes it difficult for me to back-convert the morph to G3M, my preferred mode of operation, but may end up not being a priority.
Hairstyles: the dforce one is a brilliant idea; Varun hair is also nice. Reminds me of the mop cut Shahrukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor affected at different times.
Poses: excellent, well-researched and convincing.
Clothes: a couple of them involve PAs I am semi-avoiding, and the other two are not anything I have a burning need for, but they're all reasonably well-done.
Addons: the ones in my cart are the Iron-Fire outfit (thank you for the teeth/horns sizing morphs, think they'll come in handy) and its texture set, plus Raj (well-done Raziel/Silver character), and the texture set for the Alpha Male outfit, on the grounds that of the couple of Pro Bundle outfits I was interested in, it was going to look less good with shader presets.
Sigh. If I pull the trigger I really will have to stay away from here for the next few weeks, and not buy anything else.
I love his looks, especially his smile! The deal is not the greatest compared to past deals even with the $70 off since most of the choices are full price (with regular PC discount,) but I do really like the character!
This is the best smile I’ve seen on a male Genesis character of any generation. Definitely a hottie here!

Interesting. I just purchased the Sanjay 8 Base character and still got the HD add on for free.
This is a very northern Indian style character, very Bollywood in appearance, which makes the lack of diversity in northern Indian style clothing with this pro bundle or even as add-ons very disappointing. When I visited in the north last year, traditional and modernized takes on traditional clothing are still very evident in contrast to further south in Hyderabad where WalMart type twill cotton pants and cotton t-shirts were much more prevalent.
I'm guessing a female Indian pro bundle is on the way so I hope for more traditional Indian clothing with it. The clothing and local architectural styles are the hard part, as these types of Indian characters have been easily doable over a year now since the G8M and DO Head / Body / Expressions packages were made available.
That said, the characters are well modeled.
Its on my wish list but only after Floyd, Mabel, Mrs Chow, Mr Woo. LOL, yes, I'm poor because there is big doubt I buy all that before Genesis 9 comes out even if Genesis 9 isn't coming out til sometime next year.

whats the lowest price for pro bundle? Right now I have $46 with 4 adds in my cart. The entire deal is $72. Haven't added the DO stuff yet but $72 seems pretty high overall compared to previous pro bundle sales.
$42 for Pro bundle if I apply $6 PC+ coupon, but then it isn;t using full vaslue of coupon becasue of free HD addon ...
Yes, I think that's right - the best I get is 46.29 for Sanjay 8 Pro Bundle and with four of the cheapest add-ons (texture sets and/or expressions) the total is coming in at $66.81 for me. (I only have $79 credit left for the month so I'm having to think hard....)
