...in the background of my story they became the North American aerospace giant. all thanks to one man....

...Mr Howard Hughes (oh and a bit more foresight).

In early the1950s Avro Canada designed and built a prototype for a medium range jet airliner called the C-102 Jetliner. Being a pretty decent pilot himself, he actually test flew the prototype and planned to introduce them into service with TWA which he owned at the time (ahh those "heady" days). Unlike the early Comets, The C-102 didn't have the design flaws that resulted in several catostophic failures and would have been incredibly successful...

...that is had the government of Canada not pulled the plug on the project.

In my story world Hughes gets his wish and Avro Canada goes on to become North America's most successful civil airliner engineering company merging with other Canadian aircraft firms through the years to finally form Marathon Aerotek in the early 2000s.

I think this will be the basic suit. I still need to model his new helmet, chest piece and backpack.
The suit is Smay's Superhero suit for G2 M.

Very Cool!...I was playing around with some Captain Canuck textures a while back...just never got around to finishing them.

Guess 1993 came and went and Canada still isnt the global super power that the original series pegged it as being ;)

Give us a little longer, everything takes time. ;-)
Adding to the Avro info, the Avro CF-105 ("Avro Arrow" advanced jet fighter) would have made a huge splash, and the VZ-9 Avrocar (flying saucer) still sends tingles down my spine.

"The world's a big place... sometimes it needs a little help".

Grabbed 3djoji's The Little Heroes for Toon Generations today as soon as it hit the store, love it.
The package is full of little add-ons that make super-hero stuff easier for the TGs, and there's a batch of little bit and bobbles (visor, helmets, armour, shoulder braiding/paldrons) that make retro sci fi characters easier to do.
A quick, Toon Gen version of "One-Eye" battling a giant robot, no post.

Since most people here probably aren't interested in the Toon Generations models, I'm posting another superhero pict that also appears in one of the Toon Gen threads showing off some of the bits from 3djoji’s The Little Heroes set.
Here's a quick Gim "Colossal Boy" Allon of the Legion of Little-Heroes visiting the planet of the centaurs

Neat team-up, but I especially like Oliver, you've really captured the TV character. Well-done!

Thanks Walt, sorry for the late reply.
The figures are game models, so i had little to do with the likeness, I find that there are some great likenesses in game figures, more so than poser figures in most cases.

No real story in mind here, though I can think of a half dozen reasons Jenn might want to punch Stark :P. This was my first completed render in Iray and I wanted to use She-Hulk's Suit and Ironman's armor to show off Iray Shaders. She-Hulk suit has the rubber shaders (white is matte and purple shin), the zipper is a brushed metal. Iron-Man I use the gold Shader and modified it to suit the look I wanted more, similarly I used the car pain with small flecks and modified the color scheme, the silvery metal bits are the platinum shader and of course his glowy bits are the emissive shader re colored with various tweaks to the light intensity. I have to Say the Emissive shader is my favorite simply because it acts as a light source ^_^

The Ironman Suit is the Freebie from inLite Studios

Wasn't Tiki Beach the title for one of those Marvel Super Summer Pinup Specials?

Dunno, though I did this figure with normal skin when I was think of selling her. I called her Boudicca at the time and posed her in a similar way with the same backdrop.

Just to join the fun, thanks to the Gen2M Lizardian, here you have Dr. Connors aka The Lizard. Not the greatest render in the world (my old PC does not like fancy stuff like HD morps or SSS) but good enough to be shown I think.

Nicely done! I would love to see a tussle with this guy and a Spiderman in a scene.

Say, has DAZ made any noises on a new supersuit for G2M and G2F?

I would be a customer, for sure.

WOOOOOWWW ... what a great picture of Arrow and Canary. Love the clothes of Arrow. I'm a big fan of the TV series and your clothes looks very much like the originals, that Stephen Amell wears in the series. I wish I could get this clothes too. Did you create them by yourself?

Thanks Spanky!, big fan of the TV show also. The Arrow figure is a rigged game mesh imported into 3DSMax and posed there. Then subdivided and imported into DS as an .obj
