How do I respond to someone who said I do a lot of lying. I said I did not see the water on the counter which was the truth. I was not saying the water was not there. I was saying I did not see it. She said something to the kin of hope God does not slap me because I do a lot of lying. I did not know what to say that would not make the situation better. I do not say a lot of lies. I do not appreciate her saying that. I only stay quiet because of two reasons. I know this is not a long term living arrangement but temporary and saying something might make the wait getting out longer and more unbearable. Two I do not see any positive outcome by explaining myself as she will see it probably as arguing.
there is no point on going down to the level of fools as they have more experience of being fools.

Hm, I actually feel I'm being cooked in my home.
When I lived in Washington, DC we had one of those picturesque 3-story old brick townhouses with the cast iron steps up to the entry door on the main floor, built in the Victorian era. No insulation, big windows that we wouldn't open because of the noise & dust and didn't dare open or leave unlocked because it wasn't the nicest of neighborhoods at the time.
During the summer it was like a pizza oven in there. We had one big A/C unit in the large bedroom which by the end of the 1st summer we had practically turned into a one room apartment closed off from the rest of the house. The rest of the house where most of our collections of things were, was a cross between a museum and sauna, only ventured into early in the morning or late at night.
I feel like I get grilled in my home. 0.o wait that has nothing to do with heat or cold but with attitude of staff.
Complaint: I was browsing through the local movie theater website and spied a tempting movie to go see today on my trip uptown. I checked the times and decided that I would go. Then I started to think, "didn't I see this recently?". So, I checked the trailer for it and to my dismay I realized that "yes", I saw it ("Mission Impossible: Fallout") just last week and reported on it here in these forums.
I'm beginning to dread the days when I will be unable to remember things like that.
Non-complaint: I've been going though these boxes of old photographs of 65 years of personal memories, and realized that at one time I was not as geeky, grumpy and gray as I've remembered myself. Who's that handsome happy guy in the photo, the one with lots of hair and all the friends?
do they take taxes from disability cheques?
I have not seen mission impossible yet.
Assuming you mean Social Security, then, no, it is not deucted from your check unless you opt for some amount to be deducted. However, some or all of the the disability payments may be taxable.
Non-complaint: I may not have any more hair but at least I don't have bad hair days like this one in 1974
I guess it was kind'a windy. See, I've told you I went through a hippie period.
not ss, permanent disability and medicaid.
is so complex
Ah, but the bright side is that you can see the same movies over and over and enjoy them as if it was the first time!
My daddy always called them baby cabbages. Way after I was grown, while going through the line at Luby's Cafeteria, Daddy was taking a long time to make his choices. Finally he leaned over to me and whispered, "Baby, what's the real name for those baby cabbages?"
My friend used to say, "You can hide your own Easter eggs!"

HAHAHHA that's great!
I sometimes forget stuff places. I left my iPad in my mum's car today. I left my coffee at the front desk of the outdoor pool. It did not take long for me to realize it was missing and that is where it was.
I got two (actually three) calendars and I cannot remember putting the two pack KItten calendars into my basket. I paid for them but still confusing.
I remembered why I rented that movie. so Mum can see it.
nother trip back from the eye doctor, not fun
this the stuff they injecting https://www.eylea.us/
hearing thundahs outside
I need to see my eye doctor as I need new glasses or mine fixed. If I look down too much with my current glasses, they fall off my face.
I hate that! It's been happening to me, too. I think it's just an adjustment they have to make, maybe tighten the screws of the hingels.

I hate it too. That is why I have to decide between doing house cleaning or wearing glasses. (The house needs to be cleaned still.)
The staff who has been harrassing me has gone to the hosptial for something most likely unrealted to me but related to her health issues.
...depending on the state. If you exceed the supplemental income allowable (for me it's an extra 11,000$, yeah won't make anywhere near that in year on art commissions) then you become liable for having to pay actual income tax on the supplemental income and having your benefits reduced.
...100° predicted for tomorrow. Then after Thursday a 2 day respite before back to the mid/upper 90s again beginning this weekend into next week. Third day of hazy smoky skies and orange sky mornings/evenings. We are just not getting a real break here.
