I don't like cabbage, either. Except in its infant form...Brussels Sprouts!
Dana
Pot roast is done in a pot (casserole) with liquid Veg on the bottom meat lightly sealed on all sides in a frying pan with hot oil, put on top of veg and add liquid. Can be just water (boring) or wine, stock, or broth. lid put on. Slow cooked. Can be done in a slow cooker, one of the plug in ones.
Don't like boiled cabbage ,love saute cabbage ,chopped up sauted until tender in a little veggie oil ,just add salt and pepper ,mmmmm also like properly done brussel sprouts too

Complaint: Tired of the forum signing me out! For no reason! Has nothing to do with making a purchace, because I have made no purchase! I was on and posted earlier, so not even a half day has gone by. Never signed me off after such a short period before, and this crap started happening a couple months ago. Before that I never had the problem at all.
I just refreshed the Bookmarks page, threads with new posts showed up, so I clicked on one...Signing you out... Really annoying now!
Dana
I like boiled cabbage. Add lots of black pepper. Yum.
Very annoying
..TY. Feet still aching today.but my walking speed has almost returned to normal.
...
...back into the 90s today here, and for most of the coming week with Thursday and Friday being close to 100°.
Finally got my appetite back only to have it wither again as well as having to endure more sleepless nights.
...love it in stir fries and "Wisconsin" slaw (made with vinegar instead of mayo). Boiled or fermented (like kimchi) ugh.
"(Der) Steppenwolf" is originally the title of a novel by Herman Hesse, the band actually took their name from that novel.

Somehow a baby fish appeared in my aquarium. Is it there because of the usual suspects (guppies) or because of the platies?
omg that makes so much sense, rpast in a pot
brussel sprouts is baby cabbages?!
and guppies arent seamonkies
Sea Monkeys are a brand name for Brine Shrimp. Guppies are a popular live bearing fish. Basically Guppies love Brine Shrimp (Sea Monkeys)
My hopes is to move out some time early next year of this #$@%! group home. When I do, I am hoping to use one of my betta tanks to raise brine shrimp for the guppies.
brine is the stuff to make pickles?
year is flying, seeing halloween stuff out. can only eat virtual kitkatts these days .
Complaint: Upgraded to Windows 10 and I don't especially like it but I don't want to rollback to Windows 7 because support will be ending soon. I wish Microsft had kept a good OS when they had one.
No. Brussel sprouts are their own veggie and grow on a stalk.

Cabbage grows individually as a "head" just like you see in the grocers.

So, not exactly baby cabbage, but...baby cabbage.
Dana
Actually, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, collard greens, kohlrabi and kale are all selective breeding descendents of the wild cabbage which I believe I saw a YouTube about saying was a descendent of the mustard plant.

I think Windows 10 Pro is fine. But I don't use it in Tiles mode, I use it like the Older Windows, with the desktop and icons and such. You have a choice for the interface. The Pro version is definitely better than the Home version, though. I always advise people to go with the Pro version. You get more control over things. Though that's getting a bit more difficult to figure out how.
