Likely as not all the PC+ items on sale today will be on sale for a lot less during the PC+ sale in October, so only really worth picking up if you need them now.
The 40% instead of 30% is at least stacking with the Genesis 2/3 megasale, so for example all the pro packs are now around 24$ (if you buy 4+ items), where as yesterday they were 28.
You can defy physics, do a little time traveling today, and already use the September coupons. ;)
Yep that was what I was thinking. The 50 cents off a PC item is not worth it today when the PC anniversary sale is coming.

It can be combined with yesterday's sale. For me, that, along with next month's coupon, brings Ophelia 7 into the price range where I can finally get her. Luckily, I have exactly 4 wishlisted DOs from yesterday's sale, and this brings them down to 84% off.
Does anyone know if the PC Membership renewal is likely to drop to a cheaper price in the near future? I normally renew quarterly .
There's no saying for sure, but PC sales are in a month, and there usually are very big discounts to memberships then.

On the other hand, discounts on PC+ items are kinda rare. If the big one wasn't hitting in a month, getting $0.50 off things that are normally $1.99 isn't bad.
Oh, great. Some of what I bought for the big sales yesterday is discounted more today. Back to filing another ticket.

PA sale start is in September, but often runs for 5 or even 6 weeks, so may leak into October as well. PC+ sale starts straight after the PA one ends. In theory it starts on the 1st of October, but in reality the PA sale normally overruns meaning the PC+ sale starts in early/mid October and can run till mid November. Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales hit at the end of that month, so really you can say that Sep->Nov is one big sale (although they can be upstaged by the sale in December, so really the sale runs for 4 months before the return of "normal" sales in January)
PC+ sale is naturally more focused on PC+ and DO items, but older PA items can also get some large discounts.
Here you go. Pop over, in my Art Studio thread I posted a typical order from the September sale last year, and it has the PC Annual Membership in it. (I looked until I found that one, it will answer your question about what you could have gotten it for had you bought it in the sale last September.) If you want to play along and post some of your orders (HERE, not on my thread), you need your email of the order because that shows the actual price you paid. Then you need to go to My Account and get the regular price from there. (Then I went into Source, above, and took out all the table formatting). Hope this helps!

@orpheus13 All sales are different, they rarely do the same thing twice, so you never know. But yes, December has really good sales too!

For the size of the discounts (ie many were 90%+) yes, but the sale was pretty chaotic, and it was hard to see the difference between intended discounts, and numerous glitches.
The only certainty is that money will move from your bank account to DAZ's. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. But never the other direction. :-)
So man strategy would be to buy PA in september, PC in october and "whatever" in december, while also checking that items bought in the previous 30 days wouldn't be less expensive in december (and if they are ask for refund of the difference) ?
LOL- there's good sales in November too. Around Thanksgiving/ holidays you can count on sales of some sort.
Edit- I just checked my orders and saw several around that time- so checking on those, they were 67% off.

It probably won't be cheaper in October; it's way too new and the 80% discount is already enhanced from the normal PC+ price because it's new.
I think you mean November. Though I seem to recall there was that one year when it got started late and ended late on account of the PA sale being delayed or extended or some such. It may have run into December sales that year., was long ago and I am too tired to run my brain properly at the moment so I might just be a wee bit fuzzy about that.
no, it's brand new, released this week. New items are generally excluded from sales.
Well it stacks with the Mega Sale so I'm pretty happy to have just gotten all the pro bundles I was missing for under $25.
