Slightly disappointed. Promo torday offers one free item with sale. None ist showing. Logged out, yes, there are 4 items, which I own already. Just 4. So todays offer is just for DAZ beginners. No incentive for olt-time bulge buyers.

    Same here.

Just wondering though whether I should get Easy Shape Master or just wait for Zev0"s shape Master and Growing Up products?

So can someone clarify the expected differences between the Easy Shape Master - Age and the Growing Up?

  • TooncesToonces Posts: 919

Growing up usually goes from age 5 to adult. Easy shape master goes from preteen to elderly. So, at first glance, looks like the age ranges are slightly different.

ZEVO also has aging morphs to add elderly component. And skins for growing up.

And Growing Up also includes morphs to adjust the posture, head and body weight of the children as well as the main, child to adult, age morph. (I don't know if Easy Shape Master has something like that or not.)

AFAIK: The Easy Shape Master is a series of presets for the Head and Body morphs.

"This product takes over this work for you by utilizing dozens of the Head- and Body morphs and making the needed adjustments to the character's shape."

Whereas the Growing Up and Aging morphs from Zev0 Are original sculpted morphs.

Check out the store page promos for each to get an idea of what you're getting.

Yeah I almost bought it, then realized I had to buy the head and body morphs for it to work.  Growing Up doesn't require additional morphs to work and is also MR.

I was just about to check out, but noticed that Raiya's bundles aren't discounting properly anymore...? It doesn't qualify for -40% (-60% with new release), but instead shows up as... -38% with new release?

Which promo is affecting Raiya's store?

Sorry; Raiya and Outoftouch have bundles that are co-authored. Those bundles aren't receiving the discounts for some reason, as OOT is a part of the current Michael 8 Featured Artist Catalog...

edit: To be more clear, I saw them listed with -40% in OOT's catalog when I added to cart. That discount seems to have disappeared for some reason.

I did not like the body staying young, when the face went old, when I bought the Easy Shape Master for the gals. I am actually thinking about returning it. The arms look really stupid- no sagging at all for the elderly??? It makes it look like a head plopped on the wrong body IMO.

You need to wait for Zev0's aging morphs, then. The Eazy Shape products only dial the Daz head and body morphs, so they are limited to what those provide.

Given the product is only using the standard head/body morphs to create the young/old aging then certain comprimises will have been made. As such, products like this are really a stop gap solution until the Zev0 releases the Growing Up and Aging packs for Genesis 8. These morphs will change the age with full body morphs, and adjust the rigging so that bending is better whilst the morphs are dialled in.

Having said that, I think this product has done a good job with the elderly face, and a lot of fiddling with the head morphs would be needed to create a similar effect. However, for the reasons you stated, the body would need to be fully clothed, or it would look odd with the face.

Can anyone here give me an insight into the September Sale discounts? Have they been historically huge? Should PC+ people expect discounts of over 70%?

This is fixed now, thanks Richard :)

Greebles 3 looks like a great deal. I didn't see the resolution mentioned. Would you to know what it is?

Flash Sale doesn't seem to be working for me. Two new releases in cart, and any item from the sale remains at 50% instead bumping to 60%. Tried this with different items, different new releases, etc., can't get the bonus to trigger.

EDIT: After poking about a little more, it's only items from Josh Crockett that aren't getting the bonus; they stay at 50%.

Got  a great deal on Dine on the Orient - new item from PC+ (which I wanted anyway) got me the 60% off - then added the 'Iray addon & Dinner Service' bundle but applied my PC+ '6 off 18' coupon to basically get that addon bundle for $.99. (or $3 off two items, however you want to look at it)

On the mega weekend day 2 it says get an extra 20 % off the featured artist catalogs if you own michael 8 base (which I do)
but all the artist catalog models I put in my cart are only showing 52% discount.  Is this broken or is the discount calculated differently?  Shouldn't it be a total of 60% off?  Thanks in advance for any help

    It's extra percentage off, so: 100 * 0.6 * 0.8 / 100 - 1 = -0.52 (or 52% off). Clear as mud? ;)

    What's "resolution" in this context?
My main gripe is that they seem to be all one surface, so applying different textures to different parts is a real pain.
And no morphs, so it is impossible to elevate guns in turrets, or rotate radar dishes.
There are a lot of them, though.
