Thanks for the reply! smiley  I'm temted to buy Wear them all, but I wish it could autofit dresses better, I don't know enough about 3D to use Blender and Z brush, and I'm not sure how to use smoothing.

I'm interested in this dress: https://www.daz3d.com/alice-for-aiko but only if it can be used on Genesis 3 Female.

As for smoothing, the product includes a PDF that explains how autofit works, how smoothing and SubD work and I've included a chapter under "How to enhance your results after autofitting" with screenshots and some of my own personal workflow using these features, I hope that helps, I tried to make it as simple to understand as possible :)

Also SickleYield's smoothers for dresses/tunics can help a lot, I warmly recommend it, it adds extra features to handle dresses and skirts movements and fit better :)

I am SOOOO HAPPY that this product came out :D I don't have to autofit to Genesis anymore! I'll have to test it out at home to see how it handles mesh distortion of certain items, of course...

Are there any plans for a V2/V1 autofit clone? Hmmmmmm? winklaugh

Haha, I pull the breaks on going as far back into the past to Generation 3, so unfortunately there won't be Vicky 1 and 2 :)

This is great! I have more A3 and V3 clothes than anything else! Woohoo! :D

Awwww it was worth a try :) I guess I'll have to stick to my old workflow for the occasional V2 item...

Also, for that dress auto-fit posted earlier, that's always going to be an issue when working with dresses, even as recent as V4 because of the bones and mesh distortion around the hips/legs. I've always stuck to pants and other conforming clothing from previous generations because of this :(

I hear you with that and there is no easy-out of the box way to fix it automaticaly except for adding smoothing and hoping for the best. I have a few solutions down my sleeve for old hairs and Victoria 4 heels in particular, to not loose the bones on hairs when fitting and save old shoes from distorting, but versions of those solutions are still very rough and I only use them in my personal projects for now.

For skirts it would require a specific projection template (like those where you select what type of clothing you are fitting) and Sickle has done a great job with hers, much better than I can make. I haven't fiddled much with templates myself, at least noto to satisfying success yet, two generations in a row now, as I've made my first clones for Genesis 2 but wasn't confident enough to become a vendor yet back at the time :)

Yeah, IIRC one of the generations had a separate autofit clone explicitly for V4 dresses/skirts but I can't remember which generation it was off the top of my head. Genesis? G2?

J Cade (I think) did a step-by-step post showing how to create a dress/skirt specific clone in blender. This fixes the dress/skirt issues (see attached).

However if you've never used blender before, it's...tricky. The good thing is that once you create the 'mermaid' clone, you never have to touch blender again (tho it is a pretty nifty free program).

Ok, let me get this straight. This product allows me to use Kids 4, Victoria 3, Michael 3, Aiko 3, Hiro 3, Freak 3, Stephanie 3 and David 3 clothing on Genesis 3?

Yep. I was already doing this by autofitting to genesis and then saving and autofitting to genesis 3, but this will save me a step and some disc space.

yes what I do, I made clones for all my people using GenX but the Genesis 3 ones for V3, A3 etc  were less than satisfactory the K4 etc ones fine so may one day grab this too.

You have made my day!  I use Wear Them All almost every time I do a render and am so thrilled I can now use even more items of clothing.  It flew in to my cart.  Thank you!!!!!!

    AWESOME ^^

I just there was something like this for G2F. The character that I created using G2F as a base would've looked great in some of Aiko's clothing.

Once you save the item on G3F as a wearable or prop, it's essentially a G3F item.

From there, I'm sure there's a product that lets G2F wear G3F clothing (G2F users would know). If not, I'm sure GenX could create a decent clone for G2F from G3F to let wear the G3F Aiko clothes.

Granted, these aren't one-click solutions...just thinking out loud.

Sickleyield has G3 to Genesis examples.

Back and forth is pretty well covered.

I believe it was on Genesis 2 if I'm not mistaking but it basically did the very similar thing Sickle integrated into her pack for Genesis 3 :)

By the way thanks to everyone for this thread and so many comments, it really feels good seeing the excitement and glad to see so many fans of my Wear Them All's!

There's no doubt I'll be buying this, but I'm not expecting perfect results every time. In the promo pics there are non minor issues with geometry clashing in the under-shoulder areas of some of the converted clothes.

This really boosts the opportunities for kitbashing, even if sometimes it has to be for background characters.

    Yay.

I've faced the issue with refitting male pants (those for M3 and Hiro 3) to Genesis 3 male as most old clothes had an extra "bulge" in the area which made bulge more visible when fitted to Genesis 3 who is not as Ken-doll looking as the old Mike. In that case you can use the crotch fixers included in the male Wear Them All (first one) and pull the bulge in a little. Shoulders on Mike 3 were a bit inflated, but Uzilite especially had that fixed in his clothes to make it look better, and most of Uzilite stuff will not show that difference on shoulders on refit.

Rest of result as said earlier in the thread mainly depends on the geometry of original clothing and how it will behave when transferred, some will behave better than others :) This is literally bridging the decade in figure evolution, I always suggest adding subD and smoothing after refitting to get the clothes looking better and get that geometry to be more fitting to how far current generation has come in years.

Please don't take my comment too heavily. It is amazing that clothing for such different figures can be made to fit as well as it does, and your product is a great achievement.

Oh no I didn't, sorry if I sounded like that!! I havent had much sleep so I may sound a bit off :) I'm trying to share as many tips and experiences as I can with you guys here before I faint to sleep, lol, I'm loving this thread today and I feel I've not been around here as I should've with the first packs :)

Posted this in the Iray thread but thought you guys would be interested in it here. This is Aiko7 and (guy Aiko7, forgot his name) wearing M4 Rapier and Claymore armor, reskinned and fitted using Fit Them All. Some peices were a bit troublesome, but these are complex meshes trying to simulate hard objects, and Fit Them All seems to want to conform everything around the body, even when the original mesh stands away from the body. The Claymore chest I gave up on because it completely falls apart (like, literally it shreds around the collarbone) but overall it does a great job.

    I tried a K4 dress on G3F. See attached.

Still happy I bought it since it's nice to have the extra clones for older clothing. zbrush, blender, smoothing, etc can be used to help with the stretching that remains (though it would be cool if a weight mapping template was available to fix the issue).

...yeah stretching of the front and back centre panel seems to be an issue with older generation skirts and autrofit.

Hey, since we're talking about old content and stuff, does anyone know where the clothing in this product's promo comes from? https://www.daz3d.com/dms-mixed-fantasy It was in today's sale, but I've never seen these outfits before...

...so is there any good way to solve the mesh stretching of a skirt without resorting to a modelling or sculpting programme?

She's wearing Martian Princess for V4, I believe. (which you can fit to G3F with Wear them All G3F ) but I'm not sure on his outfit. I recognize it, but can't place it.

edit: ah I think this is it Notthar Armour for M3...which you can fit to G3M with Wear them All Expansion *grin*

Mixed fantasy is a great set. The poses alone are worth it!

M3 is wearing Northar Armor. Here it is on Raj for G3M in Iray (using the old way, which is why the boots are loose.)

Not sure yet on what V3 is wearing. That could be from Rendo. Looks like Powerage or an old Aeon Soul outfit. It reminds me of the Kali for V4 outfit from RDNA that didn't move over. I'll let you know if I come across it.

I've got the new Wear Them All in my cart, and am having fun looking through the 85% off stuff. I've been looking at this old stuff for a long time and today's discounts are some of the best I've seen.

Totally stoked on this!  I never retired a lot of my Gen 3 stuff since the footwear autofit much better to Genesis than Gen 4 shoes did and there are still a few items that have never been duplicated from that era.  That said,  there are a lot of crossfiting options still out there to go from Miki, Jesse, Terai Yuki, etc., to the Gen 3 girls, so this is really going to do wonders for ressurecting those runtimes. :)

I know! Can this "mermaid clone" be made available to us who can't do stuff in blender? I saw the tutorial and I just can't get my 53 year old brain around figuring out another program.
