This started out as a test on some boots I had just installed. Then decided to try out the skin from a new character I had bought earlier (Divina - Rendo) and it took on a life of her own, LOL

I agree I like that skin color with the white too very sexy

REALLY happy how this came out. Picked up a mech from another site, really impressed.

+Abandoned City and Cthulhu and Iray Skies from Daz.

    .

    This took sooo much work.

I'm still debating doing something like this with geografts, but it looks likely I'd have to completely redo the rigging on the arms and oh my, that... no.

Another option is doing some sort of extensive morph for Genesis 3, which at least has toes fully rigged, make some sort of hand-like foot.

The biggest problem is clothing. The groin/rear is all wacky with intersection, and any attempt to fit something to the lower figure just messes up at the neck, so I had to place and pose pants.

As for 'whyyyy,' it's a somewhat recurring idea in scifi that humans who spend most of their lives in microgravity might be served by genetic alteration to have four arms rather than wasteful legs just dangling uselessly.

    Hands up!

That looks great! And the hands for feet thing was really cool too.

Kudos, DZFire. I needed a model like this for a project, and... the https://www.daz3d.com/escort-ndn might be almost 10 years old. The attention to details like moving wings and engines, and similar, really makes it a solid product even now.

The ONLY downside is that it can't take SubD, but a lot of models have that issue.

Some Urban Future 5 renders. Don't forget to click for hi-rez laugh

Only post is crop/light vignette/slight color boost.

No post, all fit on a 4gb 1050ti without using the texture reduction script on anything surprise

Also no post, just some tweaks in DAZ using Iray Light Manager Pro.

All renders used sun/scene with sun on horizon, figures had additional box lighting.

2 renders with very much the same workflow... and very different resuts

And now my blender plug... both of these were tonemapped and heavily composited in blender! The haze, the glow on the lights, the much nicer tonal range, Blender!

For posterity I have attached what actually got spit out of Iray for the second render... not nearly as pretty

Playing with materials got a lil wierd...

The first, oldest, 'worst' greeble city blocks still look pretty darn cool, IMO.

I've had trouble with shots like this. First pass, it just looks bland and vague. Second pass, it looks like I'm taking a shot of miniature models. Third pass... I guess it looks right. Trying to get that realistic look that requires juuuust the right amount of depth and haze.

...works pretty well.  I still use the originals often mixed with the newer ones and the Utopia structures to get a variance in styles

...is your format extension .jpg, .jpeg or .jpe?  That could make a difference.
