..that's really cool.  Did you use the Mec4D PBR sahadsers 3?

    This took sooo much work.

I'm still debating doing something like this with geografts, but it looks likely I'd have to completely redo the rigging on the arms and oh my, that... no.

Another option is doing some sort of extensive morph for Genesis 3, which at least has toes fully rigged, make some sort of hand-like foot.

The biggest problem is clothing. The groin/rear is all wacky with intersection, and any attempt to fit something to the lower figure just messes up at the neck, so I had to place and pose pants.

As for 'whyyyy,' it's a somewhat recurring idea in scifi that humans who spend most of their lives in microgravity might be served by genetic alteration to have four arms rather than wasteful legs just dangling uselessly.

..I like it but agreed, must be a posing nightrmare.

I'm always very impressed with your modifications, very cool!

Thanks! Still debating about whether I can improve things by adapting a foot or geografts. Back and forth about it. hrm.

Another option would be simply detaching hands and posing them, and then 'glue' them on to the ends of legs as needed... hrm. Maybe the Severed Man stuff...

Another 4 arm experiment. Changed my approach, works a lot easier. I created one figure per extra arm, which worked better. (Previous effort I tried to have one figure providing both lower arms, and that was just... problematic)

Creeeeeepy but cool at the same time. Reminds me of that character in Aeon Flux that has hands for feet.

Thanks, kyoto kid. On Draupadi, I have just used HP Prototype XT-4, the second of the available full presets.
On hair and clothes, I have just moved the slider for metallicity to 1.
I like, how much such simple adjusting change the look of clothes and hair.

Thanks a lot, nonesuch00. I have found world of metallics pretty much fascinating.

I highly recommend playing around with metallic flakes. It's not just 'another version of metal,' you can do some amazing things with it.

It sounds interesting, Will. Do you have some examples to show up?

Well, nothing really dramatic, but if you add metallic flakes, increase the size to .1, and play around with colors, you can see some weird possibilities immediately.

Also, if you experiment with thin film, Metallic Flakes Thin Film seems to have much more colorful/obvious effects than Base Thin Film; I use it as an important part of my Soap Bubble shader.

An island girl catches a crab   ( iRAY Animation )  #Gallery Post
This is just a test. I created 8 scenes testing Iray Iteration settings for animation in daz studio. this was done using a EVGA 980ti SC .The first scene I started with 35 iterations took 2 hours for a 150 key-frames . Last scene was 3500 Iterations . took 2 1/2 hours for the same amount of keyframes . . instead of making a stupid girl walking across a blank screen I threw all the test scenes together an came up with this silly animation.
    Created with DAZ STUDIO iRAY

This started out as a test on some boots I had just installed. Then decided to try out the skin from a new character I had bought earlier (Divina - Rendo) and it took on a life of her own, LOL
