Teobaldo - thank you. I am sorry to hear about your loss. These moments are not easy. I wish you and your family comfort and peace and hope this painful time will be over soon.

The centre statue is from the Stanford 3D Scanning Repository, at left and right an instance. The material is from Fifty Funky Shapes and Fifty Funky Metals, for the instances only the colour for Diffuse were changed. They stand on the ground plane with some transparency and reflection. In the back a 2D Face as mirror. Background and ambient light by the unpublished Anteroom2vrNW HDRI. No sun, no haze. Thai statues (Stanford xyzrgb_Statuette).

The terrain was self made and given a modified material from High Resolution Terrains 1. The water is the ground plane with my material, a bit below a mirroring ground plane. Sky and ambient light by the SunSet HDRI from HDRI Enhanced Skies and the key light by the sun. A pond in a low ground of the green vegetated hills.

Magnificent landscape Horo, amazing work as always.

Once again I used one of your ideas - the abstract – Funky Shape on page 43.  I used the same shape the OctoInterLoop1, but the materials, Hdri (Alienroom) and GWL lens setup are different. I like the result and will try the same setting with other objects and Hdris.

mermaid - thank you. Your abstract looks really great. Yes, do use other objects and HDRIs. There are so many possibilities. Some small changes can result in a completely new result.

Thanks Horo and thanks for the inspiration too.

Teobaldo -  my condolences to you and your family. Please keep the memory in your hearts - that's the way.

To everyone else - sorry I've been not active due to health problems (which, in turn, make bad influence on my job etc.) and various difficulties with WWW access and other unrelated stuff. I've been watching you posting renders and times, and they are all beautiful in various ways.

Also please don't worry about the zine project - sorry about such slow progress. If you're an active Brycer and haven't participated yet feel free to ask me for details.

I doubt I'll be able to finish it for 30 years of PC version of Bryce 2, though (2nd october, I presume).

    Best wishes to you all~

The terrain was modified from a crater by Criss333 and given a material from High Resolution Terrains 4. The two planets and the stars are from the Space Construction Kit. The a bit modified Bubble City On Stand is from Deep Space HDRI 2. Sky and ambient light by the DS-Sky01 HDRI from the Deep Space HDRI 1 and the key light by the sun. A city in an old caldera on a far away planet.

The terrain was modified from a crater by Criss333 and given a material combined from Gritstone Hills and High Resolution Terrains 4. Sky and ambient light by the unpublished ErmClouds09_SD HDRI and the key light by the sun. A region with mountain peaks and green land before the rain.

The stones were replicated and are inside a sphere, the material for both the stones and the sphere is 50% transparent and 50% reflective. Lighting from an Hdri from Hyper Texture Base,

    Great looking colourful abstract mermaid.

The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 1 with a material combined from Gritstone Hills and Grand Mountains, the water is the ground plane with my material. In front of the camera a red filter from Lenses and Filters. Sky and ambient light by the ArtFlood-A_SD HDRI from High Resolution Terrains 4 and the key light by the sun. Teobaldo, my condolences. Always a difficult time, losing someone. Keep the good memories in mind.

Health is most important, Past as Future. Hope things are getting better.

Been on holiday without laptop. Not surprised to see a couple of great landscape renders by Horo and some marvelous abstracts by mermaid010. And the statues, as rendered by Horo, look very good too.

Before my holiday, I created a couple of renders that I did not yet show. Here are two of them. The first one is a modfied version of a scene from the Atmo set of RajRaja. I deleted the cities, added a bridge and a tower and modified the materials of the terrains. I kept the atmosphere as made by RajRaja, but with very small modifications. The second one is a modified version of a terrain from the Bryce Pro Landscapes by David Brinnen. I slightly modified the point of view and the atmosphere and I chose a different texture.

Hansmar - thank you and welcome back. Two very nice landscape renders, the first looks moody and the second may be a bit difficult to wander through the vale up to the pass in the distance.

Four reflecting tori are with the camera within a stretched sphere with transparency and reflection but without refraction. Light and colour by the WpH56_SC HDRI from Hyper Textures Base, no sun. Rendered as 360° Panoramic Projection in 96 seconds. A construct of bent coloured rings.
