The terrain is from High Resolution Terrains 1 with a material from High Resolution Terrains 2. The water is the ground plane with my material. Sky and ambient light by the ErmClouds12_SD HDRI from Grand Mountains and the key light by the sun. A small lake in a rough valley with steep mountains.

    Thanks, NGArtplay, Horo and mermaid010.

    Fantastic landscape render again, Horo!

I played with abstracts again. Used 'Odd world nr. 5' in the center. Made it semitransparent and added a red spherical light inside. Surrounded it by a number of fully reflective spheres. In the first one, there is a plane above and below, each tilted so that they for a wedge with the sharp end behind the scene. The second one is the same, but without the planes.

Both your abstracts are magnificent, Hansmar, the planes made an amazing difference between both renders.

    Thank you mermaid.

Hansmar - thank you. Interesting setup for an abstract and two very nice results.

Here’s the TreeGrass exercise. I found it tricky to get good grass, but fun to do nonetheless. The material for the mountains is from Hi-Res 3, lit by an Hdri from Hi-Res 4. I scattered some daisies by Esha and added two trees from the Vegetation pack.

Hansmar, that abstract looks deadly and beautiful at the same time.

    Wonderful atmosphere, Horo.

Mermaid, beautiful spot for a picnic.

mermaid - that looks like a very beautiful place. The daisies in the grass enhances the scene, also the the trees at te sides. Very nicely done scene.

    NGartplay - thank you.

The object was made with Incendia NEXT and given a simple material with some reflection. It stands on the ground plane with some reflection and transparency. Everything is with the camera within a translucent sphere with some reflection. Light and colour by the WpH08 HDRI from Hyper Textures Base and a tiny bit of light by the sun. Many differently sized shells within each other.
