Re: tattoos: are you kidding? Seems like everyone has tattoos these days (though I don't). I'd have to excommunicate relatives if I had a harsh no tattoos rule. They seem especially big with young people these days. So, no, I've got no problem with people getting or having reasonably tasteful tattoos. I don't really have a plan to get one myself, though.

Why will my shoes not teleport on my feet?

Because stuff doesn't teleport. There are no theories how, and no-one has done it. Yet.

If you can find a way where it does happen, I suspect you will be a multi-billionaire in short order. And you'll deserve it too.

    Regards,

    Richard

We're just swimming in an Olympic size pool of alligators right now. And I intend to win the gold medal.

Can anyone explain why a small cat will walk over to a larger cat who is asleep and BITE them? And they are 'bonded male mates'.

I sometimes think I have a young teen boy who hasn't figured out how to attrack the older guy he is wants to cuddle with.

Which begs the question, do they teleport to other parts of your body?indecision

Or are you saying that they will teleport, but just not while on your feet?

Or are you asking them to teleport away while they are on your feet, leaving you standing barefooted, but it ain't happening?indecision

    We're soooo confused.indecision

Mary, I think it's due to a large dose of 'stupid'. Or possibly an assessment of how sleepy the bigger one is, leading to a catulation of how much the smaller one can get away with.

While I don't consider tattoos desecration, there are certainly some really unwise tattoos out there.surprise  I find neck tattoos (especially ones that frame the head) ridiculous, but hey if you find your social position with one, more power to you.frown  There could even come a time when people without tattoos are shunned for lack of imagination or proper social labeling.  It's all subjective.  They do however send a message and tell a permanent story.  But not everyone wants to know your story all the time.  Discretion is the better part of showmanship (appologies to Shakespeare -- Henry IV, part 1)wink

One of my neighbors in the other half of this house was heavily tattooed including neck and face.  Nice guy, muscularly stocky, biker type, nice wife, nice kids, nice dogs, great cook, did a mean Yule dinner brisket and they included me in their Yule celebration dinner each year they were here.  I kinda liked him.  But he was the guy for which the swat team was outside my kitchen window yelling through bullhorns and with guns drawn, using up all sorts of cop equipment.surprise  He'd been seen walking down the street with a rifle and was reported by some overly zealous neighbor who said he looked threatening.  Nothing major came of it, he surrendered after an hour or so and was back in the house by midnight, but had to give up his new rifle.  He just didn't like cops.
