One of the things I've learned from forum members is if there's anything I would like to get that isn't on sale, put it in the Wish List. I've missed out from not being able to get items I've wanted when WL sales happen. They don't happen often, but they can be a real savings when they do (not counting the ones that require an expensive buy-in). I'm hoping there'll be at least one good WL deal during the PA sale.
...my thinking it will not be thus weekend but the next which as I don't get my pension deposit until the next Monday means missing the start (which usually features artists like Stonemason). Props, environments, and architecture sets are about the only items I purchase these days (unless its a cool new G9 release by RawArt).
It has run through into mid-October, or even later October - sometimes the PC Anniversary has been mostly pushed into November.

most utilities will work out a payment plan down here in Australia, unfortunately I don't know about such stuff in the US, having stuff allocated in your banking account for direct debit can help and paying yourself a set amount of spending money
this hobby does have addiction qualities but if it's impacting your life to that extent, just stop spending a cent on it now!

Yes, utilities in the US should work with him on a payment program. I know my electric does (National Grid).
I've been placed on and off some programs to get help with medical expenses, etc.
(Medical Assistance will pay for my new bifocal eyeglasses. The top will be for reading the computer screen. The bottom will be for reading books.)
But some of these programs just never do anything once I'm signed on. They collect money from the state or county government, but never actually do anything for me.
I've been crying for someone to help with managing the finances... It's been 3 years now,,, No luck.
I've paid up my electric bill.. made it current. Then I missed one payment and they're hounding me again.
In the meantime I'm using my bank to automatically send checks each month for a couple bills.
autopay from your bank account usualy works pretty well. In addition, some companies will give you a discount for doing so.

Ron, do you get a low income rate on your electric? Where I live you can send in proof that you get other kinds of assistance and they'll give you a discount rate. I don't know which states have a program like that, but mine does, so maybe yours does, too.
We have an Energy Assistance program.
However, no one on our office staff is able to help complete the forms.
I have Dyslexia, and also get crippling anxiety whenever I try to do the forms.
I had an appointment with my eye doctor today. She prescribed special "dual bifocals" which will help to read computer screens as well as books.
That will make the experience easier, physically, but the other problems will remain.
The PA sale pretty much runs right into the year end Holiday sale. That's just too much continuous buy tension for me, both from a pyschological perspective and economic perpective. Its mentally as well financially draining. So I'm trying to not buy anything else until the end of the PA sale and then I'll just go hogwild for the Holiday sale. The Content Catalog app has given me a lot of forgotten things to play with, that should hold me over for a few months.

I cannot advise you because most assistance is covered by Medicare or ither government programs down here,
I feel sad however and can address the other problem of DAZ addiction.
I found staying out of the subscription trap helps enormously.
Not being in DAZ+ or heaven help me (never going there) Premier, saves me considerably, never buying something new if I don't need it (and I never need it, just want it) or a new to get something else I want cheap.
This site, this forum, is geared towards trying to get you to spend money.
Those that do, also encourage you to as well to assuage any guilt if any they feel.
Like smokers trying to get you to take a puff.
Some PAs even gear their products towards it, had a fruitless discussion in another thread towards one releasing a big bundle designed to make people want to buy their entire back catalogue to use it.
It's honestly like drug pushing but legal because called marketing, capitalism, entrepreneurship, whatever.

But not at the demise of your own ability to pay your bills
