.dsb iss till an option when saving scripts, but that doesn't mean any given .dsb will work. PowerLoader is, in any event, a plug-in that is then cotrnolled by scripts - buty it is itself in DS 6.
I'm not sure if this would help you but I used Zev0's "Growing Up" for Genesis 8 to create a family with 5 kids, 2 boys about 5 and 9 and 3 girls about 5 and 9. The older girls are not twins and I probably should have changed the scale a little on one of them. I used head morphs to make them look different. There is a Genesis 9 version but I haven't used it.
Yes, Power Loader is a plugin but it's triggered by DSB script, without DSB, Power Loader never works. Not 100% sure but I'm afraid this plugin is useless in DS6 ~~
Anyway, w/o DSB, I could directly load cr2 in both DS4 / DS6 but Power Loader dialogue never showed ~ Is there any trick or work around ?
What do you mean by "without .dsb"? The format is still supported in DS 6. Of course individual scripts may or may not run.
My question is how Power Loader dialogue could be loaded in DS 6.x... AI Victoria clearly told me that Power Loader is triggered by DSB script .... but if DSB script files are there, all Gen 4 figures cannot be loaded in DS 6.x... is that correct ?
Again, how can I have Power Loader dialogue loaded in DS 6.x ?
It's listed in Help>About Installed Plug-ins for me (as far as I know it is in the base application). I don't currently have Victoria 4 etc. installed, however.
Open the app: takes forever.
Click a property, 12 seconds to respond.
Animate: Missing.
Cartoon render: Missing.
Click to set a shader. Did it work? I can't tell. So I click it 30 times.
Genesis 9, want a normal walk pose? Nope.
Try to open Smart Content with filter by context? dozens of empty folders. Click poses: 12 seconds. No indication it even noticed.
Iray Preview? Grinds to a halt, but that's the only way to get the lighting right.
Want to reinstall Daz 4? You can't. It says I already have it, even though I uninstalled when I got 6. There is no download link.
Simulations? 100% explosions. Soft body physics? Decades later and still no.
The AI thing locks up, and when it does work, all it can say is, "nope, you can't do that".
Frequent "app whiteouts" (unresponsive), and even Windows coming back with "Close or wait more?"
I am going to learn how to draw. It's faster, cheaper, and less aggravating.
Installing DS6 doesn't uninstall DS4, it installs next to it. So unless you specifically told DIM to uninstall it, it should still be on your system.
DS6 don't seem to want to use my GPU when rendering the final render, but it has no problem using it when in my viewport when i change to iray and it has to render in the viewport (i can see the fans on the gpu turn on) what is going on?
Geforce 5070
What make you say that? Is the GPU listed on the hardware tab in Render Settings?
I tried to turn off the CPU to force it to use the gpu, and when I try to render like this it goes insanely slow and the fans on my gpu don't even turn on, but if I show the render in my viewport in iray they turn on and it's very quick.
Check the Allow CPU Fallback and try again, see if it falls back to the CPU. If it does, then it could be the scene. Also check the log and see what it says.
well when i do it with the settings i send you the render turns black quickly and so does it if i just turn on allow CPU Fallback, but again the viewport iray works like a dream when it comes to rendering? -.-
What does the scene consist of? Does it render with e.g. just a figure? What is your NVIDIA driver version?
The scene has two g9 figures and a couple of houses (nothing inside) there is more in the scene but I turned the "eye" thing off so its invisible, that should be alright right? my Nvidia studio driver is up to date
What does the log say Help > Troubleshooting > View Log?

Didn't know how much i needed to take :P sorry
Apparently your card ran out of memory.
I noticed where it said "ran out of memory...."
It's so strange that two characters can make it run out of memory while when i used my old card back in the days I could have like 8 people in a scene.... -.- in ds4
It's actually it's quite easy to run out of VRAM with only a few items. For example use HD morphs with high subdivision level and high resolution textures, hair with lots of polygons / strand hair with high tessellation, environments which use a lot of high resolution texture files...
is there an easy way to figure out what in a scene that is using the most VRAM?
Easy? No. Rules of thumb?
Checking texture sizes of far away items. An object that takes up 400 pixels in the final render (and that's just a 20x20 square) probably doesn't need textures of 4k, or 2k, or even 1k. Scene Optimizer is a product that helps with this.
G9 figures usually have larger textures than most of the prior figures. 4k x 4k and 8k x 8k files including normals and bump maps. Most figures will be bigger than 400 pixels in a final render. But if they aren't a tight closeup, you might be able to save VRAM by shrinking these textures. But there another place to start:
SubD on figures, clothes and hair can increase VRAM usage immensely. And, for the most part, unless you doing a close up, any SubD above 2 is unnecessary. (Remember, rule of thumb). Some PAs set SubD way to high on figures and clothes as their default.
Which environment are you using?
If it is something with instances, make sure in Render Setting > Optimization > Instances Optimyzation: Memory
Recommended is Auto.
Why?
It was recommended a few years ago, when Iray was updated.
I downloaded this lip-sync script from Renderosity for use with Papagayo in DAZ Studio 4.24, and now the script won't work with DAZ Studio 6.25. I left a message with the script's author, but no reply has come. Has anyone else had this issue?
https://www.renderosity.com/freestuff/items/77470
It has been oft stated in these forums that scripts written for DS4 might not work in DS6, because of changes in the scripting language. The script you are referring to was written years ago, before DS6 was even a glimmer in the developers eyes. It is not surprising that it is not working in DS6.
Until (and if) the author updates it, you can still apply all of the lip syncing in 4.24 and save them as partial poses (you can just use your blank figure in the scene, you won't need your actual character) and then apply the lip sync partial pose in 6.25.
