At least that excludes things like IP-adresses, hardware problems, viruscheckers, firewalls, locations, etc...

That's really interesting! So at least we know it appears to be account specific, not server cache, time or geographical issues.
Still offering to let DAZ use my account to troubleshoot.

This is weird, now one of the supposed $2.99 items that was $8.95 is suddenly $8.06! This makes no sense at all...
The way I see it, some of us have accounts that have, for one reason or another, been corrupted. Which seems to me to be a permanent problem, possibly affecting future sales as well.
DAZ seems to be either unable or unwilling to fix problems with specific individual accounts, meaning our accounts will remain corrupted, with unpredictable effects..
Solutions, anybody...?
I have some items for 2.99$ in my cart. Then I put the "Rustic Well Vignette" in and all the 2.99ers goes up in prise.... seams a bug.... means that my account is kaputt? :(

It happens with all new items... I think something goes wrong with "when you buy any New Release over $1 - AND also get an EXTRA 20% OFF* them
(20% OFF replaces your Loyalty Discount if its bigger) Offer usable once per customer" ...oh...wait.... perhaps I used it allready? But then they should stay at 2.99 and don't go up?
$2.99 actually worked for me today. But only if i didn't put a new release in the cart - as soon as I did that, they shot up to $9.95 again.
Can't work it out, seriously. Only half the sale works - items are $2.99 but they increase in price with a new release instead of decreasing. Worst sale, truthfully.
That is exactly how it has been working for me every time, Adding a new item makes it go to $9.95 or now $8.95
In countdown section today everything works for me as supposed to do:
$2.99 : 1 - 5 cntdown items
$8.95 : 6 cntdown items (exceeded 5 cntdown items -> discount doesn't apply, 10% PC member discount kicks in )
$1.88 : 6 cntdown items + 1 new item (cntdown apply again - 30% loyalty - 10% PC member)
EDIT : To be honest I shouldn't get that 10% extra because they are not DAZ originals.
Sales seem to be working 100% for me today. Cheers to that!
I have been watching this thread with interest the past few days and decided to test the $2.99 stuff. I haven't bought anything in the past few days except for Tristan's pro bundle and Hyun Ki for Yuzuru. I just passed over the $2.99 section. But today I decided to try it and it works just fine for me.

Before the new item everything is $2.99, with the new item the price drops to $1.88/9. And like I said this entire sale I haven't bought anything out of the $2.99 section. So, I don't know if not purchasing from that section makes it work or not. But hey, maybe that "useable once per customer" means once till next year.
I don't know if this helps any but I haven't been buying much from the $2.99 section (picked up nearly all I wanted at $1.99) but when I have it was working fine for me. I picked up a Deviney brush set slightly over 14 hours ago with a Still New item and got it for 2.09, so I just chucked 5 $2.99 items into my cart (as a test I have no intention in checking out) = all $8.95, added a Debut New and no change. So I am suggesting it is a 24 hours period thing again. Might test again before going to bed tonight and see if there is any change.
At the moment the 2.99 items works IF I have a new release in there, but Not when if I have no new ones. Which makes it a bit annoying as I literally can not buy it at the price it shows without new release, and can't buy when having a new release in there. Oh well, perhaps some other time I hope. No, I bought a $2.99 item with new item(s) last night and this morning a test Countdwn item with a new item is correctly dscounting, so it isn't a 24 hour limit issue either.
The $2.99 sale stopped working for me after the second day I used it and hasn't worked since.
That's a shame since so many of my wish list items are included in the batch today.
If "usable once per customer" means it applies for the entire $2.99 sale, then that explains it.
I haven't bought anything here since Dec 22nd. Not $2.99 sale items, no other sale items, no full price items, nothing at all. So no, it cannot be a one day thing.
Can't be that either, because before Dec 23rd, it worked for me on three different days....
Ah well it was just a thought...
Yes, it sounded quite plausible which is why I tested it.
Didn't work for me, again. As soon as I added one of today's new releases, it upped the price on the $2.99 items. So much for "unlimited"... if just put 5 $2.99 items in the basket, at least it let me but them at $2.99.

Today I am getting the 8.95 instead of 9.95 no matter what I have in my cart... Have a handful of items on my wishlist included in the 2.99 sale today... greatly enjoying the banter in here though as we suffer through seeing candy in the store window and not being able to get any... in addition, I resisted the urge to grumpily reply to a couple individuals I do business with when they sent out encouraging e-mail blasts to come here and shop this great DAZ sale... I am getting some good deals on stuff I want - just don't understand why DAZ wants to upset the people who come everyday and shop just to keep the folks who buy so seldomly that they don't experience the "sale error" happy. This whole experience has made me feel unsettled about the entire DAZ enterprise and its future...
I thought they added the 1 time per customer "clause".
Which would mean that if you ever used a 2.99 5 items or less offer and a 2.99 + new item offer you are done, you only get the full price from that point on.
At least that has been the case for me, since the 26th I only get the normal price, no more 2.99 price.
I've gone from feeling disappointed to feeling insulted. A drunken sailor could build a better site out of expired hotdogs and the hair from shower drains. I know there's always another sale, but that one will probably be broken, too.
I'm done with this sale so I'm just going to take this time to wish everyone a very happy new year.
Hopefully, 2020 will be a much better year.
Been weeks since i last had a working $2.99 deal. Over that time i have spent lot more then i could have with those $2.99 deals i missed. My plan to make visual novels and 3D art seems to be unachievable at this rate.
