    We don't know that Daz is losing customers. No way to know that! Maybe somebody knows all about the company's inner workings, but most of us will never know - And that's OK! :)

    My personal take is that their recent flurry of sales has more to do with the fact that Renderosity's acquisition of Poser looks like it's actually starting to bear fruit.

    Agreed. I wish the best for DAZ, the PAs, and their customers in the New Year, because 3D art is an amazing medium and outlet for creativity! And, I know this thread is for sales errors, so I will be quiet now. :)

    @Calliope23 : I agree with you. You should say what you think - No need to be quiet. :)

    @cybersox : My take: Daz is brilliant with their policy of giving away the software and selling content. It makes Daz a far more seductive product. But you might be right!

    The dependency of DAZ Studio on prohibitively expensive graphics cards nullifies the free software aspect for me.

    Never really was a Studio fan to begin with, not liking the interface at all; the moment Studio went IRAY, was the moment I gave up on Studio altogether....

    I purchased a new desktop in March, and joined DAZ in late April, with a gorgeous gaming graphics card, not Nvidia.   I can use iray, but it's a slow go.

    I don't see the braineater in Fastgrab, and the only prices that are wrong are the this morning's new items, while the store settles. Or do you mean the biohazard props? The prices should be correct soon(ish)

    EDIT: The Colossus items were there about fourty minutes ago, and are now gone. I didn't see the braineater at that time, as I already own it.

    It wasn't a cached page as I haven't been to Fast Grab in about a week. They are indeed gone now.

    2,99 still not working. The price goes down 10%  (8,95), which is much less than my loyalty discount. Again a day I won't buy anything from this selection.

    During the last week Daz lost about 30-40$  from things I didn't buy. Maybe neglectable, considering my overall spending here, but I'm not the only one, and things tend to add up fast. So, DAZ, why continue a sale which doesn't work properly? Perhaps you are indicating that it's time for me to take a shopping break? (You might be right, my bank account looks ... low ...)

    Same here. But it was interesting. For the first time, it said "Can't add item to the shopping cart."  !!!!!!!

    So I had to hit Back and try it again, no problem. But wrong price. I just picked a random item to test.

    Every day it's the same thing for me-- an item is $2.99 in cart UNTIL I add a new item, then it goes up to $9.95, although today it's $8.95...

    Since basically, the same people are affected over a longer period, there must be some problem with our accounts.

    As long as that is not fixed, I guess there's no guarantee for future sales.

    Slight change today - I put a Countdown Sale item in my cart and it was $8.95 instead of the usual $9.95.  I then created a new account using a different e-mail address and put the same item in that cart, and the price was $2.99.  So the problem seems to be that the daily re-set that allows purchasers of a previous day's Countdown Sales item to purchase a new one at the $2.99 price is not working.

    Looks like the extra 10% of DOs for PC Members is applying across the board. That would account for the supposed 2.99 items showing at 8.95 today. I just bought some wishlisted items from the 65% off select artists category, which are actually discounting at 66% base and then by my loyalty discount and then by 10%, even though they're PA items. I can't see any other reason for the 10% except the extra DO discount, unless I'm missing something.
