The cart does not seem to be crediting the Country Christmas Table Decor as free with a Still New Release.

I'm getting $7.96 for the $2.99 items with debut items in the cart (Tristan bundle). It's taking 20% off $9.95 instead of $2.99. Yesterday it worked perfectly but today has different items that never worked with this sale.

I' getting $7.96 for things that I think should be $2.99. I've had this problem before when the store showed me the wrong selection of items. One of the things I have tried is the Modern Lace Casual Outfit for Genesis 8 Frmale, SKU 50079. Is this showing as one of the $2.99 items for anyone else?

  • I'm getting the $7.96 bug too where $2.99 items show up as $7.96 with Tristan 8 in the cart.

We are looking into the problems with the 65% off these featured artists category. As for the 2.99, we have flagged the problem and, as of yet, Daz is unable to reproduce the conditions. We can only recommend that you submit a ticket with screenshots, timestamps and explanation.

Re tickets - technically, that would cost us more than the discount is worth. Simply put, it is way too much effort for the reward. Today, emptying the cart proved easier. Often a purchase is spur of the moment. These bugs kill that momentum. By the time I have had to stuff around, I reach the point of "stuff it", decide I can live without any of the items and empty the cart. It has happened several times with me over the last week or two.

So true...at over 6000 items already the thought of putting in a bug report it's just too much effort...it reminds me that I had meant to not buy too much stuff any more.

The link for the Holiday Freebie "Oriental Tobacco Tray" is linking to the main website page instead of the product webpage.

Wellll.. it seems the fix to one breaks the other.....

Just Thorn hair in the cart will show 2.99, but this combo breaks it....

You both are absolutely right. Bought a bunch of stuff for great prices (I was lucky and the 2.99 Deals worked for me until yesterday and today). So, enough stuff to play with.

I am curious and this may have already been covered because there have been hundreds of posts, so to many to read back through.  For the $2.99 Holiday Items that are suppose to go down  with a new release, what price is showing on the product page?  The reason I ask this and maybe my addled brain is getting confused but several days ago when the sale worked for me I could've sworn that when I was on the product page it was showing the $2.99 price not $9.95.

quite possibly, we have a series of diffwerent bugs hitting this offer,  and they keep changing and mutating. On any given day there can be several different ways of getting the offer, and as many ways of not getting it.  It's the new quiz of the year to keep you occupied this holiday season.

What bug did you get in your $2.99 offer"   "I got so and so, what did you get"

Its a really good strategy - its certainly saving me money. Honestly this is getting really funny, the sale isn't working for a lot of people, stop it, apologise and when all staff are back to work get it working and relaunce it, but this total mess and the posts implying we should be happy and grateful that there are sales at all can not be helping.

The way the cart software is set up, Daz makes all the products for that offer show the same price, and the cart then knows to discount anything of that price to the $2.99 price. I've seen those set to $12.95, $11.95, and $9.95. They may have also been set to $10.95, but I don't recall seeing that price. I've seen the Daz store do that for other promotions as well, in the past. (For example, with the PC+ Anniversary Sale and the $2.99 for 8 BYOB. Items that normally sell to members for more than $1.99 were reduced to that price while in the category.)

I don't recall seeing $2.99 on any of the product pages for those items in the offer.

The DAZ3D store engine has gone Skynet.

Right now it is choosing who is getting a sale and who is not

Next month it will take over the internet.

By june, it will start conquering the world...

The good side is, if it's conquest plan work as well / as randomly  as the recent sales, humanity may have a chance.... ;)

That doesn't sound like Skynet. That sounds like Santa. The DAZ store software knows if you've been naughty or nice, and prices your cart accordingly.

If really not redeemed, then you got another code as well in a separate email. Check that.

The $2.99 offer says once per customer. Does that mean it isn't valid for me because I bought more than 5 $2.99 items on an earlier day? Or does it mean once per customer per day?

It's supposed to be once per day. Unfortunately that offer has various problems for some users, for reasons neither we nor Daz seem to be able to pinpoint so far.

Is the gift card a one time thing or can it be used several times?

Each day is a separate offer, so you should be able to get 5 x 2.99 per day. There is, however, a bug that has been denying a lot of people this or the associated 2.99 offer. Some days it may work for you. Some days it won't.

The past few days have been quite frustrating, and it has been difficult (23rd) or impossible (24th and 25th) to buy any of the $2.99 items at that price, whether or not I add a Debut New Release.  Yesterday I bought three of the items anyway (at $9.95 each) after reducing the size of my cart and eliminating a Debut New Release because the total was getting too high, and I then submitted a request for store credit for the difference in price.  Today I found myself saying "this is too much of a hassle," and I simply deleted the items I had put in my cart after I couldn't buy them for $2.99.  I hope this bug gets fixed soon and Daz offers some sort of compensation for the difficulties we have had with this sale.

Me too x 100s of others = lost money for Daz, but huge savings (less money spent) for us. I’m starting to like the bug-ridden nature of these sales: it’s keeping more $$ in my pockets! Can’t complain about that.

Yesterday and today I could put up to 5 of the 2.99 items in a clean cart and get the 2.99 price, but as soon as I put in one new item. poof, all back up to 9.95 instead of activating a discount. Yesterday's 10% thing let me get them down to 8.95. Color me impressed.

Combine that with 2.99 problems from 4-5 days ago, and my 2.99 backlog is pretty big.

However, I did get a ton of $0.50-1.50 items from downwind in the sale, so maybe I can find something good in todays.

  • i was gonna give daz a lot of money but thank god none of their sales work so now my wallet is saved! :)
