...here in Portland they let people bring dogs and cats on board buses without being in a carrier as "service animals" (they aren't restricted to just the traditional guide dogs).  The local news rag actually had a field day with this and the writer jokingly mentioned about bringing a pony on board as a "service animal" only to find out it fell under the description, if it was registered so.  So on that note, thinking of getting a big lizard or snake and calling it my "service animal" so I can get a seat to myself.  Really loathe it when the person next to me has an argument on their phone, is stuffing their pie hole, or has their MP3 player turned up so loud I can hear every note and lyric through their earbuds/headphones (and usually it's something that is not my personal taste).

will o the wisp prolly be dangerous pet

The wife is late for everything. I'm a 10 minute early type person. Us going out together is stressful because of the differences.

52deg at 0430, supposed to get to 72 today.
Nice day yesterday, also. Warm gloves, warm leather jacket, went for my own personal Ironbutt ride.
See how many miles I can put on before the pain hits. When I bought the bike, I could go 60.
Lasted 160 on the last one. Did 200 today before the pain began. Okay, 200 miles, time to go home.
Um... I'd lost track of where I was. Home was 70 miles away. The pain...

On a nicer note, my pesky mouse with a love of Ramen hasn't been back.
I think mixing an old prescription blood thinner capsule with a teaspoon of peanut butter did him in.
And the experts say to dispose of outdated medications. Huh, shows how much they know!

It wouldn't have bothered me as much if he'd finished one package before starting on another, but
noooo... A nibble here, a taste there, and soon every package had been violated. Worse than a teenager.

Window cleaners are dangling outside the windows (am in 14 story building).  Feel like I am in a fishbowl.

I recommend a ball python, they don't get much longer than 7 feet and have a huge number of very sharp nasssty teeth, which produces one Hell of a painful bite (got bit once, my own fault for moving fast near it's snout).  You might end up with 1/2 the bus to yourself!

...well last night was pretty wild weather-wise. Heavy rain, high winds beating against the windows for a good part of the night. Fairly dry today but a deluge on the way for the next three days.

Chilly yesterday morning, was only 3°F above freezing though nice and warm inside. Love having good insulation after living in a modified cellar and then a drafty 120 year old house.

    Stay warm, dry, and toddy'd!

54f here, high in the mid 70s, tomorrow high in the mid 50s, then upper 70s the rest of the week.  Ugh.  At least no rain (yet).

Tuesday!  Final grocery deliveries for the 4 day weekend: dinner rolls, gravy, snacks. Eye doc tomorrow afternoon, not looking forward to it at all as this is kind of make-or-break for filing permanent disability...

Nothing more fun than telling a heathunter you can't work because you're visually impaired.. looooong silence, then the omgs, then they get off the phone fast.  Heh.

I used to get white-out everywhere, and it didn't work well on my Etch-A-Sketch!

Amazon finally re-started delivery, so DEAD FISH ON A TRAY  IS COMING!

Dead shrimp, dead eel, dead salmon, and dead salmon skin along with some dead pig dumplings and some breaded and fried dead plants. Should be a nice balaned meal of dead things.

This time, the flavored coffee does actually taste a bit like pumpkin, whew! I was worried...

    Strangely enough    YES

Carbon paper consisted of a sheet of paper that was coated on one side with a layer of carbon black (soot) bound with wax.

Hopefully it'll do your area more good than harm.. it's been good for the Austin economy, and their grocery and restaurant delivery service keeeps a lot of drivers employed. :)

Dimly recall the ugliness of changing typewriter ribbons and stuck together pages of strange smelling waxy fax paper I guess that’s how air filters got so popular :)
