It's DEAD FISH ON A TRAY

There's not much more to say

It's spicy and it burns my tongue

    I'll eat it anyway!

Oh DEAD FISH ON A TRAY

    It does improve my day

But this stuff it sure isn't cheap

    I'll buy it anyway!

    With pickled ginger too!

Oh what's a boy to do?

    It's soothing for my tummy

I've found this to be true!

    DEAD FISH is tasty-nice

It's served with lot of rice

Each grain so neat is soft and sweet

And then they add some spice!

That DEAD FISH ON A TRAY

    For more I always pray

Send me a ton I'll have some fun

And stuff my face all day!!

    :)

    garrrrlic breaaaath angeldevil

...here in Portland they let people bring dogs and cats on board buses without being in a carrier as "service animals" (they aren't restricted to just the traditional guide dogs).  The local news rag actually had a field day with this and the writer jokingly mentioned about bringing a pony on board as a "service animal" only to find out it fell under the description, if it was registered so.  So on that note, thinking of getting a big lizard or snake and calling it my "service animal" so I can get a seat to myself.  Really loathe it when the person next to me has an argument on their phone, is stuffing their pie hole, or has their MP3 player turned up so loud I can hear every note and lyric through their earbuds/headphones (and usually it's something that is not my personal taste).

I recommend a ball python, they don't get much longer than 7 feet and have a huge number of very sharp nasssty teeth, which produces one Hell of a painful bite (got bit once, my own fault for moving fast near it's snout).  You might end up with 1/2 the bus to yourself!

....when I was living in Olympa WA a friend of mine had one.  Actually they are fairly docile, unless like you mention, you spook them.  Hmmm an open basket with a handle and a ball python curled up in it on the seat next to me.  That might just do it.  Also may keep those with breath as foul as a pyroclastic flow away.  Crikey, people need to learn what Altoids are.

Tuesday!  Final grocery deliveries for the 4 day weekend: dinner rolls, gravy, snacks. Eye doc tomorrow afternoon, not looking forward to it at all as this is kind of make-or-break for filing permanent disability...

Nothing more fun than telling a heathunter you can't work because you're visually impaired.. looooong silence, then the omgs, then they get off the phone fast.  Heh.

..yeah I went through three evaluations (including X rays) before I was finally certified.  Guess they finally realised my right hand, left shoulder, and hips being shot, along wit being clinically blind in one eye was enough.

    Blech.  Beats a white-in, I suspect!

i remembers white out.  and carbon copy paper.

Dimly remember days before copy pasta. Was carbon paper really carbon?

    Strangely enough    YES

Carbon paper consisted of a sheet of paper that was coated on one side with a layer of carbon black (soot) bound with wax.

Dimly recall the ugliness of changing typewriter ribbons and stuck together pages of strange smelling waxy fax paper I guess that’s how air filters got so popular :)

...ahh nothing beats the lovely aroma of spirit duplicator solution.

I've been eating potatoes more lately...

Last week me and one of my daughters discovered there is a "potato" button on the microwave.

I hate boiling or baking them, it takes forever... Now I can make one whenever I want... In less then ten minutes.

One of these days I have to see what all the other buttons besides the numbers and "popcorn" are for...

...going to be four days of major tech work for me.  Family is all on the other side of hte country and not into dealing with the torture that is known as air travel today for only a four day visit.

Supposed to be pretty wet all holiday weekend (save Friday but not setting a foot outside with all the retail madness that will be going on), so good time to stay in.  Besides holidays are meant fo families and kids, not old single people like myself.

Spooking a snake is it's own reward, and not a good one - unless you're into snakebites, in which case Mom called and I have to go now (lol).  And I feel your pain about sulfer-laden breath, ugh, I've had strippers try to dance for me that had breath like they had feasted on rancid bat guano before coming to work  seriously not sexy (barf).

The only relatives I have living, that I know of, are in Michigan and I'd as soon shoot off my good foot than deal with them.  This is the side of the family where my cousin ran off to Mexico with a guy when she was 17 and came home a year later pregnant.  I'll be cookiing all tomorrow, then Friday start in on reconstructing my music studio - I plan on completing my second full album while I'm betwen jobs.  Will also be diving back into working on my industrial espionage/mystery story "Strip", set in Silicon Valley.. writing what I know (heh).  My writing software is able to magnify and go high-contrast so writing won't be a huge burden for me.

Anyway, if anyone postrs here over the holidays, I'll be around to respond.

Happy Hump Day! Kiss a camel!

58f outdoors, won't get much warmer.  Upper 70s the rest of the week, I guess we won't get Winter until January.  Apparently holiday traffic has been a nightmare, so I'm glad I'm not shopping.  Turkey thawing, air fryer clean, so I'm ready to cook tomorrow.

Todays safety tip: blasting down half a large jar of medium salsa on an empty stomach whilst drinking beer will result in a night of digestive follies.  You have been warned (uurp).

Complaint (other than the salsa business) - todays flavored coffee tastes like road tar and paint.  Blech.

    Non-complaint: 4 day weekend!

New non-complaint: greeted this morning by an enthuiastic doggy, Rio is her name, and she loves to get skritches behind her ears.  She also seems to have developed a fondness for my plush fuzzy blankie, I think she visits just to lay on it. :)
