I've got a message it say thanks for buying a previous young male bundle, its 20% off Lucas 8 Pro bundle, not buying him though as I'm not buying DO as I'm no longer a PC member.

It's on his page, indirectly. You need the Brodie bundle, the David 5 (really!) bundle, and the Elijah bundle -- the same ones that you can get free with Lucas if you don't already have them -- and that triggers an extra discount. There may or may not be smaller amounts if you only own one or two of the bundles.It worked the same way, sort of, with Stephanie 8.
Elijah is really the closest direct equivalent. Lucas is younger than Elijah (and MUCH younger than David 5 or 3) and older than Brodie by a few years.

I did get the extra discount with Stephanie, but I didn't buy her anyway.
I bought the Elijah 7 pro bundle so have got the 20% off message like others are mentioning here. So I guess you would have to have bought one of the bundles now being offered free to qualify. It's a pity, as with all these FREE offers, long term customers like myself already own this stuff, or most of it, so only useful if you are a new customer, or see an impulse use for something in a bundle you didn't originally buy.
Never mind. Repeating something that someone else said upstream. Time for bed, belike.
So what is that extra discount percentage if you own all of them?
The Pro bundle lists "Genesis 8 Male Anatomical Elements," so I'd expect the textures to be included, at least with the base figure. (Hard to say with the additional characters.)
Only someone who owns them all and gets the banner can tell us. I didn't get the bundles on any of them.
His name sounds a bit like Lucozade and his L8 designation reads as Late in modern parlance, aside from that though, he looks quite good. I'm still not ready to dive back into all this yet, but not for too much longer. I've got some catching up to do and may just skip Gen7 and head straight for this generation.

I must say, Milo for Lucas 8 looks like someone that I might see anywhere in public. Not in some stratified venue for the rich and improbably beautiful. Kudos to the artist.

Milo may well be what decides me, awesomely usefull.
To me this sounds like a good plan. Genesis 8 for me is really Genesis 3 version 2, or as some have said Genesis 3.2....so you will find clothes and textures made for Genesis 3 will work nicely. This means that by going straight for Genesis 8 you will have the updated version of Genesis with it's related new content, and can be selective what Genesis 3 items you buy.
Finally, a second Genesis 8 male base character – and the hinted-at-in-the-arachnid-suit Lucas – has arrived. Looking forward to playing with him but very sorry to see that there will be no Elijah 8, who has grown on me over time. Elijah’s overall look felt like a fusion of ethnicities, sometimes Asian, sometimes more Eastern European/Mediterranean/Jewish. And his build was unique (slim, willowy) whereas Lucas’ body looks like he could be Michael as a late teen. One reset upside: While I totally dig using black fingernail polish and such, here’s hoping that future Lucas offerings will be a bit lighter on the goth.
Now, Daz: How’s about giving us a base male character of color?
It may just be the lighting and/or skin settings, but his neck in the promo image wearing blue shorts, is very rough. Also, his body hair appears to be included in the bump map.
Sigh... whatever happened to masculine, unshaped eyebrows? For me, Milo may be the man to get.

but before I read your comment, I removed the Lucas 8 Pro from my cart, in fact everything from the cart, waited a few minutes then returned to the DAz site, and sure enough the banner was there.
Regardless, It seems I was getting the 20% discount even before the banner appeared, $47.61 seems a lot still
I think I'm still going to pass. the deals just not good enough

and it seems that one get 20% regardless if one has bought only one of the three bundles, or all three. I only had bought David 5 before, and got 20% while someone above had bought all three ( I think) and also got 20%
Ahh, So I added one of the texture packs for the cart with Lucas 8 pro bundle Cool Style Outfit Textures
which affected the price such that the Lucas 8 Pro bundle came down to $40.46
and the texture pack to $5.61
So I guess Daz have a 'bite' sale, as it's almost what I was hoping to pay
What is WITH that joker mouth that seems to plague all the gen 8 figures?? It's downright creepy, extra so on Lucas..
I initially thought Milo too, but his skin texture in the promo images, apart from his face, still looks to me like a mono toned waxwork or 'Thunderbird' puppet. This also applies, for me, to the promo images of Lucas and his other available characters. However, I think the face morphs are good.
I have just bought and downloaded Lucas 8, so will now be very intrigued to see the skin texture map.
Edited to add: It would be interesting to see others renders of Milo.
I’m passing. He’s not old enough for me and I have no use for teens.... I like adult guys... I may buy some of his hairs and outfits but his head is fairly androgynous looking and I don’t care for the skinny plucked and shaped brows. They look a bit odd to me. The head also looks oversized and I find his expressions look really odd.
The pouty lips, plastic skin and glassy eyes are common trait with the G8 characters.

Well, I got Milo for his skin texture only. Milo facial skin on the left, Quintons skin on the right - same model, different skin. Milo skin has given him more character, for want of a better description. And nice eyebrows.

Lucas 8- to me he has the same mouth/lips as Michael8, and I strongly detest these. In my eyes,not masculine at all. One definite reason not to buy.
I like him. He reminds me of an actor, more than one actually. Yet, he has his own look. Thrilled to have a shorter male to add to the gene pool. I liked Michael 8 and I definitely like Lucas 8. Good work, DAZ and PAs!

Anyone with a figure review for Michael Cera aka Lucas 8?
I'm downloading him now and will get a render up as soon as I can. I had Elijah 7, so I got the extra 20% off. With another new release, he was $40, plus I got David 5 Pro and Brodie. Lots of content for a reasonable price. I can certainly use more male characters in my runtime, and more male content. The more variety, the better!
