    It has actually been faster for me this week, but tonight would just not turn over for me in Chrome tonight, and still, hasn't, but was fine in Firefox.

    It's not just those Kerya listed, above. I have one Still New release in my cart and all 10 of the Featured Unicorn Related Selection items, (even those I already own,) and none of them are getting the 90% discount.

    Edited: It worked for me hours ago, but with the New Debuts. It's $1.69 for the Unicorn for Daz Horse 2. And I use Chrome. Everything worked from the get-go but I only bought New Debut items. I have Ebano and the Food Truck in my cart.   So Still New does indeed seem to be what's failing.

    I fully understand that the updated G8 versions of products should be made available at new item prices for folks that haven't purchased any of the previous incarnations.  I'm just suggesting that an upgrade pricing should be available for people who have already bought previous generations of a  G8 character, pose, hair, prop, clothing...etc., so we can keep up to date without feeling like we're just buying the same items over and over every other year.  The ability is already in place, since Daz frequently does sales based on "if you own or buy X."  So, a PA should be able to do the same thing for verified purchasers of their previous generation products.

    It's not as simple as you make it sound, for a number of reasons.

    Using SY's tutorial, I've converted a lot of G3 hair and wardrobe items to the corresponding male and female G8. Some things work rather well, and somethings just plain break. High-heeled shoes are hit and miss! Shoulders, however, are always problematic. With the two generations using different base poses, (T-pose for G3 and A-pose for G8,) the upper arms and shoulders fit differently. Granted, I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but my attempts to adjust the rigging have only resulted in clothing fitting even worse when I pose the figure. So when a PA takes the time to update the rigging on an outfit so it fits correctly on G8, well, I think that has value.

    G8 doesn't have a heel bone, but G3 does. That makes auto-fitting shoes something of a nightmare. Flat shoes tend to work okay, but you can forget anything with a heel, unless you have the know how to rig shoes for the next generation.

    I don't fully understand "JCM" or "ERC" and the like, but I do get that bending on G8 is different than bending on G3, and so products that look identical on the surface actually use different code to accomplish the same thing.

    And all those differences betweenn the two generations add up to a lot of tweaking by the experts (PAs.) You can learn to do it yourself. Or you can pay someone who already knows how to do it for you, (buying the G8 version of their product.) Both options cost you, one in time, and the other in money.

    Or you can pass on the G8 line for now. You've already got all those G3 characters to work with. There's nothing wrong with them. G2 was the current generation when I got started in this hobby, and I still use G2, along with G1 and G3. If Daz continues to release a new generation every two years, you'll be able to pick up G8 stuff quite inexpensively in another year and a half, when G9 becomes the current generation. You certainly won't be alone if you decide to wait.

    Your points are valid and well taken.  But, I still think it would be a good plan for PA's to have upgrade pricing for owners of the previous generation same name items.  Other than that, I still have this nagging feeling that the main point of releasing a new generation of figures is to allow all new support products to be created and sold all over again.  I LIKE G8.  But, I just don't feel like re buying every character, clothing, pose set, and support asset that I've bought for previous generations.  Of course as you say, I have the option to opt out.  My argument is that perhaps as a repeat customer, the store could give me an even better reason to opt in.

    If the current PA sale is any indication of the future pricing scheme of DAZ, it may be a lot longer than 2 years from now before I buy any Generation 8 content. 

    This sale started off with some great stacking and some deep discounts on my big wishlist items, and cheap new items to qualify for discounts... but now every day it seems is a couple of $9 cartoon unicorns or deers to qualify for discounts and the prices for the content are marked up well above their historic lows. I think I'm going to sit the rest of this one out if things don't change. I guess we still have more than half a month to go - maybe we'll turn a corner here.

    It's saved me tons too. The Unicorn stuff just worked for me now. I'm liking today's sale better than yesterday. The qualifying items are easier and there's a lot of stuff to choose from in the various categories.

    For the last 20 minutes or so I'm getting random  DO, PC+ items not showing club discounts in shop pages. Which ones exactly is changing as I refresh etc.Hopefully a temporary glitch as something else is fiddled with?

    Edit: I am logged in and includes older stuff eg Debra Ross.

    ReEdit: And now everything is working fine. Should have waited another 10 minutes before mentioning.

    Same here, that's why I take them out. But 86% off the bundles is a pretty good deal... that's why I put them in. But I need that money for the PC+ sales, so out they come again... laugh

    I think there was something like that during the March Madness sale a few months back, but it didn't always work very well.

    Yeah, at 80%+ off, I added a few things from my wishlist today. 

    ​I prefer the sales that trigger on ANY new items and there are some cheap new items around... And... you know, when the items that discount are things I actually want. That helps, too. :D 

    ​So, overwhelmingly, I prefer sales that save me the most money and offer me things I really want... what a surprise. :D

    Tell me about it. This was the first real sale all month in my opinion. Pro Sets for $19? I'm there!

    As a noob, I feel awkward criticizing anything, but what the hell...

    Due to all the chatter here and elsewhere, I was really looking forward to the Sept Sale. To put it charitably, it has failed to live up to my expectations. They should rebrand it as the "We Really Really Want You to Invest in G8 (Even Though Her Head Looks Like She Is Suffering From an Allergic Reaction to Bee Stings) Sale". I mean, a G8 investor is the only customer who would even remotely benefit from this promotion. I was honestly ready to just write off the entire month, as I so much prefer the regular daily sales over this one. Luckily though, a "normal" sale popped up (the pose deal) and I was able to get an actual, you know, bargain.

    By "this promotion" are you talking about the overall sale?  If so, I respectfully disagree.  Often during this sale I have loaded up on Genesis 3 items, sets, hair, etc. P3D's characters  were $5.74 to $6.07  (two New Debuts purchased and nothing was Genesis 8)  The most recent items I bought were sets- Steel Town Refinery BUNDLE for $6.24, DM's Occultum was $5.06, etc.

     Granted, you do have to buy a couple new releases to get full advantage of the 75% but if you want to buy enough of a particular catalog (or two) then it helps to balance out the prices of the new items. And a lot of the Genesis 8 also include Genesis 3. Hopefully they are marked that way. I do understand the frustration of having to buy two things to get 50% off for the New Debuts, and other pricing structure issues, but my opinion based on my experience is everything is NOT geared toward Genesis 8 and buyers certainly can benefit from other generations during this sale.

    Keep that cart- submit a support ticket. They can easily check to see that the store turned over too early.
