Hmm, I have been checking the Fast Grab pretty regularly and unless I'm losing my mind, Dragonfly3d poses sure got pulled quickly. They came and went since I put them in the cart a few hours ago, the site changed over and they're gone. I don't recall them being there yesterday, and I know items which have been there four or five days are still there. Is that correct that those should have been pulled?
I think they went up Tuesday, around DAZ Midnight. I remember Ati remarking on how many items were in Fast Grab so of course I had to go see. Didn't see anything I was interested in. When I peeked in there in the afternoon, the field had dropped to 11 items, including the poses you missed out on. Not sure when it changed again, but I'm guessing around DAZ Midnight Wednesday.

I know! So tempted by the Desperado Outfit! Too bad there's no extra discount for buying more than one item, because I would jump on the Outfit expansion as well. @Luthbel's work is top-notch!

Ya know, it occurs to me that the V8 Pro at $66 with another 30% off is $46. So, if you bought all the Victoria bundles in the past, you'd now save $20 off V8. You wouldn't be getting a bunch more stuff because you already own it all. However, if you hadn't purchased any of the items in the various Victoria pro bundles over the years (unlikely I know), and bought V8 at $66, now, you'd save around $300 and get a ton of cool items.
Overall, I'd have to say that the V8 Pro deal is okay for long term Daz buyers. But, it's a fantastic deal for newbies that don't own any of that stuff. Now, if Daz made it "Buy V8 Pro Bundle for $66 and choose 3 other pro bundles you don't already own (1 out of each previous generation, to be fair)," I'd be all over that deal in flash! Right now, my discount is $6 off and I would get a few cool items that I didn't already have. But, most of these are fairly redundant poses and clothing items. So, I'm not hating the deal. But, I'd really love to be able to take advantage of the same savings that a new Victoria buyer would get and pick out some full pro bundles that I haven't already bought most of the items. For instance, I'd pick Ivan 7 Pro, Nineva 6 or Gia 6 Pro, and Aiko 5 Pro. Or, if I have to do only women, I'd pick Anneka Demon Pro or Rune 7, or Josie 7, or Arabella 7. All of those bundles, I only own a few of the items. So, it would be a much better deal for me.
Anyway, just a thought. I'm not poo pooing what's being offered. But, a "choose your own" option might be good for those of us that already own all of the Victorias and the majority of their bundle items. It would certainly get me off the fence.
It just so happens that I was trying to do the Old West Mercantile, but ran into a few issues which have been solved (in record time). So I'll probably take a shot at that soon!
This would've been amazing! I'm hoping they do something like this for other figures. I'll keep my eye out for Lee and MeiLin, if I decide to jump the G8 bandwagon. Mostly, though, it'll depend if Wear Them All expanded over to include G8 (cause I've come to rely a lot in this product).
Lol Giselle! Great minds think alike. And yeah, is love to see a Wear Them All update too. For now, I think you could fit to G3F and then autofit to G8F. Haven't tried it yet, but it's on my list.
And dang it, I had a bunch of cool Emma and Jordi stuff in my cart for amazing prices. Ran an errand, came back, and all the prices shot up. Must've been a glitch. Oh well, saving money today I guess.

Agree with this so much. I've been watching the deals and the incentives to buy the new Victoria 8 for past loyal buyers isn't that great, compared to the incentive for someone who has never bought any Victoria Pro model to buy. As it is, when I look at what I paid for past Victoria Pro model packages, even with the additional 10% discount (I'm not sure how it went from me buying 2 past pro models to 3 while I was travelling the Western US...) at $46, that is still steep for a Pro package that doesn't offer a lot of content I am interested in.
I think I'll be sticking with Gen3, Gen2, Gen1 and Generation 4 for the foreseeable future. As DAZ prices seem to trend up, my DAZ purchases have been trending way down. Haven't even been checking in while on this vacation out of fear of missing a great stacking sale, like on vacations past. But, on a lot of items that have been coming up, I've been finding myself thinking, "I wonder how hard it would be to model that in Hexagon myself..." Maybe I'll spend less time shopping and more time modelling going forward.
The same thing applied to the deal they were offering to non-PC+ members on new PC+ memberships. No incentive for current members to renew.
The last thing I was noticing was how rarely items in my wishlist that have a trigger price to alert through ATI's plugin are coming up in my e-mail. I suppose we're between "big" sales, so maybe we'll see those kind of deals come up again in the future - but super discounts that go near or below historic lows have been rare, using this method as a gauge.
The PA sale is starting soon... Well, relatively soon... I want to save up some money for it, so for me it's sooner than I would want. :D
Between this long vacation and my lack of excitement over the last few sales, I'm in pretty good condition to go on a spending spree if DAZ manages to catch my attention!

Michael 7 came out five months after Victoria 7, so if that's any indication, then we won't be seeing Michael 8 anytime soon. So a huge sale around that, like around V8 is not likely in the coming weeks. We already had the summer sale. What else is there? :) Lots of flash sales maybe! :)

Sounds like the first one contains all G2 items, while the other only a selection. In fact both categories are selections.
It is worth noting that it is still far enough away that new releases now will be out of new status by then and probably at a lower cost sometime during the sale.
Yes this is something that is concerning me too. When I joined the PC club membership was discounted and there was an offer on when I renewed it. Now I'm due to renew again in a couple of weeks time but it looks like there will be no discount available.;

They have renewal deals throughout the year, which adds all of the time to the membership. Mine wasn't up until this August, but I bought an annual renewal last December 31st for a substantial discount...
Hi WandW, So when you bought the discounted annual renewal, did it immediately add an extra 12 months to your already running subscription, or did it go into a queue and then activate when your previous subscription expired ?
I have often seen good membership deals, but thought that my existing one had to have expired first. Maybe your answer will show my assumption was wrong.

A renewal will add time to your existing account. Hoever do make sure, if you use PayPal, to got to your PayPal account and remove any automatic renewals that are filed there, or else PayPal will be billing you again when your existing sub ends.
Ah, thanks Chohole, good to know I can now snap up a good membership deal when the next one comes along, and thanks for the PayPal reminder as I use them for renewals.
