Prop Painter quick question

This looks like a great and easy to use scattering tool like the one in Unreal Engine, and I'm glad to see Stonemason making such useful plugins now. Does anyone happen to know if it's designed for DAZ Studio 6 though, or will it work with older versions like 4.24? Thanks very much.

It works fine with 4.24, as you can see with this image. Over one thousand instances, I might have gone a bit mad, hahaha
Thank you, I had not checked that thread. Haha, that looks great though Paula, and I can't imagine placing all of those by hand. ;)
it work yes on 4.x and 6 and it very funny to use! Thanks Stonemason you did a great toy with that
Why does it not show up in tools when I try to install in in DS 6? Installs perfectly in DS 4.
I ran the installer twice. Once for DS4 and once for DS6. DS6 can see the plugin. DS4 can't. Nothing in Tools. Nothing in About Plugins.
Setup.exe did not report any errors. Both times it said everything was fine.
Prop Painter works on terrains created with UltraScenery 2
Finally one can easily place objects visually on such terrains.
UltraScenery2 + Prop Painter + MatineeFX = Awesomeness

I admit I am waiting for the other 2 by Totte and Umblefugly as in no hurry
want to see the advantages and disadvantages of all
for example, I have UltraScenery2 and not used it yet in spite of owning it for months!!
I had to uninstall the DS4 version and install it again (after trying repair a couple times) and it finally installed. Now to actually find the time to use it.
I'm sure there's a good reason. And I'd like to learn it. Why isn't the panel a docked panel?
Hi, it is version 6.25.2026.14722 (64 Bit) and it does not show in About Installed Plugins, It tries ti install to C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio6.
I just tried a different folder in my 2nd content folder, and that did the trick == I can see it now in both Tools and About Installed Plugins
