Well after checking all my today's purchases except the last, https://www.daz3d.com/anthony-for-genesis-9 I hit a Duplicate Formula Error. Scanning the Help Log I found a buttload of other PAs' morphs listed. Is that normal for a DO morph to use PA's morphs? Right now my reaction is to uninstall Anthony and leave him out of my runtime. If you are considering him, just be prepared.

That is not good. I thought, that this problem is mostly related to other PAs, but not Daz Originals.

    Thanks for warning.

MSO Gilles HD is charming, but CB's Rowan Bundle is also very tempting. In the end, I went for Gilles (+ Wishlist item), as you hardly ever see young, black male characters on Daz, and Mousso continues to be a source of quality and inspiration. For now, I’ve added the Rowan bundle and Lala’s Wandering Swordswoman to my wishlist.

@Artini: A very lovely logo; thank you!

La Bottine for Genesis 9 looks fabulous, I almost missed it in the Newly Mad. Using that as my buy-in today since I have expiring tokens. Styley base design and I like the variety of colors and customizable materials/looks. imo the main product image would benefit from showing bright red boots or those textured amber-gold to give it maximum pop.

I'm not sure you'll get both shoes, after all, la Bottine is a singular word laugh

And those perfectly slick soles, with no tread texture at all, are surely a slip and fall hazard. surprise

Now I'm imagining a story where the fashionista is so urgent, she dares to don them anyway for an upscale walking mall on an icy winter day. :)

A large percentage of female shoes are slip and fall hazards.  Not only are thousands of women severely injured in accidents caused by wearing higheels every year, but flip-flops are also dangerous and many styles of womens shoes also cause thousands of car accidents every year.  And then we have the poor old DAZ female figures, many of whom seem to have their feet permanently locked in "high heels" poses even when they're in swimsuits...

If your Daz female characters are falling over from high heels, just cancel the simulation and go to Edit|Object|Object Geometry|Clear Selected Object and they'll be fine again.

Thanks. This is a beauty of 3D. I can make any object, any size. The default size was too small for me.

I am too. No shamrocks, no leprachans, no rainbow, no pot-o-gold, nothing. Just the same old limited wishlist sale we had yesterday

Yeah. But we do have https://www.daz3d.com/look-at-me-iii. That is gold enough for me.

But now for a dollar, instead of free ;( The pot of gold is the one DAZ is getting from us ;)

Very disappointing that there is not even a nod or a clover to a day that is celebrated by many.

That is the leprechauns posting many times, not me. Now you're in big trouble Daz. Do not ever ignore the day!  wink

Since people were asking for a Leprechaun I figured I would post my little Redcap version

Especially given that there have been not one but two little people characters in the daily 2.99 item slot so far this MM with George and Andre. A little shuffling of the release schedule and DAZ would have been covered.

Or a potato.  It's not like there aren't a pile of leprechaun and SP Day products in the store to put together a nice sale section.  Then again, this assumes that human beings are running the DAZ store these days and I am increasingly suspecting that it's mostly AIs. (That's a joke.  I think  Because I really think it's a bunch of sea monkeys that became sapient from all the toxic stuff in the lake.)

I've been skipping Shooting Stars since they're morphs only and often too similar to DO figures, but today, Tiana got my attention. I do have a soft spot for heavily stylized characters, even if I don't use them often. And then, I read the description: youthful silhouette and features lend themselves to playful, whimsical, or contemporary storytelling while those sunken eyes tell of a character tired with life or not getting enough sleep... You just need to give her a cigarette and slump her over a chair to complete the picture. I still might get her, but I doubt she'll do well in "playful, whimsical" renders, and I don't do contemporary. :D

As a side note, all her promo renders have the descriptions sayin "Nathaniel." It speaks volumes of how much effort and thought goes into those shooting stars offerings.
