I'm not getting the characters we are getting since March Madness started, are they supposed to be relatives of existing Genesis 9 characters who don’t have the HD Addon, or something?

We could theorically say that Tristan 9 is basically a twin of John 9.
If you have John 9 you have Tristan's brother.
    Is Ezekiel a Nathan "sibling"?
    Is Gideon,  Xola's?
    Is MaxwellCalum's?
    Is AndreJib's for Thimor?
    Is Darius,  Dain's Emaciated cousin?

Here are John's and Tristan's head morphs:

Interesting comparison, I hadn't noticed how close those all are, but then again, I've barely used the G9 males in my library.  As to what's going on, my suspicion is that it's what's called "this is what you get when DAZ want's a cheap promotionall item but didn't want to spend either the time and/or expense of creating full new characters, so instead we're getting a series of churned out morph-only products that use the existing base G9 textures".  A few of them have been interesting enough to use as bases for further dial spinning, but I really hope they find something else to use as promos soon, as this is getting old really quickly.

Wondering who named this shorter guy Andre? Thanks for the chuckles.  The only Andre I knew was "Andre the Giant".

(Think wrestling or The Princess Bride)

There's actually a dwarf named Andres Leall who has millions of views for the dance routines he posts on TikTok https://www.tiktok.com/@andreslleall  Of course, going by the classic descriptions, Andre looks more like a gnome (or a Halfling/hobbit, if we're going by fim versions) than a dwarf.

What a nice looking man! Seems to really enjoy dancing and you just have to move with happiness while watching his moves.

As an aside - I don't TicTok and was surprised when I got to see your link without seeing the you have to sign up notice.

New robot has appeared in the shop:
    https://www.daz3d.com/bit-e-bot
In Details it is mentioned, that:
"the Bit-E Bots are perfect for sci-fi interiors, kids’ illustrations,
stylized animations, and lighthearted futuristic environments."
Anybody can confirm, that robots are fully rigged?

I would also appreciate knowing how large they are. As in are they tiny toys? Knee high? Waist high? ...

They are rigged, you can pose the head, arms, legs, hands (body parts available depend on the model).

Here's a preview lineup of the 5 robots with the base G9 to give an idea of scale.

Thank you very much for this information.

Major kudos to @Feng for Warlord Orc HD for Genesis 9. Talk about an impressive sculpt. JCM also look very nice.

Agree, Warlord Orc HD looks spectacular.
    I also like:

I need to put them to wishlist right now, due to lack of funds.

Hmmm, Not sure, I will have to load it up on a character and check that out.

Thank you @SilverGirl it worked! I forget about Fit Control and really need to remember I have the products. For everyone who has it, I used slider "FCF Waist Height Down Front" and also "FCF Waist Height Down Back". The test was on the A pose, so it might need to be tweaked for the final pose after simulation (or before?). But this opens up a lot of those other outfits with gaps that just make me think 'freeze alert' when I see them.

Especially today, we are at 36F and dropping with snow falling, expected all day. A weather person said it is great for snowballs, but of the harder kind that will hurt when thrown at someone.

Oh yay!! I use Fit Control a lot and was almost positive I'd used that hack at one point... but wasn't at my computer to check when I posted that.

Right now we're 41 and raining... with temperatures expected to continue dropping until we get a layer of ice to make a lovely foundation for the snow that follows. Hooray March.

76 degrees and partially cloudy here.  devil  We've only had five days this year where the temperatures dropped below freezing overnight, which is why I'm more than willing to put up with the sweltering Houston summers.

There are so many useful utilities, scripts, and add-ons made to solve so many issues that it's really easy to forget too many of them and/or exactly what they do, especially since a lot of them may only work on one or two specific generation of products.  The other day I was trying to remember what the name was of the "tooth smoothing" utility that one of the PAs made back when that first release of the Young Teens for Genesis came out initially with the horrible peg-like teeth.  It made the greatest teeth for toon and anime type characters like Hitomi, but once everyone moved on from Genesis there was never a similar product released for any other generation... and I'm not even sure if it was a commercial product or just a freebie. But I'd love to have an eqivalent product now for Filatoon, as seperately defined teeth look completely wrong on a toon figure...

I wish there was an easier way to remember some of the more obscure products that you need when there is that problem that pops up just once in a while, but not enough for you to drive it into your brain. (I am talking as someone who has to read, do, read more, do, and do again and again, until I have it burned into my mind. This is not an issue with any product, but with how my brain works. It is also for software programs.)

For now, I need to find the time to locate products that need Fit Control and do a lot of work with it in a mass group to cement the script into my thick head.

@SilverGirl, I really appreciate when you and others offer great ideas for problems I run into.

I'm just glad I could offer something useful. Most of the tech-y stuff is still soooo far beyond what I've had simultaneous time/patience/brain cells to learn... this was my blind pig and a truffle moment LOL.

For what good it may help others: among my other cataloguing efforts (I'm obsessively organized) I have my utilities listed in Excel by type, and then separate category .doc files with the main info from the product page copy-and-pasted in. Then if I'm going "oh gosh, I'm having a problem with dForce" (for example) I can go look in the dForce file and see if there's anything that would help. Same with posing, or lighting, or whatever.

While I have done characters and hair products along with tutorials, tried to do poses and environments (fail), I never thought scripts. I do have the promos sorted but not specifically by what they do, more by PA. I will have to adopt your method to my Google chart. That way it is available on all my computers (five have D|S installed, two are active).

It's yesterday's, but Z Spiritual Pose Mega Set for G9 and G8F looks great. Not only there are some unique poses, but also you can mix and match them with all the partials and mirrors.

Not to mention that it covers G8 and G8.1 as well, so you don't have to waste time doing conversions.

I got all excited when I saw LI's https://www.daz3d.com/li-the-magic-rug--construction--prefab-bundle-01 . But then I was it was only interiors. I thought it might be a good DS Iray substitute for Maclean's Home One.  But no, sadly. I really wish Home One could be updated because it is very useful.

Yes, when you have soo many products it becomes near-impossible to remember all the useful utllities -or anything else, really- when you could be using them. I used to save promos into a Products folder with sub folders for categories like, clothes, people, textures, sets, props, utilities etc. It became so unwieldy to save all the promos, the "harvesting" times, plus the sheer numbers of images/files just difficult in Windows. I'll mention what i have started doing which is useful for me and quicker:  in the Edge Browser, there's a feature called COLLECTIONS. It opens a sidebar in the browser window. You can add "collections" and you just click to add the web page to a collection and saves a thumbnail and name from page. I have made collections for Wardrobe, Shaders/Textures, Hair, People, Animals, Vehicles, Props, Housewares, and so on, and I just click to add a page for a product I've bought to the appropriate collection in COLLECTIONS. When I am thinking about a specific look of hair for a char, I can just open Collections, and scroll through MY purchased HAIR items, and not have to be bombarded by every other type of product I own or in the daz store. BIG PLUS: Collections in Edge Browser is linked to your Microsoft account and will sync (if you allow it) to ANY device you log into the Edge browser on- meaning all your computers, but also iPhones etc - whatever device has a version of the Edge Browser available. This has become my #1 tool for finding what I want from all my stuff when I'm trying to put a scene together or need help doing something specific that I likely have a tool for but can't remember the name; scrolling through my "Tools" collection I can usually find something quickly just by seeing the thumbnail or name. OH, so anything you've put in a collection, you can just click the item, and it will open the webpage the item refers to, so when you see the tool or hair or outfit etc in your collections but want to see the product page and look at all the promos & description- a click, and you're there!  COLLECTIONS also lets you rearrange, rename, add & delete items and collections. I'm hoping that Microsoft will continue to add features, but as is, I find it a lifesaver.  ALSO useful when you're playing Cart-Jenga since the Daz store cart doesn't have a temporary "save for later" holding cell or memory functions; when you're test things, instead of having dozens more tabs open (on top of the hundred or hundreds already open at any given time LOL) I just make a TEMP cart-dome collection, and can click while on each contestant(item) page to save it, so then when i need to dump and or rearrange the cart, I don't have to remember or go searching through the store to recollect up products, but can simply scroll and click the desired ones in whatever order I want to cart them from my temporary holding cell collection. For me, COLLECTIONS in the Edge Browser is really the only practical and convenient way I've found to make sense of and use of my products, and the Daz shopping cart, without losing my mind. : )

I just looked at https://www.daz3d.com/li-the-magic-rug--construction--prefab-01 in Daz Studio and found there is an exterior preset and interior preset ready to go. It is a flat roof building of course, so while stacking is possible for apartments, it will need a roofing system to be added at some point individual homes to drain water/snow off.
