    As far as I know, we can't charge/cancel the PayPal subscriptions made before the site switchover. It just runs automatically and then lets us know when a charge worked/didn't work.

     

    Subscriptions created in the new system with PayPal we can stop billing at any time, which is really helpful when people pick up some annual membership extensions on sale.

    And I just extended my membership, went in and Cancelled it in PayPal (because I normally use Store Credit) and Daz has Flagged me for Cancellation and removed my access to the PC Forum with 2 years left on my membership. There is still something not right with the PayPal/Daz relationship.

    Sorry - just checked and I am back in PC+ and have access to the forum. I checked this thread before checking my account as I never dreamed it would be fixed this quickly (so Thanks), but it was an unpleasant night thinking about this. This senario needs to be permenant fix so it doesn't happen to others.

  • ... One little positive thing: I didn't get a single download failed on my order today so that is positive at least.

    Meanwhile I can't get Channen Hair (55161) to download for the life of me. I've tried upwards of 50 times.

    Lots of other things have been going very, very slowly and sometimes needing multiple attempts due to download failures.

    Happy update, I did finally get it to download!

    It took more than twelve hours of trying, and it was slow going once it finally decided to play ball. However, I did at last manage to get the entire thing without it failing and was able to close the ticket on it. So, thanks to Daz for kicking the server or whatever it took to get things moving.

    This one would be on DAZ end of the line. Paypal cannot or at least should not free money, that we cancel. Because we have to approve it first! If Daz would not be canceled, paypal should still hold the money back. This is why i filed a ticket there, because if they just send the money, without approval, that would be a big error in their system! That's what the cancelation of an automatic payment stays for. To prevent such mistakes. On Daz end they could just send you mails and stop the Pc+ membership, till you have payed up. But they also cannot just cancel the membership if the duration still is on. I mean i could cancel now and should be able to visit everything with the ongoing membership till Nov - 2021 from this point. It seems strange that that worked a few days also for me and you say it's not working. I had no problems at all... Which makes me wonder how this script or the page works. If there are different servers, with different "versions" of the code that's used on the site or if maybe even the server itself has some updates on the one server and on another none or buggy ones... I mean how else can one explain these major differences?! 

    *Update:  Canceled the automatic payment on Paypal end, no problems here so far. I will test tomorrow if my PC+ membership stays on, when i cancel it here too.

    I'm hoping Rawb (or someone) saw my first post and went in to check things, fixing the system cancelling Membership because you cancelled the PayPal auto-renew. I'm certainly showing as a Member again now. So hopefully it wont happen to others.

    Yeah, I had the same issue. A bit of log digging and trying to manually download tells me the file just isn't there. I don't see an obvious typo in the file name...

    yes and my only active one before this screenshot was Epic Games which I cancelled again too when I looked before

    that page above was my inactive ones

     

    I think there were already some issues before the store update because in my case my subscription was automatically renewed twice for 3 months in October.

    Even if for some reason you don't get an e-mail with the code, all customers can now go to:
    My Account  > Orders > pull up your order > find code here

    To get their code from their accounts. heart

    Same here. I put in a ticket because the error message claimed 404 for the file. So hopefully the matter will be addressed in due course of time.

    With regards to Order numbers, not being a regular user of DIM, I did install it and noticed that hoovering over any particular item will present a popup with all kinds of info on it including the Order Number!!! Well it looked an order number, called ID. But apparently the number and date have nothing to do with reality. eta: dates are reversed! So yes then one can find their order at least.

    I still hope that order numbers will one day be restored to our product pages in the Product Library.

  • I am done shopping here if Daz thinks it needs to keep my credit card number on file. You folks can't even update a website without constant propblems. It will be just another hassle to have to go and fill out a form with mt credit info, go through the checkout and back to my account to detele the saved info, (If it actually does delete, who knows)

    Please don't do this to us!

    Read mes are broken because of an API change, Daz is aware but I imgine it's a much lower priority than some other things.

    My DIM is back up, check to see if yours is now functional. And get this- the first eleven products were going at a whopping 508mb/s with six going at a time,  some poses, clothing, and sets-  then steadied at a very respectful 278mb/s. I normally am at 230mb/s at peak times, so now would be a good time to download / check it out if you haven't had DIM (or lost it again recently.)  I did have to restart DIM, not just refresh it, and it was a tad slower than normal coming up. Aka, about four minutes.

    When I placed an order this morning, I selected the option to create a new CC profile and right at the bottom of the all the info to fill out was a checkbox to save the CC info. I unchecked that before submitting the order, then went to my account's payment methods section and no profile had been saved.

    So despite the drop-down on the payment page making it appear that you can only use an existing profile or create a new one, if you remember to uncheck that box then all should be fine. More awkward than the old layout though.

     I  got an answer to my ticket about the CC issue yesterday asking if the issue was fixed for me- I responded that it is still not fixed. 

    Although I now can opt out of Daz saving credit card info, it then does not process the payment. Still using Amazon pay with the exact same card minutes later works...

    Awesomesauce - it finally works! Now I have to quickly download the past week's stuff before anything happens :P

    I know this will never be addressed, but please fix the store and forums functionality with iOS... 

    Here are two examples-

    I don't know what the technical term is, but generally there is a limited area around a link or menu choice on a touchscreen... so you generally have to actually touch the word or link...

    In the store and in the forums the activation area for the links for SHOP - TECHNOLOGY - GALLERIES - FORUMS - BLOG ( etc..) extend way below where they should... so for example if you go to tap on "People and Wearables" you activate the link for either "Technology" or "Galleries"...

    For a second when one taps on a link you can see a shaded area that represents the link's area of activation, all the stuff within the black area extend way below into the next set of links making them impossible to choose.

    This started about two weeks before the store changes and has gotten worse... it exists in both Safari and Firefox.

    Also...

    Its impossible to upload pictures in safari... it has been for at least a year now and it's probably never going to be fixed, but I figured I'd mention it again.

    Yes, I can use Firefox for that and I do, but really, Safari sucks, but it's the default for iOS and a lot of people use it.

    A link in the Product Library is going to the wrong product. However, this may just be THIS product that is whacky. The dForce Augmentation Outfit isn't in the store (first problem, as it was there yesterday when I bought it.)  If it's there, it's not showing up in store search, but the textures are. Second problem- the textures don't even link to it.

    So in Product Library, third problem- the link is going to whatever product you happen to have directly above it. They are both indented and operating under the link of the higher on the page one.

    I also purchased item TOA Ryder for Genesis 3 Female yesterday.  I can not install via DAZ Central, DAZ Install Manager nor manual download. I tried again today with DAZ Central and it was a no go. So I decided to try a manual download once again. However the item no longer appears on this website's store. So I can not post a link to the item.

    Here is a screen capture from my purchased items. Sorry it's the best I can do until the item reappears in the store.

    It's there, I can find it. You probably don't see it in search results because you own it. Items you own are hidden by default in results, and for some reason the number of results doesn't work like on other store pages where it says it's showing X items from a total of Y, it only displays "X results".

    Yes, required product is missing. Product page has problems too, it seems to see them as a bundle and doesn't display the correct content of the product.

    I'm doing this from memory, so the actual steps might vary. :)

    When you are ready to check out your cart, select Credit Card as the payment type.

    The next page shows some drop down menus (I think), select the one that says Add (or Create?) Credit Card.

    This will expand to show an option to save the card details.  Uncheck that.

    Proceed as you did in the old store.

    I *think* those are the correct steps.  I don't have anything in my cart to try out right now.

  • DIM used to work until today eraly morning (2 hrs after DAZ midnight). Now I also get the JSON error saying that it cannot parse my product library.
