True but the behavior has changed, before it would wack the first session if you started a second. And threw an error popup on that one that got shut off. While the fresh instance would work.
Now its reversed. So it kills the new session, leaving the old, and gives no error message popup to tell you anything at all.
And this is the wrong way to program it, because for example: if you left DIM up on your office computer and now your at home, welp you're out of luck till tomorrow.
I filed a support ticket earlier in the week when mine was out completely, it got fixed and ticket resolved. Might give that a shot.
Now I have managed to download all my purchases through DIM except Mst Waverly for Sahira 8, it just refuses and as soon as I click on the download button it immediately says Download failed! doesn't even try to start downloading.
Also for this file I see in my product library it shows 2 duplicate files to download on the page , both being 196 MB, maybe that has something to do with it being unable to download?
I submitted a ticket mid-week. They told me they 'fixed it' but it's obviously still very broken on my end. I sent them a log file and I haven't heard back from them since.
I managed to buy a truckload of content real cheap, and all worked well on the sales end. Thanks Daz! I did all the freebies first, as a separate order. They only showed up as free in the cart.
The only real hitch was that one of my products would not present me with a download page. I do not use DIM. The Cyber future expressions product did nothing when I clicked on it in the Product library. The product was listed, but did not do anything. If I went to orders first, then opened up my last order and clicked on that product, it took me to the product library page with the product complete. I got it OK using this workaround.
So, why isn't there a button on DIM that says, "This is Broken". Pressing the button, after an "Are you sure" popup, would send off a support ticket. You are already logged in, so further authentication is needless. Clean, easy, quick.
I almost wish they could just restore the old site to what it was before last Sunday's upgrade. It wasn't broken and things were working pretty well. I'm on Day 7 of having no Ready to Download items. just a blank page. I finally put in a ticket for it. Hoping I can download my goodies soon.
Starting today (Nov 7) afternoon my Ready to Download list is suddenly empty, too. In the log I see the apparently well-known error:
Opened a ticket. We'll see.
UPDATE Nov 8 ... Overnight the problem disappeared. DIM works as normal on the next morning w/o any changes on my end. Looks like a server issue that got fixed.
There are a few in mine that don't go anywhere as well. Click on the link and nothing happens.

The old site wasn't working very well actually, and there were many things they were unable to fix, that's why they updated to a store where they say all the things they couldn't fix before now can be fixed, just takes a little time.
thx for the Platinum Club Fix for my old Duration but my new Annual Membership is missing so far.
So, the old site doesn't work and the new site doesn't work. Gotta love spin symmetry.
For some reason TOA Ryder for Genesis 3 Female(s) gives an instantaneous Download Failed.
Wow, new sale page up and running (well, not the prices, yet) in 10 minutes. Getting there.
well I am furious
just got charged $70 PC+ renewal in spite of having cancelled it
on Paypal too
I have to now transfer funds from my emergency account hopefully in time that I don't get a overdrawn fee from my bank on top of it
Have you canceled the paypal side after canceling it here?! That's needet to make it work, else paypal transfers the money and you get the renewal... So it would be a paypal thing...
It's been found in: Settings - > Payments -> Manage your Automatic Payments
yes it's inactive
I cannot remove it altogether
Mhm... strange. I did it a few days back too and it worked fine for me. First at DAZ and then in Paypal and that's it. I first forgot paypal and Daz was reminding me with Email and here on the site multiple times that i have to cancel paypal too.

As far as I know, we can't charge/cancel the PayPal subscriptions made before the site switchover. It just runs automatically and then lets us know when a charge worked/didn't work.
Subscriptions created in the new system with PayPal we can stop billing at any time, which is really helpful when people pick up some annual membership extensions on sale.
It is inactive and I cannot see how to remove it I cannot see an actual charge unless it came out last week
says $0 here
I am confused
no money seems to have come out
..unless I was charged $70 last year in addition to my discounted rejoining then?
It might have been the messed up quoting here in the forums. Because gniial's answer doesn't match the quoted text.
I cancelled it again here (and left feedback
)
if it did happen last year and I have no idea, I can live with it
but I cannot afford this right now, transfered some money in case but I was leaving until next year for good reason
I love DAZ content and happily buy it when I have money!!
Did you look under "Preapproved Payments" to make sure the status is cancelled? According to Google to do this you need to:
yes and my only active one before this screenshot was Epic Games which I cancelled again too when I looked before
that page above was my inactive ones
I don't really know. Maybe it would be a good thing to remind paypal too to add a cancelation date too. I think i will do that, because it seems strange that your paypal used an inactive automatic payment to pay something that is on both ends canceled.
Hmmm It said Total Billed "$0.00". You can also use the Activity Tab and do a search for Daz Productions just to make sure you weren't charged.
yeah will see if in PC+ tomorrow
it said payment $70 today before I cancelled again here! ( had cancelled a week ago too and got booted out of the PC+ forum) I did not screenshot it
So Maybe as DAZ_RAWB said it cancelled it
just weird I am back in that forum too
I am happy to give DAZ money when I actually have some!!!
It seems that change doesn't lead to better things... Of course, I'm not a conservative, but I often find that every update to the site engine leads to irreparable losses.
This time, the old links to products containing SKUs stopped working. For example, https://www.daz3d.com/catalog/product/view/id/64021, and http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/64021/start in the Documentation Center. Also, the search (Search Store) on the main page no longer works when you enter SKU.
Not knowing English well, I remember numbers better, so it was important for me.
Yep. We're spoiled for PAs here, and I honestly feel bad for them right now. The rollout happening right in the middle of one of the year's major sales can't have been good for business, given all the days where things either haven't worked at all, or have been unstable to the point that people have been put off buying. That's part of why a catchup sale uninterrupted by site updates would be nice, those of us who missed things because our memberships were messed up, followed by the discounts not working after they were reflagged, etc. could pick that stuff up, but it'd also be a makeup opportunity for the PAs who were hoping to do some volume sales on older products through PFAD and lost out due to bad luck on inclusion dates.
I will say that it seems like things are finally settling down at least some, and I expect we'd all be in at least a somewhat better mood if they finally took steps toward doing things like resolving ownership issues for products that we haven't "owned" for over a week, in spite of having paid for them. That's my big hangup right now. I resent being an unpaid tester, but I really resent not having access to things I've bought and could need to reinstall at any time.
