Well, USUALLY there's some kind of catch up sale towards the end of one of these big promos, although the discounts aren't as good as the originals... but considering that whoever's in charge this year keeps forgetting to do even the most basic things like putting the products that are on sale in the ad (6:55PM currently in DAZ land and yesterday's Newly Mad items are still no-shows in the Still Mad section), I'm not sure if I'd count on anything this year.
...yeah in a Ketchup sales, you don't get the extra bonus for buying more than one item or for buying a new/still new release. So all those items I removed from the cart last night will probably remain on the wishlist until there is a flash sale for that particular vendor.
Fantasy Skins for Genesis 8 and Kaleidoscope just went from 40% off to 15%, even though they're only a day old. Hopefully that gets corrected soon.
March-mehness is back, worse than last year's version. I've picked up a couple of whishlisted items, but until this sale improves I'll just sit back. Even if it means waiting until the PA and PC sales at the end of the year.
Lame discounts, which often aren't even applied, featured artists being left off on the sales pages. Just lame, Daz. You can do better, as you did do better in the past.
We are watching the sales page and will report on the hour if Magento hasn't cleared up by then.
All of the Daz Original figures in the related madness items are showing 30% off instead of 40% off.

That's a weird 40% off. With two in the cart, it goes to 29%.

I'm not sure if this is wrong or not. I just bought dForce Jasper Black for Genesis 8 Male(s) and Cave, thought together they'd be $10 and change, but I wasn't paying attention as I bought. Ended up being $13.86, didn't notice until the deal was done. Should they have made each other %50, or not? I'm afraid I don't have a cart SS.
(I know it doesn't sound like much, but we're living on disability, and I could have bought a PC item with that almost $4)
Edit: I just tried putting them back in the cart for a SS, and it worked.

What percentage were they? If they're new mad or still mad and have two, they should be 50%.
@SpottedKitty most of my materials in sdmart content has different folders for the iray/3dl. And if not different folders they usually have either a Iray symbol, or iray text in thumbnail or such. It's very few of the products I have that is not having any clear seperation (and I had no idea about the RSL and MDL I must admit, so thansk for that info :) )
I do wonder though, am I the only one with problems to get the texture to work properly? I should perhaps say that I installed through Connect only.

ugh, those "bonuses" are really meh. except maybe those from the first 1-2 days, not even sure any more (my brain has overloaded/shorted with thumbnails *fzzzzt*)
i wouldn't even download them for free, so you can imagine how they're incentive to buy anything...
and i'm so sick off seeing the same keys day in day out. another useless feature of this MM, i mean c'mon, the majority of those who wanted those 2 products have bought them back then, or short after, or maybe as keys in the first MM days. the rest (me among them) is prolly not interested. this is a waste of pixels and space on the page. i agree with all that find the management of this MM and its sales page is poor! even i did "profit" from some bargains like the Kenji 7 bundle + the blink sales (read "robbed myself of decent food for the month + delayed bills"), just looking at those page's sections annoys me to no end ~
Don't know if it's a bug or just worded strangely, but.
Makes it sound like you can buy 2 for 50%, and then another "extra 20%" for 70% off total.
However fufilling what it looks like it says only gets you 60%.
That's not a bug, that's how percentages work.
$100 * 0.5 (=50% off) * 0.8 (=20% off) = $40
I know that, however how it's worded sounds like (50+20 extra). Not "50% off first and then 20% off afterwards". It's a bit needlessly misleading.
Just know for future reference, when you are at DAZ that is how it works, no matter the wording, LOL. I was getting some kitchenware the other day that was on sale at 30% off and there was a sign that said extra 20% certain items. Now since I am used to shopping at DAZ and this issue has been addressed millions of times I would be getting one discount. Color me surprised when I checked out and actually got 50% off the items.
Fortunately for you the people setting up the sale didn't know, or chose to ignore, basic maths. Still, I doubt any customers will sue them for false advertising in the circumstances.
Usually works that way in the shops where I live too, which is often why Daz Math tends to confuse me.
Nevertheless, and mathematical fidelity aside, most people would assume the simple arithmetic version of 50% + 20% means 70% rather than expecting the store to require you to carry a calculator to figure out the actual saving. I'm having a smile imagining the maths teacher standing at the checkout explaining it all to confused customers.
Is it me, or was march madness more value for money in the past?
